Good food, always pretty consistent. Service can be a little slow at times. Expect a wait on weekends.

Food is not as good as the Asheville location. Waitstaff can be overly exuberant or can be friendly and helpful. Host is the dregs (where it comes to friendliness) still not a bad choice in a place that's getting more and more choices every day read more

If I could take away the 1 Star I would. Staff is disrespectful, 4 tables currently being used and I've been waited to be seated for 20-25 minutes already, however others have come in and are sat before I'm even asked by the waiter. Bathrooms are dirty like a truck stop. read more

Worst service and management we have ever experienced. We always stop by ihop after football games and this evening was no exception. We were a party of seven...placed our order with waitress and then were ignored for an hour! No exaggeration...finally went to manager and asked what was going on...waitress forgot to enter our order in computer! Waitress argued with all involved...manager offered no apology and no recourse for our wasted evening. Very disappointing...not handled correctly...horrible customer service. Horrible...people make mistakes I understand...but at least offer an apology and free food or something!!!!! It was midnight so we left. read more

Very friendly staff that recognizes my 4yr old daughter every time we go. She really feels special going there. As far as food goes, it's breakfast food. I can't go all hipster-millennial and critique their lack of fancy-shmancy dishes or vegan options. The food is always prompt and hot, and the people are friendly. I never thought I would write a review, but we have gave this place too many chances. My quick advise would be to forgo the horrendous service and just order your food to-go. I was so excited to try the new holiday flavor pancakes so we decided to give this location a try again after taking a 6 month break because of horrible service. We walked in to be seated they were not super busy, we were the only people standing there. Several employees made direct eye contact with my boyfriend and I yet no one acknowledged us or sat us for well over 10 minutes. We joked with each other that we should have just leave and go to fire house subs.....spoiler alert WE SHOULD HAVE. To start off they sat us at one the TINY two person booths despite the fact my boyfriend is 6' 4", we almost got up and left but our waiter came around the corner and seen how uncomfortable my boyfriend looked and said we could move. He took our drink order, food order, brought it out and said we were being transferred to another waiter b/c he was leaving. We were never introduced to another waitstaff, our drinks were never refilled once, we never even seen another employee. We tried to flag down another waiter across the room but were ignored. By this point I just wanted my check and a box so I could finish my food at home with A DRINK. Have you ever tried to eat pancakes without a drink , trust me it's not fun. We waited an HOUR for our check to arrive...it never did. I have never walked out of a restaurant in my life, but we did. My boyfriend and I have both worked in the service industry and try to always give employees the benefit of the doubt, sometimes to a fault. It takes something truly ridiculous to actually make us mad. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK, and if I could give it less than a star I would. So if you really want their food get it to go or just go to the Asheville location and save yourself some grief. read more

Been to this IHOP several times. Decent service. This time, ran out of drink and never got a refill. Also, stay away from the country fried steak. Made with processed meat and does not taste anything like the real stuff. The manager was excellent when the problem was brought to her attention. Gave us 20 percent off. If there was a such thing as no stars that what I would have gave them. I'm on my lunch break there is one other person here besides myself and my coworker. I put my order in immediately and have been waiting 45 minutes and counting on a cheeseburger.... There is no excuse for service like this and when I ask the waitress about the status of our food she says nothing but uhh I'm new here with a frazzled look. How about you go see how much longer or give me a valid reason as to why this is happening. She has been out of sight the entire time. Please don't come here if your time means something and if you wants enjoy your meal. Such a joke! I would like to update this to be fair to the company after waiting another 15 to 20 minutes I had to leave to make it back to work so I called the manager Nicole very nice lady she told me she was very sorry about our experience and I have a gift card waiting for me up front. I'm not typically a complainer I used to be a server my self. She told me she would figure out what the issue was and would fix it. We have regretfully been to this iHop several times "trying" to get service. Each time we waited over 10 minutes for someone just to approach our table. And then after 10 more minutes still no drink. We have gone there several times in the same situation happens every time. I couldn't tell you how the food is because I've never made it to that. read more

First upon getting out the car there was mouse right outside your door. It looked like it was dying but upon trying to put it in a brown paper bag to dispose of it, it ran away. We then entered your establishment and was greeted by the host with " how many?" Not professional. We sat right away and the server greeted us with a " what are you drinking?" Again unprofessional. She took our order and was about to jet off when I asked her to repeat back our order (right before she got to us I heard her talk to her other guests about forgetting their sausages) and asked her name. She was really rude and dismissive. 20 mins later our food came. My girlfriend asked for cheese on her hash browns and the shredded cheddar cheese wasn't even melted. She asked for the plate to stay in the window a bit longer so it can melt. She took the plate and as I was about to start to eat, noticed we had no silverware. Asked for silverware. Got the silverware and noticed that girlfriends fork was dirty. Asked to replace that. Btw your bacon is super cheap which is another reason we won't give IHOP another chance ever. Waffle House has better back and that's sad. Anyway, ate the food. Noticed that most of the servers and a manager with a white shirt on kept glancing our way like if our server was talking about us. I've worked for restaurants for 11 years and know how the employees talk so I'm pretty sure that was it. Made us pretty uncomfortable. Finally got our check and paid and left. Terrible experience and I'm copying and pasting this to yelp, four square, Facebook and other social sites because this needs to stop and our rude server needs to be given a smaller section so she can actually serve the guests and instead of being so much in a rush trying to catch up or turn burn. This needs to Be addressed asap for your other guests sake. And for all the servers that should be reading this: don't be like her.
