I heard from friends that they were going back to get seconds. Amazing! Although we had 300 guests, the line moved quickly and everyone was able to enjoy their soft serve. ZAZZY was easy to work with. I let them know what I wanted and how many guests were expected and they gave me a quote right away. I felt prices were reasonable! They also helped me customize that cart which added a special touch. The day of the reception, ZAZZY arrived on time and set up quickly. Our guests were trying to get soft serve before they were even open! It was a smooth process from my first inquiry with ZAZZY until the very end of our reception. We are so glad we booked ZAZZY. We didn't get the specialized name plate and just opted for standard. Unfortunately, we didn't get the basic "Popcorn" or "Gelato", it was just blank (see pic). We had an issue with the flavors we requested. I didn't knock off any of their stars for this because we had to wait so long for the Venue to ok Zazzy that we didn't have everything in place until 4 days after they gave us the flavor options. So we had to go with whatever they had. As for the popcorn, they didn't have the traditional kettle corn, they had Churro corn. It probably would have been nicer if it was fresh. It was already popped and in a canister when it arrived. Someone else noted that the buttered popcorn was a little stale. Not sure when it was popped, but it was already popped when I took the attached pic BEFORE the event. They could have done better with the quality of their popcorn. As for the Gelato, absolutely no complaints. It was delicious and the almonds didn't taste stale. I asked for my deposit back - and after several emails, calls and voicemail, a week later I was told that it is not refundable. I was never told that it was not refundable, there is no contract made. Fernanda thinks that it says so at the bottom of her emails but nope, all it says is 'Please note that orders are not booked on our calendars until a deposit is paid and we confirm the receipt of that deposit.  Quotes for your order do not constitute a contract for services.' NO mention that deposit is not refundable. She should have directed me to the disclaimer that she has on her website that mentions it but how else would I have seen that unless I am told to go into the website? Since I expressed my frustrations, she has told me that she will refund my deposit but has still failed to do so almost a week later. Even sent out a reminder PayPal refund email but no luck. Refunding the deposit takes less than 5 minutes - please don't give me an excuse to say that you were too busy. I think it is unfair to hold money from a customer without fully explaining the terms and conditions and if you've said that you will refund it then you should do it ASAP not drag it on...
