Since our old honeycomb blinds started to fall apart, all at once, like there was a timer, which we bought ca. 11 years ago at 3D Blinds, the worst company imaginable on so many levels you should definitely stay away from, we had a totally different experience with iHomeShutters. We needed a quick solution and David Ang accommodated our schedule, although that meant a lot of rescheduling for him, but he made it work, came more or less right away. His consultation was perfect, he did not simply try to sell the most expensive options. Now that the new shades are installed, we are very happy with the quality, looks, fair price and the very friendly service. All in all highly recommended.

Phase 3 - COMPLETE David and Kwang came out last Friday to finish the shutter portion of the project. They arrived right on time (11:15AM) and promptly got to work on the installation on the lower level of my home which consisted of 6 window shutters. These guys are very conscientious of every little detail. They remove their shoes when entering the house. They vacuumed up every piece of debris. They suggested we move the piano to make sure they had plenty of room to install without risking any damage. The job went smooth and they wrapped up by 1:00PM. Never really considered shutters in my apartment before, but after the amazing job done in my parents house by the company it was an easy sell. We had a great experience getting our shutters and roller shades installed for our new house. David was very professional starting from the quoting process to the point the shutters were installed. He explained to us different options that were available and educated us on the pros and cons of each . He kept us updated on the next steps via text and was able to accommodate the installation based on our availability. They also cleaned up after the work was done. So happy with our new shutters! We just moved into a new home at the end of 2017, and were a little overwhelmed by the amount of window coverings we would need. David did a great job of explaining all the options and pricing, and we ended up going with the plantation shutters he recommended. I could not be more happy with how everything turned out! The shutters themselves are gorgeous and so functional. My husband was worried about blocking all the light with the plantation shutters, but David offered us a split design that would allow us to open/close the bottom separately. Great service!!!! They were quick with the window installation and cleaned up everything afterwards. They had to move the furnitures for installation and did their due diligence of moving it back. They took great care of the furnitures while moving, making sure the walls and furnitures aren't damaged. Vacuumed the place before leaving. If you're looking for window treatment, I cannot recommend iHomeShutters enough. David was extremely helpful and knowledgeable regarding window treatments. We initially got a quote from Home Depot for 31 windows, which was close to $17k (a mix of cellular blinds and wooden rollers). We didn't even discuss wooden shutters because I know how expensive those would be. I'm glad I called iHomeShutters, because we were able to get an exact quote the same day for less than $10k! Best part, we were able to get shutters for the downstairs and the cellular blinds upstairs. I'll update once they install the window treatments. But it's been a top notch experience thus far. read more

Installation went very smoothly! We were easily able to schedule a time that fit our schedule and it only took a couple of hours to install shutters for 16 windows. David and his assistant worked quickly but they didn't cut any corners. I really appreciated that they used a small vacuum to clean up any mess from the drilling. Some of the fabric from the manufacturer ended up having a few issues but David was able to redo them for us. Needed an upgrade for my blinds. I called and greeted by David. He was very flexible with the scheduling and was able to come at my convenience. He gave a me a quote which I thought was very affordable. Service was very thorough and professional. He gave some advice on how to maintain the blinds. It was after the installation that I realized how good his products are. It feels very high quality unlike what I had before from the stores. Overall, very satisfied and highly recommended for those who are looking to get new/upgrade blinds, shutters. I say it's worth it to invest on nice blinds cause you probably just do it once. One of the coolest parts of the process was the VR walkthrough using Oculus headsets. Wow wow wow! I am so impressed at iHomeShutters and their business and product. We ordered shutters for our entire home which is about covering 26 windows some of which are very large. Upon meeting David, we had an amazing first impression of him and his company. He measured all the windows extremely quickly and was very polite and considerate of our little girl and her sleep schedule. We immediately felt like we could trust David and his team with our window treatments as he was very professional and Freindly. We had been looking for an affordable window treatment and we are Sooooo HAPPY we found iHomeShutters. The shutters look amazing and our house looks so much better and so elegant. We had asked for a quote from Costco and they had told us that shutters was going to cost over $40000 so we had already given up on the idea of having shutters even though that is what we wanted. After speaking to David, he educated us on the different kinds of shutters and their pricing and how their synthetic shutters are stronger and sturdier than the wooden ones that we couldn't even afford. I have known this David Ang guy for over 10yrs. Had many different projects in the past with him (home remodel/design, not shutters). Doesn't matter what he does, he is a very perfectionist guy, which is good. It just means he will take care of the clients at his best. Very professional and responsive. Love that! Very courteous, friendly, and detail in sharing information and knowledge. He definitely won't rip you off. Just got shutters finally installed adding to 3 rooms. Very upfront with all the costs to make sure we know what to expect. Found his quotes are sometimes even less than 50% compared to the shutter companies like Hunter Douglas, Budget Blinds, or Home Depot. Clearly their overhead is too much. Shutter quality is very strong, with aluminum core to reinforce the louvres. Feel and look are super great. Might be weeks to get the shutters to finish production but it's all very much worth it with the cost savings, quality of the products, and the whole awesome experience. The installations were fast with great quality. David made sure the place was clean after the installation and no shortcuts were taken. David donates a portion of the contract toward good cause. Finally!! Been with temp paper shades for few weeks. And now I can really enjoy my bedroom. With natural light too. Love the brightness (but soft) of the sunlight. It's uplifting. Installation process was really nice. They clean and vaccum the work area until it's even cleaner than before they came!!! Very professional and satisfying. Great job iHomeShutters.
