I think my review got deleted and folks need to be aware of this place. They give discounts for good reviews. I initially gave IDC Embroidery five stars, thanks to Gaby's helpfulness and patience as she guided us through ordering my son's letterman jacket. She thoroughly explained each detail, from the jacket options to the patches and pricing. Gaby also mentioned that customers could receive a 10% discount for writing a review before picking up their order, and if we paid in cash, they wouldn't charge tax. Since letterman jackets run between $800-$1200, I appreciated the potential savings and followed these steps, paying half upfront as required. Later, we added three more patches, which Gaby said would increase the balance by $68. Unfortunately, when I returned to pick up the jacket, Gaby was out, and the owner, Jose, assisted us. While the jacket looked beautiful initially, a closer inspection revealed significant errors: spelling mistakes, incorrect punctuation, duplicate patches, buttons in the wrong color, and two patches that didn't match our order. Additionally, Jose quoted us a remaining balance of $650, though he lowered it to $550 after I questioned the amount--still $100 more than the amount Gaby had indicated. Without the invoice on hand, I chose not to argue, as we'd need to return the jacket anyway for corrections. Despite the jacket's quality and craftsmanship, I changed my review to one star. Here's why: first, their lack of attention to detail led to multiple errors on our order. Second, their accounting and operational systems appear flawed; my original invoice was somehow deleted from their records. Most disappointingly, Jose failed to honor the terms communicated by his employee. Even with the invoice and my initial payment as proof, he refused the agreed price, citing I couldn't receive both the no-tax and review discounts, though that was the offer Gaby had made. Since then, Jose has ignored my follow-up calls for resolution. I needed two shirts embroidered with my name for a new job and could not find anyone in LA opened on Saturday to take a last minute order. A friend forwarded me to Idc embroidery located in Bellflower I called spoke to Austin who said he can do it if I arrived in 20 minutes, I advised him I would need 30-40 minutes he agreed. I made it there at 10:30am and discussed what was required . He was very professional and the only company I called that truly acted as if they wanted my business. Jose was honest and set expectations with last minute pricing which was very responsible. Jose explained my shirt would be ready by 2pm but he would call me once completed. I received the call before 2pm .Upon my arrival a nice young lady meet me at the front and handed me the shirt and was sure I reviewed the work before I left . Yesenia was the absolute BEST!!!! She was very professional and courteous. She helped bring my daughter's vision to life for her high school varsity jacket! She gave her professional opinion when needed most, while respecting my daughter's autonomy to create her jacket. The final product was breathtaking and absolutely EVERYTHING we desired! We're do I start from the day I called them they were really nice and detail of what they do.. I had to step Into there shop to see what they were all about.. As I walked in customers one and by another coming in and been happy with there work. That was a plus for them.. I order hats and custom patches for my clothing line. Jose was really helpful and via email send me pictures of the samples for my approval there turnaround time was on point and even 2 days earlier.. The quality of chenille patches that his dad do was excellent and the hats on point. I came here a few times, based on the great Yelp reviews. The owner was able to embroider names into polos shirts , and even into hats . He sent pictures via text/e-mail beforehand, and communicated thoroughly to make sure she had the right colors/ideas. I've come back for other materials I wanted to be embroidered/monogrammed, and whenever I was unsure of color/placement/design, he gave her input and suggestions. Also... her prices are VERY reasonable, with GREAT customer service. Working with IDC EMBROIDERY was such a pleasure. I needed a last minute item embroidered for my wedding. I was having such a hard time finding someone to assist me because the ribbon I needed embroidered was pretty thin. Our experiences with IDC has been fantastic. My daughter's Letterman Jacket is the Best. Quality materials, excellent customer service, and I had them embroider our school mascot as a custom item and they did an awesome job. Every additional patch my daughter won they have added beautifully. I am having her final patch added to her jacket and will be coming back to start my son's jacket as a sophomore.
