My kids and I had tried this pace for the first time. The kids enjoyed picking their flavors, watching it be made, and picking unlimited toppings. I had mai Thai with brownie bites and toasted coconut. The brownie bites tasted terrible! The kids loved their Oreo Blast and Nutella and Chill. The service was subpar and I felt rushed when there was no one else in line. It being made with condensed milk did not sit well with my stomach and if I go back I will have to stick to the "fruit roll" sorbet. read more

This is ice cream shop does the popular rolled ice cream rolls you've seen on the internet. They have several bases (dairy and non-dairy), from which you choose. They'll made the rolls, and then you can add your toppings to it. Last time, I got the mango base with some chocolate sprinkles and nuts. It was pretty delicious. It might be a little expensive, but the ice cream is really good and it's customized to your liking, so I think it's worth it once in a while. This place just blew my mind away. I loved how they have rolled ice cream. It looked so good and tasted so good with great flavor and texture. You can choose as much toppings as you would like to have. The employee that made my rolled ice cream was an expert. She did it so fast and made it look easy. Look at the labor these kids put in. 2. Fresh ingredients are used. 3. Cold Stone is more expensive and less tasty. 4. Unlimited topping - use your common sense here, just because it is unlimited does not mean you have to hoard to the max - it is embarrassing! I have seen customers in front of me that ask for every topping because it is free, and these are adults! This place is a nice addition to downtown Pleasanton. I like how there is a variety of ice cream options in the area now. We got the Strawberry fantasy, gotcha matcha and wake me up. All which had good flavor and I loved that they had unlimited topping. This is rare for an ice cream place, you would think everyone would take advantage of this, but almost all the customers were respectful and didn't over do this. Also, it was entertaining watching them make your ice cream rolls. The reason why I don't give them more stars is because the ice cream is too thick and not creamy enough. It was hard to scoop ice cream from the cup with my spoon, which also made it hard to eat because it took longer to melt. Let's just say, we got there 15 min before our friends and our ice cream kept it's form and melted very little. This made the ice cream filling and boring to eat after having half of it so one cup can feed at least 2 people. I probably won't be back unless they make their ice cream more creamy and less dense. read more

LOVED it the first time! The staff was friendly and we returned a second time. However there was only one girl working with about 20 costumers.. so the long wait time was understandable. Once the line went down I placed another order and she was very rude , there were 2 other guys to help her now.. I asked if I could change my order seconds after I placed it by I noticed the one I ordered has cookies in it and I have trouble digesting gluten. She got angry and told me I had to tell them about allergies and I said "you don't have to make it in a different pan it's not an allergy" but she told her coworker to anyway so I had to wait until everyone that ordered after me was served. Also they upped their price to 8 bucks. As if they don't make enough money from all the people that go. Their ice cream is delicious but I won't be returning.. too rude and too expensive. read more

I love Icicles! My two favorites are cereal killer with fruity pebbles and the baesic with strawberry, blackberry, mochi, and condensed milk. Some people have mentioned the price being a little steep but if you think about it, it's a LOT of ice cream plus unlimited toppings and the bonus entertainment. This place is dishonest and a huge rip off. I am at the point where every time I talk to someone about icicles we end up swapping stories about how money grubbing they are. First of all, in no world should ice cream be that expensive. Second of all, and my biggest problem, is that they offer "unlimited toppings" but they give you extremely light toppings, and you can't go back to get more. A few months ago, I went to icicles for my second and very last time. I got their overpriced ice cream with some toppings, and when I went back to get more of their "unlimited toppings," they said it was a health code violation. As a fellow food worker, I told them as long as they don't touch my food with shared utensils, it isn't. They pointed me to a sign with a health code written on it, because I guess this is a recurring problem for them (no way false advertising is upsetting to people???). I took the liberty of looking up the health code, and it proved my point. I asked to speak to the manager, but they were "busy." Don't offer a service you don't, and don't lie to people when they call you on your bs. read more
