Took my mother for Mother's Day and it was so good! Didn't have to wait and service was really good! I just had a cheeseburger and a mixed greens salad but it was really the best hamburger I've ever had in a restaurant!!! The salad was really fresh and had mixed greens, cucumbers and tomatoes! Topped with crotons and ranch dressing! Yummy!!! I would go back for the salad alone! Arrived for an early dinner on a Tuesday. No crowd and fast seating. Our waitress was friendly and polite. We ordered a Ribeye Steak with salad and seasoned fries and an order of wings to share. This is as some of the best service I've had in a chain restaurant in a very long time. The food was divine. Everything was cooked to perfection. The music was a little loud given we were there mid day. I ordered the 6oz sirloin medium rare and it was beautiful. I decided to take my salad with and it held up well. Came here from out of town and it was my birthday. The host wished me a happy birthday and the seated us in a booth. 5 minutes went by and a waitress approached our table and asked if we wanted beverages. We noted my birthday again and she said happy birthday and then took our water order and also took our food order. A few minutes later she brought our water and bread loaf with butter and left. My salad and my wife's soup was delivered fairly quickly. The onion soup had some garlic bread crumbs on it and the cheese was not fully melted. Her loaded baked potatoe and my steak was brought out a bit too soon because I was not done with my salad. The steak was done medium rare as requested. My wife and I had dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse tonite, the first time I've ever been in one of their places. Overall, I consider the experience overwhelmingly average. She had a sirloin steak, and a tossed salad, I had the 12 oz ribeye, ceasar salad, and mashed potatoes. We had margaritas to start, which were pretty weak. Her steak and salad were good. My steak was good, well seasoned and cooked. The bet part of the experience. I had ordered a glass of wine to be brought with my entree and had to chase someone down to get it after my steak arrived. The wine list was not even mediocre, like 5 low-end reds and 5 whites. On my way out I asked the hostess what they charge for corkage, and she had never heard the word before. She got her boss, who also did not know what I meant. When I explained that meant what did they charge to open a bottle of wine brought by a patron, the boss told me "Oh, that's not allowed in the state of North Carolina". Which is not true, I've brought wine into a number of better restaurants downtown, and when I Googled it when I got home I confirmed that it is allowed. Longhorn may not allow it, but they shouldn't blame the state. I doubt we'll be back. read more

Service was fast and friendly. We were seated quickly. The strawberry lemonaide was flavorful without being too sweet. The steaks were cooked to order, and the sides were yummy. *this is not a paid promotion* but after the service me and my received; I definitely should be paid or at least refunded. I am never one to "complain" about my dining experience. Unfortunately out of my 24 and a half years living, this longhorn HAS to take the cake. Not only were me and my mother waiting to be tended to. Their were multiple people that arrived after us and got tended to more than 5 minutes before we did. Arrived to longhorn around 8:30pm(close at 10pm) and employees were moving as if they closed in 30 minutes. Whether you close at 9pm or 10pm.. hospitality and effort goes a long way. Terrible. Waited 30 minutes at an empty bar and didn't get even a hello, let alone a menu or a glass of water. The service was mediocre at best. The real problem was with Monica the general manager and the kitchen. The ribeye that was supposed to be medium was medium rare and the NY strip that was supposed to be medium rare was medium. After asking for the strip to be recooked Monica brought the steak out and waited for me to cut into it to make sure it was cooked properly. It was Medium again. Pink all the way through. She then tried to gaslight me and tell me that it was a perfect medium rare. I've been eating my steaks medium rare for over 35 years and my definition and the description in their menu didn't match what was served to me. I will not be going back. As a steak place you have one job that you have to do right, cook the steak correctly. Everything else can slide a bit if you get that right. My spouse, sister, her husband and I went there for dinner about 5:30. It was not busy, maybe 1/2 the restaurant was full. We ordered wine and beer, waters and an appetizer. We received the waters right away. The appetizer came 10 minutes later. My brother-in-law got up several times to find our waitstaff and she kept telling us they're behind. We waited 30 minutes total, appetizer gone, we told a manager don't bother and we were leaving, get the check. He came back with the beer and wine, but at this point we Just wanted to leave. That manager was unapologetic. He said , okay bye bye, matter-of-factly. Bad service at a half full restaurant has no business being opened. I went to Longhorn with my mom and dad @4:30 October 28th. The restaurant was very busy but we were luckily seated without waiting. A gentleman served us and I have to say was the best service I've gotten at a restaurant in I don't know when. He was so attentive even though he was busy with so many tables. The food was delicious. All 3 of our steaks were cooked just how we asked for them. Salad was so fresh! I also love the ambiance and the huge steak knives. The most exceptional part though was our server. We had just arrived in town and needed to grab a bite so we came here. The service was nice, friendly and speedy. I had the salmon and the lobster & shrimp Chowder. We also had the mushrooms for an appetizer. The mushrooms were delicious as was the salmon and rice! The chowder was okay but not something I would order again. My husband and I travel A lot & eat out often. I'm not one to comment or complain ever , we have eaten at this Long Horn Location many times, but last night brought me here to comment . It was an hour before they closed, maybe 7 parties sitting down, we walk in and there's no one to great us for 15 min , we finally sit down a waitress walks order quickly takes our order , my husband orders a chicken sandwich and I ordered a French onion soup. The soup was ice cold , you could still see the cheese square shape. It would have been no big deal but our waitress is MIA , doesn't return for 15-20 min . Driving cross country I pulled off the Hwy. and after seeing all the standard drive-thru's it was a easy choice to park and walk into Long Horn. Very nicely laid out for groups as well as individuals like me. Sat at the bar and had my lunch. No alcohol just a great lunch experience. I ordered the house salad, Salmon and veggies. Perfectly cooked. To be honest the veggies we're too salty but that's it. I was waiting on the line and was this older couple probably around their 80s in front of us. And they asked politely the girl in the front to have their table but since they were waiting for 4 more people they couldn't . But he asked again to be sited (nicely) and the girl went to ask the manager . The manager (Monica) told them they couldn't get their table till their whole table be there bc it's the policy of the restaurant . What be honest I would understand with they are full . It's 2 pm and no one is here and they are two old person (around 80) she literally screamed at them (rude) and told them to wait . And In between this ...the rest of their table show up and the ladie was like (u sit down there and wait and I'll take the rest of the line ) and we said no they can sit first we are not in rush but she still rude and didn't sat them down . I dnt apreciate people that mistreated seniors I dnt care how "right" they think they are ! In other hand , our server was amazing (Graham)a blonde young girl ! She was lovely and really professional .. food was good besides the bread ! Wouldn't come back here ! After the way the manager treat the seniors. If it was possible to give a negative 5 stars I would .... I've waited to write this review thinking my mind would soften towards the following event, but it has not due to the blatant disregard our whole party endured. These severs were very nice, but all 4 steaks were presented cooked incorrectly and a young male- bearded manager came to the table to lecture us- 56-62 age group- like we knew nothing. All of us having previous kitchen and hospitality experience. It was insulting. Then when one man at the table said -"I'm not a dumbass..." the manager replied: "Well you sure look like one. " Our table all rose to our feet and left - paid for our drinks and left.... It was beyond insulting for all- yet the disabled US veteran who was beyond upset told them they would rather return to the Middle East and face bullets than to ever return to this establishment I think made an impression. This young man does not need to be a manager or to work with the public. Anytime your establishment is mentioned - my husband tells this account to warn anyone that the trickle down of what that manager ruined for our group, his staffs tips and reputation will never be recovered. read more

Wow. Much better restaurant than a year ago. The atmosphere and servers have really improved. I felt welcomed from the host and server. Once the food arrived, the manager came to our table to make sure everything was perfect. I dont usually order a $12 hamburger, but this one was amazing. Dinner with wife and client. Very disappointing. To start with, the hostess (a young black woman) wanted to seat us at first booth next to front door and bar. I asked for a booth further in the back away from the noise and cold air from the door. She turned without a word and huffed away, leaving us standing there not knowing what she was going to do. Only because I watched her go clean off a table in the back did I realize she was fixing it for us. Without any direction, we simply walked back there and sat down. She threw down some menus, left again without saying anything. Very rude. Finally, a waitress came to our booth. I ordered the small filet and it had a big grizzle right through the middle. I probably should have sent it back but did not have time to wait for another one. The "loaded" potato was hardly "loaded." A sprinkling of cheese and a few bacon bits was it. Then, after the waitress brought the tab (over $100), I decided a wanted a cup of coffee. She brings the coffee - with a separate bill for $3.20! With a $100+ tab you would think you could get a complimentary cup of black coffee! I found it insulting. Will not return. read more

Took a long time for our food, the server forgot some of outer side orders and gave us stuff we didn't order, asked if we'd like refills then never gave them, we eventually had to track them down. Ribeye sandwich was very soggy. Won't let you sit at a table in the bar anymore, have to be on a list to be seated now unless you are straight up at the bar. I always enjoy this longhorn steakhouse, and I am a regular customer. The food is dependably well prepared, and the service is consistently friendly and responsive. Today I had the enjoyable experience of being served by Cheyenne. I received excellent service myself, but I couldn't help but notice the positive exchanges she had with other customers and coworkers. She brought next level service and care without being overt or too familiar. I'd like to congratulate longhorn on an excellent hire. Honestly I feel that the staff could use "people skills, learning to smile wouldn't hurt" Rudeness is totally unacceptable!! Again the outlaw ribeye ordered medium was sent out rare. Our waitress seemed to disappear once we were seated. We flagged her down, she apologized saying she had been working all day very tired! As a couple we ended up eating separately! Not what we had inspected. No need to complain, management wasn't very nice last time. Excuse was "My staff is doing the best they can due to the Pandemic". That excuse is good for only so long!
