What would you do if there was hair in your food. The food obviously came from the kitchen to the runner and then to the server. Someone should be looking down at the food to prevent this. I discreetly told the server and she replaced it. Choked down some food and paid the bill. I didnt expect any special svs and i didnt get any. I love the food here but was very DISAPPOINTED in their Customer service. Previously YELP listed a Free Appetizer with check-in. My daughter checked in and we ordered steamers. When we got the check the waitress said they have no such offer and even checked with Dave, the owner, who said they would not honor it. They made me feel like I was trying to use a counterfeit coupon but it came from their listing on YELP! I have quietly reached out by email directly to Dave, as well as their "Contact is" link on their web site with zero response. They should have honored it, or at least responded with an apology to one of my multiple e-mails. read more

We went for a nice dinner last night and hit it just right at sunset! The buck- a -shuck bluepoint oysters were excellent and the fish and chips were perfect. The fish was delicately battered in a delicious crisp beer batter that did not overwhelm the fresh fish. So many restaurants crust their fish with too much batter and skimp on the fish but definitely not here. The standout is the quality of the fresh fish and food overall.. The chips were tasty and perfectly hot. My date had an Oakland burger and it was fantastic especially for someone extremely picky about burgers. The hamburger was generous and perfectly cooked medium with a moderate slice of ripe tomato and fresh green lettuce. If you are looking for a great burger locally...HERE IT IS!!!.My date had to compliment the owner because THE BURGER WAS THAT GOOD!! I cannot say enough about the attentive service with even the owner on site to make sure things run along like clockwork. Excellent view and ambiance. Great place for a dinner date. We had 14 people for dinner. We had a 3 yr old with us, who was promptly brought chicken fingers. Steph was our waitress and she could really anticipate our every need. The lobster bomb was "da bomb"!! And calmari appetizers went fast. Everyone got quiet when the food came out, yum. read more

Family visiting from California we're craving chowder and clam cakes . A mix of white, red and lobster bisque were ordered for the table with clam cakes which were all delish. With the favorite being the creamy white with the rich lobster a close second. Lobster and Fish and chips were also big hits with a large piece of light batter fish that was not saturated with oil. Server was excellent since we were a party of seven. Only complaint was the Cole slaw which was lacking any type of seasoning or taste. read more

Our first visit to Iggy's Boardwalk, very disappointing! To start - Waiter was great professional, helpful & accommodating. However, started out with a Martini (Kettle one) ordered it extra dry, straight up and topped. Waiter did his best to accommodate - told him we would pay xtra if necessary. As far as the food went - chowder was not hot - returned it & it came back a smidgen hotter - food was ok - not great.., Asked for our bill & was blown away- seriously- $12 for a Kettle one martini & another $4 for them to be topped - which they were not! We dine out all the time from Capital Grill - Chappel Grill - Avvio, this is the most Expensive Martini - not that cold, not full, not short cause we paid the extra $4.00 but not the greatest. So now your thinking all this over a drink - well we have one drink before dinner and want it the way we want it & has never been a problem. Very disappointing- Won't return.. read more

Really enjoyed my dinner this evening. I had been here over the summer and sat outdoors. Great experience. Tonight was the first time I had dinner in the new dining room. Very nice, casual, coastal feel. Food was TERRIFIC-beautiful fresh seafood. LOVE the Rhode Island clear chowder-big chunks of clams with a flavorful clammy broth. Shared a baked seafood plate. 2 baked stuff shrimp, nice piece of baked fish (delicious but this was a little on the small side) nice baked scallops with some lobster claws with a Stuffie. In spite of wishing for a little more of the fish, portion was good. Great fries and Coleslaw as well. Looking forward to the next time. read more

Although the whole belly clams were small-bellied(due to Mother Nature, not the chef) that were perfectly breaded and fried and juicy as ever. We sat at the gazebo bar out back on a perfect summer day. The bar service was fast and friendly even if the kitchen was a little busy this Fourth of July vacation week. They made the wait feel minimal. We split an order of the R. I. classic Stuffies and both got the award winning chowder- New England style of course. We sat at the bar. Service was good and the restaurant was hopping. I had the stuffed shrimp and my husband had the hot lobster roll. We both had the white chowder. The shrimp stuffing was very good, but the shrimp were overlooked and dry. My husband enjoyed the hot lobster roll, but would have preferred the cold - just personal preference. We both enjoyed the chowder. We'll go back, but I will order something different next time read more

Last night we went to Iggy's Boardwalk. We had a wonderful dinner consisting of Maine steamers; which were beyond amazing, baked scallops; sweet and tender, finishing with a basket of their infamous fried dough. Service was outstanding. In comparison, two weeks ago we went to dinner at a high end seafood restaurant, the cost was triple, the food was horrible. Lesson learned; one does not have to break the bank to have a delicious dinner out. read more

I've always loved Iggy's , however today was a disaster. We sat outside at their patio and started out with a pitcher of red sangria. The sangria was tasteless and watered down and the bartender tried to assure us that they do not adduce to the large canister that was pre made. We asked for new drinks and tried the margaritas. The margaritas were not balanced and bartender did not shake them but instead handed us both a plastic cup with Alcohol on the bottom and too much sour mix on the top. We ordered a few items for lunch which included snail salad. The snail salad was a bed of iceberg served on a salad plate with snail salad on top. The snail salad itself was horrible, it was snails and black olives literally dripping in otolaryngology dressing. My mouth is still suffering from how much Italian dressing was floating around this plate. I don't think I will be returning here in the future. read more

Have been to original Iggy's (next door) many times. Always consistent(very good).The new site (Boardwalk) is a tiny bit up-scale (From the older version)and well worth a try. Food and service are very good. Mostly seafood. Many other customers were having the 1.25 lb lobster and they were really chowing down. I had the Lobster roll. Delicious. My wife had the Fried clams. Also delicious. Don't forget to get the bread. Very special. Highly recommend. Can't wait for the summer weather so we can enjoy the outdoor seating on a warmer day. read more

I have to say Iggy's went above and beyond to make our lunch outing from an assisted living a big success! when calling to make reservations I found out they do not take them on a Friday but they made an exception because of their age and disability and also with having separate checks. They had our table all ready for us right as we entered ramp side so we didn't have to walk so far. Madison was our waitress she was gracious and patient on top of being very knowledgeable of the menu. The service was top-notch especially for being a table of ten. Everyone LOVED the food and was happy as a clam (no pun intended lol) we had white chowder (hot, creamy and delicious), lobster rolls with butter (big full chunks), Steamers, fried clams, and clam cakes which were wonderful. All our residents had a fantastic time, great food, great service and beautiful scenery! Thank you for your kindness! read more

My boyfriend and I were excited seeing all the positive reviews, but turned out to be a letdown. First, we didn't know there were three places together. We saw the long lines and said it must be great. After standing in line for ten minutes with coupons in hand, we were told we were at the takeout window. The coupons were for the Boardwalk, which was the eat in restaurant at the end. Once there, we were seated promptly. The waiter gave the specials. I usually order New England clam chowder, but the waiter said the clear chowder was much better. It was just clam chowder in clear broth. Nothing special. Since I was in New England, I ordered lobster roll. My boyfriend, who isn't into fish that much, order fish and chips. The lobster roll was tiny and the meat was very dry. I had better at Monmouth Seafood Truck festivals. The fish was overbattered and chips (fries) undercooked. To make matters worse, they put a party of eight ( 5 adults and 3 kids under 5) directly behind us. I could see if the place was crowded, but there were other tables. Nor did the wait staff ask if we care to move. Needless to say we finished our food and left as quickly as possible to get away from the shrieking children. We would have asked for a table outdoors except for the threat of a thunderstorm. My one positive note for Iggy's is their creamery. Staff was excellent and ice cream delicious. read more

Have been coming to Iggys Boardwalk since last year. My wife and I went there on a Friday night, weather was phenomenal and a very chill atmosphere. The food is consistently good and prices are very reasonable. The bartenders are attentive without being intrusive. The wait staff is good but need some mentoring. I only mention this because I watched one of the food runners/ waitress' do the bulk of the work running back and forth with food etc. She constantly checked with the bartenders if they needed anything. They could use more staff like her. Not sure of her name, but she is also a hostess there. Overall, it's a chill place worth checking out. We'll be back while there is still some summer left. read more

Ok....took a side jaunt to get lunch yesterday at the fabled Iggy's Boardwalk in Oakland Beach Warwick. I have eaten at Iggy's in Narraganset several times and was not disappointed. Long line on a beautiful Fall day....menu was good and the prices were actually less than I expected. I guess that is the difference between Narragansett ....tourist...and Warwick....a place where people live. So we spent 42 bucks on calimari, clams'scallops combo and baked scrod. Sounds yummy....eh? Got.....calimarin that was soggy with the coating falling off and apparently pre pre breaded. Yuck. My clam/scallop combo was not much better....little dinky bay scallops (farmed) with whole bellies. Same...soggy and and pre (frozen)? prepared. Yuck 2. My girlfriend got soggy barely cooked 'baked' fish with virtually no flavor and the consistency of jello. 42 bucks, lousy food. The quantities were good and the ambience was ...well...Oakland Beach. Pre-packed tartar sauce, no hot sauce and salad dressing in a little pre-packaged cup. I know that this is not tourist heaven but you ....Iggy's ...owe the people of Warwick much much more in terms of product. read more
