A flavor I tried and loved!

You guys!!!! Take the detour from HWY 80 and get yourself a crazy delicious ice cream!! I was traveling from TN to CA and a cool app (Roadtripper) recommended this shop. So glad we went "off trail" to get here. They had the most amazing flavors available and we could have tasted every single one if we wanted. I made up my mind by number three: horchata and deep chocolate. The service was so friendly. The ice cream maker was there today and walked us through her great flavor ideas. The atmosphere is a typical little cafe and ice cream shop. Hurry up and get yourself some great ice cream!

I stopped by Icecycle Creamery and Pedalers Deli a few days ago. What a lovely place. We tried the ice cream flight with six different flavors, and every single one was delicious. I was happy to hear they use all natural flavors, no artificial colors. Hard to pick a favorite, but the cookies and cream was definitely my top choice. Highly recommend!

Stopped in because I had a free half sandwich and wanted lunch for the hubs too. I ordered the Berry Bird on Dutch crunch. It's turkey, cranberry sauce, cream cheese, arugula, tomato, and onion. I can't resist turkey with cranberry and this sandwich didn't disappoint. Stuffed full of turkey and fresh ingredients; it was yummy. The arugula was a nice touch,as most sandwiches only go iceberg or green leaf lettuce. The Hub had a full sized The Fixe on Dutch crunch: Porchetta, salami, provolone, red pepper, aïoli, olives, pepperoncini, arugula, tomato, onion, and seasonings. This sandwich had a kick to it! I cut off a bit to taste and it was great. Hub said he really enjoyed the mix of flavors. He ate the entire sandwich! Parking was easy and the staff are helpful and friendly. Limited seating, but I was a to go order. A hidden gem in the side of the shopping center. Reasonable priced too, most sandwiches are $11.75 to just over $12.00. And salads at $12.75. We will return to sample more menu items. I'm thinking the Pedalerstrami or The Cruiser.

It has been years since I have had the ice cream here! I remember when you could just catch them at food truck Friday's with their little cart, my how far they have come! First off, no one is complaining about the fact that you can grab a sandwich here if you are looking for something a little more savory but their ice cream is top notch! I LOVE that they had an ice cream flight, which is obviously what we got. Their Home Means Nevada is always a classic but none of the ice creams that we tried would I say no to, they were all on point! This is the perfect, sunny happy place to spend a little family time and enjoy a treat!

They have very unique ice creams, and they all taste so good. Didn't see this till after we ordered our scopes, but you can do an ice cream flight. It's like a flight of beer but with ice cream, great idea. I ordered 2 scoops of the Thai tea, and it was so good. You can check their website for their flavors since the change. Place is small and clean. The staff member was very nice, but maybe bring attention the the flight. Would have liked the variety.

The root beer float was amazing and the staff was really nice

I was met at the counter by Christina who obtained my order, answered any questions and made my sandwich. She was friendly, proficient and professional. The Tricycle sandwich caught my attention, I picked Italian herb bread from so many great choices. The ingredients were fresh and plentiful. The breads are baked daily! The ambiance is colorful, fun and family oriented. There is an After school Happy hour for the Ice cream side of the store 2:30-5:00pm . Buy a scoop of ice cream and get one free. I will return for that after I eat my delicious sandwich!

Small place, slow service. Toms of cycling decor. I ordered a chocolate malt as usual and a Bloke's spokes roast beef sandwich. They cut all the meats for the sandwiches, which is a nice touch, but adds to wait. The sandwich and malt were so good, I stopped by again when I had to return to Reno the following day. A caution: watch your step when arriving and departing. The walkway is two level and I slipped off the curb and went down, losing 3/4 of my malt. Actually broke my finger. Be careful!

Available flavors 06/30/2024 but Strawberry Lemonade was swapped out for Thai Tea as we arrived

Since moving to Reno, I have noticed there aren't many ice cream shops around. I was both surprised and delighted to find Icecycle Creamery! Icecycle has a few permanent flavors, but most of the options rotate in and out. And they don't just have your typical ice cream flavors! While I was in the store, I sampled the dark chocolate, white chocolate mocha, lime zest guava, and Thai tea. All four were great and I honestly regret not sampling more. We ended up getting two split scoops, one with Thai tea and dark chocolate, the other with Thai tea and white chocolate mocha (aka all of the ones we tried). For two split scoops (4 scoops total), we paid a little over $9, which in today's economy, seems like a steal. We visited on a Sunday around 1 pm and there was only one other customer in the store. While we ate our ice cream, another couple walked in, grabbed ice cream, and left. I am not sure if this is the norm for this place. It was nice to be at a place that wasn't crowded, but given how delicious the ice cream was, I would have expected more folks on a nice summer day! Overall, I am so glad I stumbled upon Icecycle Creamery online and had a chance to check it out. I will definitely be back throughout the summer to try more of the flavors!

Close to 5 stars but not quite. Basically ice cream and sandwiches. Sandwiches are about $12 and are good size but not huge. I'd say it's more like a $10 sandwich but what doesn't seem expensive these days? They make an interesting "crusty" bread which has a sweet crust and soft inside which was different. Maybe a little too much on the sweet side but still overall very good sandwich. They appear to be a little understaffed at peak hours so some patience may be in order. Dining room is small with if few chairs and tiny tables outside if you want a view of the parking lot and gas station a coin toss away. You might not be getting any special offers (I saw mention of a happy hour Mon-Sat but doesn't seem to be the case anymore - or confused it with another place.) Even with that, I think these local type casual eateries are good for the community and should be supported when possible instead of Subway or other chains.

Every flavor is good. You won't go wrong.

The gentlemen who owns the shop was so nice to tell us about his store and how he makes the ice cream. We probably tasted the whole case and I can say not one flavor I didn't like. They were all so good. I loved the honey ice-cream, Reno 911 and the Nevada ice cream with the pine nuts is unusual but yummy. I bought my daughter a 3 scooper and I took a pint of Reno 911 home in case of emergency need of something delicious. I love supporting local businesses that really care about their product and this store only uses the best ingredients.

Absolutely 100% yes, just go! I loved the location that used to be in downtown Reno, and still love them in the new location. It is very easy to say that this is one of my absolute favorite Ice Cream shops in town. I love the humor in their design and the level of creativity of the Ice Cream alone is 10/10. I cannot wait to come back in the very near future to try their sandwiches and other menu items.

Came here for date night with the fiance and it was the perfect spot to end our night! We were greeted by I believe the owner! He had a cool mustache and he gave us the run down of the shop and some history on how it got started which was so fun to listen to! The shop itself is adorable. It's small inside and clean! They offer a lot of flavored ice cream, you can buy by the pint in their freezer selection. You can have a milkshake, sundae, float, affogato, you name it! They make the ice cream themselves in house and the flavors are unique! I got carrot cake and it had raisins in it. My fiance got the smores one and it had soft graham cracker in it. Definitely recommend this place especially since Reno doesn't really have many creameries!

Flight sampler $9 I think it's the best deal, try 6 flavors and enough to share

We ordered the Dust Storm: a vanilla milkshake with chocolate bits, topped with a giant blondie skewered dramatically on top, plus whipped cream, sprinkles, and chocolate drizzle. The rim of the jar was coated in marshmallow dip and graham cracker crumbs because apparently subtlety has left the chat. Honestly, the presentation was on point and exactly the kind of milkshake kids dream about. Which is why we ordered it. My tween declared it "the best milkshake I've ever seen in my life," and honestly, that alone made it worth the stop on our mother-daughter trip. Taste-wise, it leaned very sweet for me and didn't have a ton of flavor depth beyond sugar overload. But clearly the goal here is maximal fun and aesthetic, and they absolutely nailed that. It's basically a photo op you can drink. The shop itself was surprisingly quiet when we visited in the evening--we had the whole place to ourselves--but there were games to play while waiting for our order (we pulled out Pick Up Sticks, which transported me straight back to my 90s childhood living room). The ladies at the counter were also incredibly kind and patient explaining the menu and flavors to us. If you're looking for an over-the-top dessert experience your kids will talk about for days, this is your place.

YELP REVIEW PROMPT…read more Checked on Yelp for a dessert spot that I haven't tried before. Sierra Nevada Creamery and Bakery was a quick four minute walk from our lunch spot so we thought why not! It's located right next to the Pioneer Center for Performing Arts and has a very small parking area. There are restaurants on either side so there is also street parking. It was a warm day so I decided on a double scoop in a cup, one pistachio and one sea salt caramel. The double scoop was huge, definitely no skimping and only $10. There was one person ahead of us and then tons of people piled in after we did so we got there at a really good time! There was only employee working (I think he may have been the owner). I felt so bad because it was just him and he had a line almost out the door but if he was stressed he did not show it. He was friendly and so professional. The inside is pretty small but there some places to sit and if the inside is full the grass area right outside isn't a bad place to enjoy your treats. I would recommend for sure and I definitely want to go back and try a chocolate chip cookie. Things to note: Read his story on the ice cream menu. I enjoyed it and that is what makes me want to return to try the chocolate chip cookie.

I was surprised to see this place as I've driven by this strip of businesses many times and never noticed this particular spot. They offer homemade treats, but mostly ice cream. They have an almost unmatched selection of non-dairy ice creams and sorbets. A nice surprise. The gentleman helping us was very nice and gave us a full rundown of how they make everything in house. He offered samples and suggestions. I sampled the flavor of the week, Lavender Honey Matcha, and the coconut cream coffee. My kids decided on the mango sorbet and the classic strawberry. Everything was delicious. The coconut cream ice cream had great flavor and texture given that it was non dairy. My wife and I decided on the matcha flavor of the week. It was very refreshing. The strawberry had real chunks of strawberry which is always a treat. My biggest critique is the texture of the ice cream. This stuff seemed very crumbly. I prefer a much more "chewy" or "sticky" ice cream if that makes sense. This stuff was more "dry" and less "creamy". There are some other local shops in the area that make great ice cream exactly how I like it, which is the only reason for 4 stars. I'm not sure this would be my top place for ice cream again. The smallest "one scoop" size is actually nearly two full scoops. Could be a good thing for some, but a kids scoop is always appreciated for my toddlers, especially a a slightly discounted price. That is not an option here. There are a few small tables inside to enjoy your treats and lots of to-go options which is always nice. The place was clean and well decorated. It was steadily busy while we visited, indicating that this place is likely here to stay. Overall, worth stopping in if you're in the area. The flavors are unique and tasty and the non-dairy selection is fantastic.

I also liked that the cone itself had strawberry flavor woven into it rather than just being dyed pink or coated in toppings. I originally planned to get a second flavor to try, but the single scoop cone was over $10 so we decided to just share. We also came after seeing an Instagram post about their seasonal Lucky Charms cone and thought it included the ice cream shown in the photo, but it turned out to just be the cone. The advertising appeared to be made with AI and, for that reason, was a bit misleading when it came to representation of the ice cream available. Parking was probably the biggest challenge. Our order: Snickerdoodle Cookie Sandwich with Vanilla Bean - super fresh cookie with a huge scoop of delicious vanilla bean ice cream. I'm not sure if they outsource or make their own ice cream but it's high quality. Super soft and fresh snickerdoodle Cookie. Peanut Butter Cookie Sandwich with Strawberry Ice Cream - huge chunks of strawberry and a very fresh peanut butter cookie. It's delicious! Mint Chocolate Chip with Waffle Cone - Surprisingly the ice cream looks almost like vanilla and has no trace of the radioactive green color you see in most store bought mint ice cream, but the mint flavor is strong and unmistakable as well as a perfect match for the delicious chocolate chips. Overall, I was super impressed with this ice cream truck. Quality was phenomenal and every flavor was superb. Highly recommended!

We did not actually use Lazy Sundae BUT their customer service was amazing. We had an event planned…read morewith another vendor and the day before our event they called to tell us that they doubled booked themselves and were unsure if they could make it. I called Lazy Sundae in hopes for a miracle but they were already booked (it was the middle of summer so I wasn't expecting them to be available) however they referred me to a couple other businesses in town to see if they could help. I just thought it was super awesome for a business to refer me to its competitors to help me save our event.
