Not the most up to date place but the food was great and the prices were good. The sushi is on the smaller side but the taste has freshness and quality.

Have been going to Ichiban for over 20 years. They have the best chicken teriyaki bento box. It is a family owned restaurant and a little hole in the wall treasure. Would eat here everyday if I could.

The ultimate hole in the wall... Even knowing where it is at, I have passed it by a couple of times, having to turn around and sneak up on it from the other side. Blink and you miss it. I have to say that I have never had their sushi, not a big fan of sushi in general. I come here for noodles and such. I that regards, this place is tops with a good selection of dishes, sweet friendly service and reasonable prices.

Very small and I've passed it many times not realizing it was a restaurant. However it is GREAT!! Service is great, food is delicious and very quick! Gyoza are a must have!

Second time here. It's a little bit off of 82nd in Castleton, north on Bash road. Both times the food was very good.

Yaki Ramen (does not come with a broth) but is a pork cutlet with veggies and ramen noodles!

This place is a hidden GEM! But dont judge the restaurant by the outside! It is kinda hidden and doesn't get a lot of foot traffic but this is some of the best Asian I have had! They are very responsive and super nice! The inside can be dated but I came for the flavor of the food and they delivered!

Absolutely loved the experience! The building is off of Bash Rd. The food came out very quickly, and was delicious! Extremely affordable too! I loved the tempura rolls & the shrimp dumplings. I can't wait to go back again for more

Don't be fooled by the looks of this place. It may not look like it, but this little house just northeast of Castleton Mall is home to some of the most authentic Japanese food you'll find in Indianapolis. They specialize in Ramen, udon, & soba noodles but also have a decent selection of sushi and rice dishes. The hidden gems are on the appetizer menu. Agedashi Tofu, Ika Maruyaki (grilled whole squid), and shumai are some of the highlights.

Took order to go and half of the rolls are broken.

Food is great but lately they are struggling to keep stuff around and place look like short handed most of the times. Last 2 orders to go didn't go right. Last week one thing ordered we're missing from the bag and today half of the order of rolls are broken. Both of the orders were for my kid. She was disappointed. Please Ichiban step up to the right standards.

Great service, good value. This is Chinese family owned and operated Japanese joint that offers all things Japanese. The food was pretty nothing to write home about but the service was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable. I enjoyed sitting at the bar, and I enjoyed my 40 cent cup of tea, but really didn't enjoy my ramen or my sushi. Ramen: The Shoyu Ramen noodles were not ramen noodles, they were more like soft wide rice noodles. The broth tasted like it came from a can of chicken broth, mixed in with some soy sauce. The cutlet and a ton of pepper helped me get through this bowl, I was hungry and didn't want to waste my 8 bucks. The included salad helped me get full, so not too upset for $8, still way healthier than a fast food value meal. Sushi: I had a smoked salmon roll, I wanted something cooked. Sitting at the bar, I did not feel very comfortable ordering any fresh / uncooked sushi. Using the bathroom here made me a little skeptical of the overall cleanliness of the old structure. The Smoked Salmon roll came out pretty ugly and the wasabi was the really cheap variety squeezed out of a tube. Conclusion: Come here for something resembling Asian food in this neck of the woods for an attractive price.

Hidden gem award. This is another one of those locations you either were told about or you happen to walk in after driving that back road and saying wow that is going on my places to go. If you like soups, noodles, bento boxes or sushi well they have them all. Bento boxes and soups with noodles are usually out go to items and have always been great.

I'm not a fan of raw sushi, so I always get the sweet potato roll and/or the stop 11 roll. We ordered DoorDash last night and added the tomago roll and it will be added to my favorites at Sushi Club. The stop 11 roll was all gone before I could snap a picture, but there are pictures uploaded by other users. Note: I do substitute soy wrapper instead of seaweed and I add cream cheese to the tomago and sweet potato rolls. It's $2 extra but well worth it. As far as pricing goes, when you order DoorDash there is a slight up-charge, but it's still fair pricing. We got three rolls for $40 with tip and service fees. Three people ate, so overall not a bad deal. If you want to dine in, they do offer AYCE made to order appetizers and sushi. The restaurant itself is no frills, but it's a good bargain if you can eat a good amount of food. If you don't like something, tell the server and don't just leave it on your plate at the end because you'll be charged extra if you leave a certain number of pieces. If you're a light eater like me and AYCE isn't for you, there is a full menu to order from. If you haven't tried this place, give them a shot! They also have a location on West 10th Street and in Fishers at 116th and Allisonville.

The aesthetic of the restaurant is bright with a lot of natural light, and that is my favorite kind of restaurant. It was stunning! All 4 of the rolls were delicious and stayed true to their sushi roll form from plate to mouth. (Read: I hate using chopsticks on sushi rolls that fall apart. Pet peeve.) All that delicious food for 2 people under $35 including tip. Mori Sushi for the win!
