Enterprise's "no haggle" pricing is real -- the price listed on their website for the car we wanted was exactly the price we paid - and it was a really good price. Plus, you don't realize that the amount of time it takes to buy a car from a dealer is because of all the negotiation tactics, etc. This was SO speedy - about an hour from deciding to buy to walking out with the keys. A few things: 1) We were looking for a particular color (in a particular make, model, etc) that was harder to fine, so we ended up paying Enterprise $300ish to ship the car we wanted from PA to MD. That worked great - it took about a week (as I was told to expect), and then we had first dibs on buying the car if we liked it upon arrival. 2) After purchase we took the car to our trusted mechanic and did a full "pre-purchase" inspection. It was in great shape. It was a huge relief to me to know that we had 7 days to return the car (for $200) if it had turned out to have issues. 3) Ty on the Enterprise team helped us and she was straightforward, friendly, and responsive. Definitely recommend working with her - but we interacted with others on the team and everyone seemed great. I think having a commission structure where sales reps get paid a flat fee per vehicle (rather than making more if the price goes up) supports sales reps in being efficient and straightforward. I know some people have a bias against buying former rental cars, but in my experience having now owned a couple, they are maintained well (with a clear and documented maintenance history), in very good shape, and often end up being a great deal. 100% recommend buying a car through Enterprise Car Sales and specifically the Lanham location and team. Thank you for making it such a smooth and pleasant experience!

Easterns Automotive Group had the one we wanted and that's when I got in touch with Mike. Now I've been through the process of buying a few cars before and out of all the experiences I've had, Mike has done the most to make sure everything went smoothly and that we had an amazing experience. First, Mike made sure I was able to look over the Carfax and see if there was anything I might be concerned about. He didn't have to take the time to do this but he did. Then he made sure the car was thoroughly detailed for us as he knew this was going to be a special gift. When it came time to do the paperwork, things were a little more complicated because we were purchasing a vehicle out of state, but again, Mike was making sure we felt comfortable with everything and we never felt bad for asking questions if we had them. Finally, when it came time to ship the car, Mike was there making sure it got loaded ok and was safely on it's way. Now technically, Mike's job was done, but he wasn't done making sure our experience was the best. He was checking in to make sure the Jeep was delivered ok. Even though that wasn't his responsibility. He was genuinely excited to hear how my mom would react to seeing her Jeep and again, wanted to do everything he could to make sure she had a great experience. He even sent a card and called her to congratulate her! Mike went above and beyond because he not only helped make sure we were getting a beautiful Jeep for mom, but that she would get the kind of VIP experience that she would remember for the rest of her life. And that's not something you can necessarily pay for. It takes a special type of person who understands the value of relationships and that's what I came to see about Mike. He doesn't just treat you like a customer, he treats you like family. When buying a car from Mike, you feel like you're buying a car from a friend, someone who cares about you and is looking out for you. So thank you Mike! My mom will remember this experience for the rest of her life and we couldn't have done this without you. For anyone considering purchasing a vehicle, I would highly recommend giving Mike a call or stopping by and saying "hi!" Mike has such a gentle and loving personality, that I believe whether you end up buying a car from him or not, you'll consider the time speaking with him worthwhile. And if you're fortunate enough to get to know Mike to where you become like family with him, well that's the true blessing in all of this that goes way beyond the measure and worth of any vehicle you might decide to purchase.

Instead of sitting in a stuffy dealership all day, I can grab a ride home and go about my day--huge win in my book. The staff is consistently super friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. That alone already sets the tone, but the efficiency is what really stands out. At other Toyota dealerships, I've experienced long waits with little to no communication--even while sitting right in the waiting area. That is not the case here. At this location, I'm never waiting all day. In fact, my car is often ready before I even realize it's been taken back for service. The communication is clear, the process is smooth, and everything feels well-organized. I truly appreciate the fast, efficient, and professional service provided by the service department. They replaced the motor for free (warranty) and I was like This place is alright with me, but that was not to remain so. What should've been an easy win they instead turned a minor annoyance into a complete shitshow. The very next day the window barely cracks open, two fingers max. I haul it back in. Their brilliant diagnosis? "Oh, a gasket we forgot to secure properly was in the way." So they cut the damn thing, claim victory, and shove me out the door. Problem solved? Hell no. Now every time I open the door it sounds like a cat caught in a blender; grinding, scraping, something metal-on-metal that shouldn't be happening. The door fights me when I try to close it, like it's personally offended. And the window? Still refuses to open more than a crack. Same problem. Worse problem. New problems. I sent them a detailed, polite-but-firm email laying out exactly what they broke and demanding a plan to unfuck my truck. Months. Crickets. Absolute radio silence. Because of their butcher job my truck failed inspection. I'm out registration money, time, and now driving around with an illegal vehicle because these clowns can't be bothered to answer a damn email. They don't fix cars. They ruin them. Then they ghost you. Incompetence this deep isn't an accident: it's policy. Either management is asleep at the wheel or they simply do not give a single fuck about customers. Pick one. Both are disqualifying. If you enjoy watching your hard-earned money get lit on fire while your vehicle gets systematically destroyed, by all means bring it here. Otherwise run. Far. Fast. I'm already reporting this to Toyota corporate. A brand that good doesn't deserve amateurs who butcher repairs, ignore emails, and leave customers stranded with illegal vehicles.

Short Version: Justin tried to sell me a car with a gas tank problem. He said it was a sensor problem but how can you believe someone who's already lied. I asked for a refund on my 1500 deposit and he only wanted to return 500. He said it was for the "fixes" he made to it and he couldn't show me a receipt. Long Version: First I put a 1,500 dollar deposit on a Chevy Malibu. I came to pick up the car but before we left we did another test drive. The car was on empty so I offered to put gas in but every single time he said no you're our customer. At this point I'm still delusional, thinking he cares about us. Then I notice he's having trouble with the pump so I get out to offer my help. THE GASOLINE IS POURING OUT OF THE TANK. I head back and tell him I want a refund on my 1500 dollar deposit and he only wanted to return 500. He said it was for the "fixes" he made to it and he couldn't show me a receipt. After screaming, crying, and begging he finally agreed to return 1400. Now this last part is my dad's decision. The guy lowered the price on a Toyota Camry so we took that instead. I came in for a brake issue and paid over $1,051 for brake pads, rotor work, and an oil change on a 2016 Tucson -- with $697 in labor alone, higher than what friends pay at BMW dealerships. My invoice describes rear rotor replacement but no rotor part number appears anywhere on my paperwork, leaving me uncertain whether that work was actually performed. I was also steered toward starting a warranty claim process that I'm likely ineligible for as a second owner -- something that should have been disclosed before I went down that path. This was the 25th vehicle I've purchased in my life and was better than my prior excellent experiences with Mercedes, Acura and Infiniti. My initial contact was with sales person Caesy Rivera by phone and he was very informative about the Darcars pricing strategy and verifying the 2020 Grand Cherokee High Altitude (w/5.7L Hemi) I was interested in was available. I was unable to travel the 1.5 hours to the dealership till this past Friday (9 Oct). Upon arrival and after being introduced to sales managers Frankie and Tim, Caesy explained features of the vehicle (this was my first time driving a Grand Cherokee) and the basic outline of where we were going on the test drive. The Grand Cherokee was quite impressive. Upon return to the dealership, Caesy provided the dealerships initial sales write up. I was impressed with their first offer on the F150 I was trading in. The Darcar sales price of the Grand Cherokee was quite fair based upon my several weeks of research. After a brief discussion with Frankie (Semper Fi!), we were able to come to an acceptable compromise on pricing of both the Grand Cherokee and my F150 trade in. This occurred in less than 5 minutes of start of negotiations! Amazing!!! To add more greatness to this transaction, when I met with Andrew in F & I, he was prepared for me, had pertinent documents laid out and explained extended warranty options. I already had pre-approved financing with my bank, so that merely streamlined the process. Andrew was very professional - as are all of the folks I interacted with at Darcars New Carrollton! The vast inventory selection (they were the only dealer within 75 miles with Hemi powered High Altitudes - and they had four of them) and wonderful sales professionals at Darcars New Carrollton certainly made my 1.5 hour drive each way well worth the effort and time invested.

DARCARS New Carrollton epitomizes the worst aspects of the car dealership industry: unethical…read morepractices, deceitful sales, and appalling customer service. I've worked in sales for over a decade, and my experience after purchasing a gently used car here was nothing short of a nightmare. From concealed vehicle damage to broken promises, dismissive management, and rude staff, this dealership demonstrated zero regard for my time, investment, or safety. I purchased a "fully-inspected" Mazda SUV with 50K miles on March 26. The very next day, I noticed a pulsing vibration at speeds over 45 MPH, and on March 28, the check engine light came on. I also discovered the electronic fob lacked a mechanical key. When I contacted the service department, I was told they only serviced Dodge/Jeep/Ram vehicles and couldn't address the issue. This was just the beginning of a series of excuses and frustrating delays. The salesperson, Emmanuel, was friendly during the sale, but things quickly soured when I emailed customer care to document the issues. He called me to scold me for doing so, then hung up when I pressed for a manager's help. After waiting five hours without resolution, I had to drive back to the dealership, where I was told they couldn't diagnose the issue and had to keep my car for four more days--still without fixing the vibration. On April 8, DARCARS' MD State Inspector Ziad identified a suspected issue with the driver's side front bearing, suggesting I visit a Mazda dealership for diagnosis. The next day, Mazda quoted me nearly $3K for repairs, revealing both front bearings, all four tires, and rims were severely damaged. The rims, concealed by tight hubcaps, had sharp-edged curb rash. I had to replace the bearings under warranty, but DARCARS ignored the tire and rim damage. On April 15, I tried to speak with Jay Berger, the used car manager, but was told he wouldn't be in until later. When I escalated to General Manager Tim Ralston, he was dismissive, defensive, and the rudest of the bunch, insisting that they had no knowledge of the damage. He even claimed that the curb rash was "cosmetic" and that I should just accept it. After a heated exchange, Tim begrudgingly wrote a 30-day "We Owe" order to address the rims, but only at my expense. Jay, when he finally responded, promised to repair the rims but failed to provide a timeline or any financial commitment. I reached out to him over 19 times between April 30 and July 2, often getting no response, and the few times I did, he failed to follow through. Eventually, on July 2, he confirmed the repairs could be done but ghosted when I asked for specific dates. After more delays, he agreed to take the car in on July 17, but then pushed the appointment back to July 24. When I arrived per his instructions, there was no rental car, and Jay didn't answer his phone. I was left stranded with no help from Tim. On July 25, Jay informed me that the rims wouldn't be repaired until the following day, and when I politely asked for this in writing, he lost his temper and hung up. The next day, I picked up the car for the last time. While the rims were finally fixed and the missing mechanical key was cut, the damaged tires were still untouched. I left DARCARS New Carrollton with no apology, no reimbursement for the months of follow-up, no reimbursement for my time or money spent on Ubers and repairs, and no resolution for the ongoing tire issues. Four months of repeated follow-ups, rude interactions, and constant delays left me with a car that had hidden damage and no support from the dealership. I've since taken the car to two other mechanics and continue discovering more issues. DARCARS New Carrollton is lazy, deceitful, and careless with customers' time, money, and safety. Their goal is clearly to sell you a car and hope you go away when things go wrong. If you value your sanity, avoid this dealership at all costs. Their hundreds of 1-star reviews speak for themselves.
