    Hummus

Came here for a quick snack while exploring Navy Pier. I only had the hummus. It was one of the smoothest and creamiest hummus I've ever had. Clearly it was memorable enough for me to write a yelp review about it to give it a high rating. YUM! https://yelp.to/p4GlEQGwdX

Falafelicious Pita w/pita chips: Great lunch if you want to be full but not feel greasy afterward
    Clark S.

Before heading into the Chicago Shakespeare Theater for a show, a group of us stopped into the Navy Pier food court and grabbed some lunch from I Dream of Falafel. All-in-all, this was a good experience! We arrived around 1pm, taking a table across the way before ordering. My ordering experience was done completely via self-service kiosk with very little staff interaction. I had a little trouble at first navigating the kiosk but eventually figured out how to add to my order. Once I placed my order and paid for it, I grabbed any drinks and sides I ordered at the pick-up area. Maybe five minutes after I ordered my food, the pita I ordered was ready. I ordered the Falafelicious Pita, off their Chef Inspired menu, with a side of pita chips. The pita had falafel with a spread of hummus, cucumber-tomato salad, red cabbage slaw, tabouli, and tahini. This was a great lunch! The pita was packed and the falafel was prepared nicely. The pita chips were the perfect complement, not greasy and had great crunch. I thought the prices were reasonable and I was perfectly full. I Dream of Falafel turned out to be a solid lunch spot on Navy Pier! Once I figured out the ordering kiosk, everything was very straightforward and the food was delicious and filling. I would come here again, no hesitation.

Good and fast service. All ingredients look fresh. Customer service was friendly. Easy to order. Lots of food for the price.

    Mediterranean Chicken Salad

This is my go-to spot when I want something "healthier" at navy pier. The Mediterranean chicken salad was delicious and filling. The chicken shawarma is cooked fresh with delicious spices. Lots of fresh veggies in the salad. The self-service kiosk is easy to use and the order was ready in only a few minutes! There is plenty of indoor seating here as well. This location is also combined with salt burger, which you can order items from at the same kiosk.

Falafel here was very interesting - visually unlike any falafel I've had before, much more crispy and dark in color, with a bright green interior - flavor-wise, pretty solid, texturally, alright; better than it looks. Service was friendly enough. All in all, it'd definitely do if you're hankering for Mediterranean food out on the pier, but it wouldn't be my go-to.

Liked the bowl that I got. I thought the serving size was generous and the flavors were tasty. The staff were helpful with bagging up my order. This is in a food court setting, so there's a lot going on. I was able to find seating fairly easily.

A good food at fast food is not that usual. The food was delicious. It's Mediterranean food chipotle style. I had chicken Shawarma plate with Rice chickpea and their toppings. With a good amount of hot sauce taziki and garlic sauce. The combination of all of these with their all toppings was very good. I just didn't like the owner, didn't care. If you just care for good Mediterranean food at navy pier go for it. And they are probably the healthiest food option at the NAvy pier. Don't forget to ask for some Pita bread, you won't regret :)

Burger was not too bad, very saucy which kind of nice. Fries were extremely thin and cafeteria like, not in a good way. Onion rings were above average. Cheese dip was very pleasant. Need to order from kiosk and took about 25 min to get food.

    A vegan dream up close

Oh My Goodness, I was in heaven. IDOF made my day when I saw that they had a vegan option called '' A Vegans dream'' and let me tell you it was. it was Hummus falafel with tabuli, chickpeas, cabbage and more topped with tahini sauce and it was fire. It came with a side of pita bread and it was just simply amazing. I think I paid about $12 for my meal but it was completely worth it. it was so delicious and I will defiantly get it again when I come back to visit. **The line was not long at all compared to other food places that they have there .

It was ok. On the pricey side. I got the vegan bowl. It was good but for $17 I would prefer to be full.

The food was delicious and every bite honestly was amazing we had the goat empanadas, the pita, and the shrimp salad. We shared between my mom and I and it was perfect I honestly wouldn't have changed a thing. We ended with the popcorn desert and I would say we had the perfect meal. I had the mezcal drink which was top notch, sun kid was good as well. I will say we did want to sit outside and they do outside reservations day of which I think is annoying to be from out of town and not know that, we planned this long ago for my birthday but besides that we got end bar seats and actually ended up giving up our table because they were better and we enjoyed watching the bar tenders. They also gave me a birthday ice cream which was a nice treat. We had great service, at the bar as well.

We were stuffed by the end of the meal and needed to pack a few things to go because there was so much food. Flavors were bold and complex for each dish. The veggies were all cooked expertly, my only critique is that some of the dishes were on the saltier side, so having a side like rice or a carb might have helped. Stand out dishes for me were the asparagus and the short rib noodles, which reminded me of jap Jae. The meal started off with some bubbles which was a nice touch and the staff had a great pace of the meal. In terms of parking, there's street parking around the area that's around $7 for 2 hours. Bathrooms were clean and had a dimly lit, mysterious vibe. Glad I tried it but it's not my favorite restaurant in Chicago.

Mezza [Combo platter including Baba Ghanoush, Hummus, Ta'ameya(falafel), Tabboula(salad): Our favorite was the Banana Ghanoush, as it was one of the most flavorful baba ghanoush I have had and contained a very good char. The hummus was a little more on the sour side, and the texture of the salad was refreshing. The bread was also made fresh and was refillable as well, which we appreciated. My friend liked the falafel, but I think it was a little too dry, and I wish they could increase the intensity of the spices to make it pop out more. The chili sauce helped a lot though. Cairo Platter (Kofta, Chicken, Beef): The Kofta is my favorite-seasoned, soft and tender. Out of the two times I got this, the chicken and the beef were not as moist/juicy-they were okay. Overall I wish they gave us more Kofta though, since there wasn't much of it, and the platter was on the pricier side. Shawarma Plate: The shawarma was tasty and the portions were good. I personally liked adding the chili sauce on top. Macorrona Bechamel: Our favorite dish. It tasted like Mac and cheese but the flavors are even more nuanced and complex. Very delicious and honestly we wished we ordered one per person . Overall I really like the restaurant, and I think some of the dishes were really well made, you just need to find them :). I hope the quality is more consistent as we will visit again.
