Since our old honeycomb blinds started to fall apart, all at once, like there was a timer, which we bought ca. 11 years ago at 3D Blinds, the worst company imaginable on so many levels you should definitely stay away from, we had a totally different experience with iHomeShutters. We needed a quick solution and David Ang accommodated our schedule, although that meant a lot of rescheduling for him, but he made it work, came more or less right away. His consultation was perfect, he did not simply try to sell the most expensive options. Now that the new shades are installed, we are very happy with the quality, looks, fair price and the very friendly service. All in all highly recommended.

Amazing service, quality and price for our window coverings. David was quick to respond to my query and had an in home consultation and quote which was difficult to beat from price and quality. Received multiple quotes and we went with iHomeShutters for the fair pricing and quality of service. David was knowledgeable and had come over the second time when we want to look at finish and colors as my spouse was not there the first time when he visited. Super helpful and knowledgeable. We went with brand name blinds that was ordered, delivered and installed in few weeks (3 or so) well within the promised time. Throughout the process David kept me informed on when the blinds were in production to delivery to installation. The associate who came to install was very professional and completed the install within few hours and we were very satisfied with the results. My parents and I absolutely love our brand new shutters! David was very patient and efficient in consulting and answering my parent's and my questions. He took his time in explaining the differences in the quality of the materials and made sure we were absolutely satisfied with our final selection. We also had shades installed for our family patio door, which we also love. The shutters took 3 months to arrive as their was a backlog due to Covid, which David had advised. When the shutters, came, David scheduled the installation within a couple of days. Have to also give kudos to Yayo, the installer. He is very detailed, and dedicated to his joband even offered to help my dad patch a part of our window sill that accidentally chipped and hung my bird poster back up I have referred ishutters to a few of my friends and coworkers. read more

David is literally the pro you need for doing your blinds, shutters, etc on your windows. My brother is a general contractor and when I asked him how to get my blinds done for my new home, he sent me a number and just said "Call David." Everything else went flawlessly from there -- great experience, great value on the shades, etc. David is better, faster, cheaper. That's a triple threat, I rarely come across that in business anymore. The fact that this guy gives a bunch of his profits to a charity that helps young, poor people achieve their full potential? I got roller shades done from IHomeShutters. At the beginning of the project, David explained all the options very clearly. It was going to be a big project, so we wanted to take the time to think though it. David was very patient in answering all our questions, over several days. The roller shades looked great when they were finally done. And they arrived within the estimated timeframe provided to us at the time of order. After installation, we had issues with a couple of the roller shades not rolling up fast enough. David promptly ordered replacements, and since it was within the warranty period, it was at no cost to us. Hunter and his assistant did an excellent job on the installation and Hunter took the time to explain how to use all the features with very useful tips on using the blinds. The installed awning works perfectly, and we are thrilled to finally be able to sit comfortably on our south-facing deck during the midday sun. Overall, a 5-star experience. My wife set up the initial consultation, and Daniel Dugan met with us. He was super easy to talk to, genuinely into what he does, and came with a lot of thoughtful ideas. His background in construction really showed -- he wasn't just focused on aesthetics, but on making sure everything was practical and well thought out. He also did a great job working within our budget. At no point did we feel pressured to overspend, and he was flexible in helping us land on a design that made sense for us. After putting together the design, he invited us into the showroom so we could see and feel the materials in person, which made a big difference in finalizing everything. One of the coolest parts of the process was the VR walkthrough using Oculus headsets. Being able to "step into" the closet and get a feel for the bar heights and layout was honestly really helpful and gave us confidence in the final design. Daniel was patient the whole way through -- never pushy, always willing to answer questions. Installation was easy to schedule, and the crew was efficient, respectful, and completely self-sufficient. We did run into a couple of minor issues after installation, but Inspired Closets handled everything quickly and without any hassle, which says a lot about their customer service. Wow wow wow! I am so impressed at iHomeShutters and their business and product. We ordered shutters for our entire home which is about covering 26 windows some of which are very large. Upon meeting David, we had an amazing first impression of him and his company. He measured all the windows extremely quickly and was very polite and considerate of our little girl and her sleep schedule. We immediately felt like we could trust David and his team with our window treatments as he was very professional and Freindly. We had been looking for an affordable window treatment and we are Sooooo HAPPY we found iHomeShutters. The shutters look amazing and our house looks so much better and so elegant. We had asked for a quote from Costco and they had told us that shutters was going to cost over $40000 so we had already given up on the idea of having shutters even though that is what we wanted. After speaking to David, he educated us on the different kinds of shutters and their pricing and how their synthetic shutters are stronger and sturdier than the wooden ones that we couldn't even afford. These shutters are sturdy, beautiful and stand the test of time and most importantly for us they are children safe. And it cost us less than $10000 to cover ALL of our windows. I recently had iHome Shutters come out to repair the shutters in my home, which had sustained a lot of damage after our house was rented out for six years. From the very beginning, they were extremely responsive and scheduled a visit quickly. Yeyo was the technician who came to do the work, and he was absolutely fantastic. He was not only super professional but also very friendly and easy to talk to. He took the time to clearly explain how the repairs would be done and also gave me detailed guidance on how to properly care for and maintain the shutters going forward. What really stood out to me was his politeness and attention to detail. He wore shoe coverings to keep everything clean, was very mindful about where he placed his tools and equipment so nothing would get damaged, and even took all the trash out when he was done. I have known this David Ang guy for over 10yrs. Had many different projects in the past with him (home remodel/design, not shutters). Doesn't matter what he does, he is a very perfectionist guy, which is good. It just means he will take care of the clients at his best. Very professional and responsive. Love that! Very courteous, friendly, and detail in sharing information and knowledge. He definitely won't rip you off. Just got shutters finally installed adding to 3 rooms. Very upfront with all the costs to make sure we know what to expect. Found his quotes are sometimes even less than 50% compared to the shutter companies like Hunter Douglas, Budget Blinds, or Home Depot. Clearly their overhead is too much. Shutter quality is very strong, with aluminum core to reinforce the louvres. Feel and look are super great. Might be weeks to get the shutters to finish production but it's all very much worth it with the cost savings, quality of the products, and the whole awesome experience. I usually never bother to put up some reviews, but this company is so awesome that I gotta say something...iHomeshutters got a smart solution for my bathroom..I always wanted it very bright in the bathroom, so I left all the windows without any coverings because blinds and shades or shutters would cover all of my view of hills and golf course..but I got to admit that it's no privacy from the cows, coyote, rabbits and some people who walk on on the hills..so I decided that we gotta have something...so cafe style shutters really is the answer...top is always open all the time..got all the brightness I want, plus the privacy.. and David is super nice that he added the frosted glass film for my shower door for FREE!! Yes, for FREE and I didn't even ask for it!!... my kids are getting older now and time for more privacy too while showering...price is very very reasonable especially with that kind of quality shutters ..and of course, that kind of service too....Yelp should allow people to put more than 5 star for super awesome people!! David came out to give us an estimate for just 1 window. Although his business is far away, he made the distance and provided various materials and recommendations. He is extremely knowledgeable and offers very competitive pricing. By the time he was done with appointment, we were so happy with his products and service that we decided to do 3 windows! Day of the install: promptly on time, super detailed, does not nail gun shutters, used actual screws so it can offer great window replacement if needed. Love the new look! Our son is super sensitive to light and the room is pitch black. In addition, he partners with World Harvest - 'No Kids Forgotten'. We get to partner with iHome Shutters in sponsoring a child from developing countries. It's a business that not only cares about customers, but about making a difference in the world! David was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain the various types of window treatments out there, the pros and cons of each, etc. We settled on a combination of shutters and shades, depending on which side of the house the window was on, and David then proceeded to explain the pros and cons of the various 4 types of shutters, as well as the shade options. Needless to say, he knows this world inside and out and was very patient with us as we ingested all of his knowledge and recommendations. (FYI, David was also great with our kids as well!) Just moved to a new house. Been without the window coverings for some time because of the money. I got several quotes from other shutters companies. The quotes were definitely out of my budget. Never knew shutters could be close to a thousand dollars a window. Luckily before I change my mind I found this company. Just to point out some highlights: I like the shutters so much, one of them is the one on this pic where theres a small but tall window by the front door where you cant really put any other window covering, except shutters. i like it so that no one from outside peek into the inside, especially with robberies happening. Nice and clean looking shutters for our home. The replacement shutter provides nice expansive feel to our living room and definitely add serenity to our bedroom. David installed shutters for our homes and it was amazing. David is very honest. There is no need to negotiate because the price is just unbelievable. The quality of the product is amazing. The installations were fast with great quality. David made sure the place was clean after the installation and no shortcuts were taken. David donates a portion of the contract toward good cause. The only drawback that I can think of is it took a while for the shutters to come, but definitely worth the wait. If you're looking for Shutter, look no further. read more

Finally!! Been with temp paper shades for few weeks. And now I can really enjoy my bedroom. With natural light too. Love the brightness (but soft) of the sunlight. It's uplifting.
