There are so many old-fashioned Chinese desserts you can try! And in my view, the top comments to a desserts is this is not sweet. Unlike most dessert in us, you can hardly tell the origin ingredients of sweetness, but most asian dessert leverage the sweetness of the ingredients!!! This place is soooooooooo good and it is just like the dessert shop you will meet at southern part of China. you can try their homemade tofu dessert with freshly grind soy beas to creat soy milk and then tofu dessert. Also their black seasame paste is also reallly worth trying!!!! Highly recommended because the taste is so great the texture is so smooth. Hot dessert is one of my favorite! You can also have a mix of the above two dessert together, they match with each other. I would like to try if I got another chance to visit this place.

Pretty large menu with various items: hot/cold drinks, shaved ice, and other Asian desserts, all reasonably priced. Good portion size. I like how they give you your own squeeze bottle of condensed milk with the shaved ice. Pretty generous with the toppings as well. The mango that comes with their desserts is surprisingly sweet. I wonder if they soak the fruit in sugar water.... The mango pancakes are a bit disappointing; too much cream, not enough mango, but good overall size. Service isn't bad; it's fast, and they check up on you at least once, which is pretty rare for an Asian establishment. They have a few ratty old games for you to play with while you eat. Free wifi and free parking out front.

Cute spot for bubble tea and shaved ice. The bubble tea tasted great and was prepared quickly, the shaved ice was fruit filled and tasty.

Recently ordered their hot grass jelly dessert to go, but I can't say it is one of my favourite desserts here. It was nice how they offer toppings to go with the grass jelly. I ordered the taro and matcha mochi as toppings. It was a bit odd how the toppings was molded with the grass jelly rather being on the top. But overall the taste was alright, but I would put for the shave ice dessert next time.

Good space to hang out after dinner. We got A+B combos. Plant pudding was mostly cream and brown sugar. Thick toast is a bit bland. Milk tea with red beans tastes like it was made with instant milk tea package. Honey chrysantemum tea was decent. Maybe should stick with their specialty shaved ice items. Service is decent and space is clean and relaxing.

Small dessert fad near my place the first time we went it was wednesday and it was closed(close every wednesday)...i heard about this place on much much younger age who goes there and have some sweets while hanging out with friends and wifieng. Im not a big fun of desserts and shaved ice but since its always the talk in a gatherings my self and few friends visited the place, small but neat place the rumor is true its a busy place and a heaven for teen ager's. Clean place, those modern design chandelier were so awesome i noticed the inside of every light comes in pastel colors lovin' it, white table and chairs looks so so clean..... We ordered shaved ice to share with 8 picks and we also tried the durian toast vanilla ice cream. Our shaved ice contains some jelly toppings, chewy toppings, sweet toppings and fruit toppings,i love the mochi and the taro, for the toast it was so thick a hybrid of french toast and a chinese sweeat bread,no single complaint with the things we ordered. Service is very homey .chinese guy when we came and he speaks perfect english, fast and effecient, wash room is immaculate clean,Sports event is playing on the TV,in the counter you will see all the toppings from a glass pretty neat and clean Noise level is morethan average...well youngsters patrons....parking is by the street and it was free,Accept credit, debit and cash..i say this fad is good for family and friends and very good with children.I will visit again to try more of the delish in the menu.

Was intrigued by their chocolate crepe roll cake sign outside but when we went inside to order, they didn't actually have it :(. We tried their mango crepe cake ($8) instead and was a little disappointed to find that it was just regular crepe cake with mango bits in between the layers, so the actual cake batter was not mango. Also tried their mango sticky rice and it came out hot (probs microwave) with condensed milk and mango cubes on top. SADLY, the mango wasn't sweet and was kinda sour which ruined the whole dessert Service was nice and friendly :)

Its really a Asian Hangout place for teenagers. Not really my type. Desert here are ok. But not that special. But its good for a hot summer day. But this place is super busy and can be pretty annoying when people just seems to sit forever. Service is ok not that great though. I personally think they are short staffed. The place is like a bunch of teenagers managing it. Not really thinking what should be done to maximize profit. Food is ok but is it worth the value. Ordered the Durian drink and I have to say its ok but honestly it is a rare item to find on a menu.

Some places have opened up in Vancouver so we passed by this one to give it a try. We ordered the Icy Mango. It was mango chunks, I think its potato and mango mochi and to top it all off vanilla ice cream with condensed milk on the side. The mangos were really ripe so that was delicious. Overall, it was okaaaaaaay :)

The hubs and I got some coupons online for 8 toppings, so after the movies we decided to have our "night cap" here. Decor & atmosphere: very simple and small place for a quick dessert. Kitchen service: Ordered at 10:31pm. Our ice came out at 10:36pm. Taste, portion, price: We were given a bottle of condensed milk so we can pour the sweetness to our hearts content. The bowl of ice was large, the toppings are ok, but 4 lychee per topping order seemed a bit little...it is pretty simple dish - ice cream is extra. Overall this place is ok. May or may not come back again.

Strawberry flavoured ice with tapioca and mochi and a mango green tea.

Price: $6-12/ shaved ice bowl Parking: Street parking Dessert: Below average Ambience: Casual bubble tea place Would I return: No I ordered the strawberry flavoured shaved ice with mochi and tapioca along with a mango green tea. I was pretty underwhelmed with the dessert and bubble tea. The shaved ice was a big portion but the shaved ice was lacking in flavour and the ice had more of an ice cream consistency, when I had been expecting a lighter fluffy consistency. The mango green tea bubble tea was also not very good, it lacked in flavour and sweetness. After one sip, I didn't really want to drink more. Overall the two items that I ordered were lacking in taste and flavour.

This is a great Icy Bar to pick up a nice traditional or more modern Chinese dessert, especially if you like shaved iced. We got a quickly got table for two and were served by the nice gentleman working at the shop. Fairly busy on a weekend night. I decided I was in the mood for one of my regular favourites, the mango pomelo sago dessert (楊枝甘露) and was met with a satisfying dessert. Nice and sweet with a decent amount of fruits included as well. My dessert was only $8.00 + tax/tip, which although isn't cheaper than the Icy Bar takeout locations is still a good place to come sit down for a dessert and chill out. The positive is that this menu has much more selection than the takeout locations and includes things such as waffles which I don't think I've seen before at the other takeout locations. Overall, this is a great location. I thought that the staff were super friendly and were pretty attentive to their customers. Another good thing is that they do accept visa and debit so cash is not necessary!

This location is right across the street from White Spot. My friend and I arrived around 7 pm. It wasn't very busy. There was only one staff member working up front. He did everything from taking the orders, cleaning tables, prepping food and being the cashier. Service was ok considering he was a one man show. The portion was huge but the price increased a bit from last year. We sat there for hours chatting. Luckily they weren't busy. We ordered the mango shaved ice ($11.25). There was a lot of mango but it wasn't that sweet. The condensed milk helped a lot. I think I like the other location near Boundary better than this location.

The sagos were cooked just right with the perfect texture and most importantly, it wasn't too sweet. We also ordered their instagram worthy mahjong tiles which is essentially red bean and coconut pudding. It's very cute and definitely instagram worthy. It's not too sweet and I liked that it came with a side of red bean sauce which made it less dry. The money is also made of edible paper but we didn't touch it cuz it felt weird eating it.
