I was just treated to breakfast at this IHOP and had an absolutely wonderful time! Our waitress, Alana, was incredible and took amazingly good care of us! I got the avocado toast, which came with two perfectly cooked eggs on top of a perfectly ripe avocado that had been perfectly sliced atop some really high-quality bread. First of all the ANTS were EVERYWHERE, on the walls our booth, even our table. We spent most of the time flicking ants off the table. When we confronted the waiter, he stated they try to bleach everything but they wont go away. Once we got our food the ants bombard the table. It felt like we went to war with these bugs, ended up boxing everything up. When we got our check, our waiter attempted to give himself a 30% tip, which we clearly noticed. We were greeted immediately as we walked in and waited less than 30 seconds for a table. We waited with our menus for 10 mins before Nadine came over with a smile and asked if we had been helped. She took our order right away and brought my OJ and brought out freshly brewed coffee almost immediately afterward. While we were waiting for our food, I noticed Nadine going above and beyond for every table she served, as well as anyone that came in. The food came out hot and she even asked if the bacon was cooked enough. The restaurant was very clean and bright and although it was crowded for a Friday morning, the service was quick and the food was very good. Would definitely come back. read more

IHOP has several strong points such as generally affordable prices and senior discounts which unfortunately don't benefit me but hopefully one day will. Their strong suits are obviously their breakfast and brunch foods such as waffles and pancakes. I ordered their grilled chicken salad recently in an attempt to be more healthy. That might be the last time I do that at IHOP. There were so many browning pieces of Romanian lettuce that I felt like more than half the salad was inedible. The avocado was also forgotten. We will still come back in the future but alas, I will have to bring my attempts to eat healthy somewhere else. read more

TMobile or any customer using IHOP rewards beware! We have 4 kids...all 6 of us have a TMobile phone. We all got three pancoins for TMobile Tuesday. We all showed up to the IHOP in Bel Air, MD to have breakfast. The General Manager said only one reward per table. He refused to honor each of our rewards. The IHOP app says one reward per customer per day. He still refused. We never have trouble getting 6 sandwiches at Jersey Mike's or Firehouse but IHOP refuses. If we ordered online for pickup or delivery we could have used them all but because we sat down together as a family we have to pay for 5 short stacks and get only one free. It's your standard American breakfast diner spot. Like Denny's or Bob Evans. I think what's missing is that nothing quite sticks out in a memorable way at IHOP. But it's fairly reliable and comfortable perhaps for that reason. And if you like pancakes, you have like 4 choices of syrup at your table. You can even take syrup packs to go. That's pretty cool. Service was also decent but it was busy so understandably not the quickest. The sever seemed sweet though and everyone was polite. Good family spot. Probably something there for all ages. I think it's the oil or whatever they use when cooking the food... however my husband and Ihave eaten there once! We had planned to shop after leaving there. That wasn't possible as we were both very sick. The only Restaurant in somewhat fast food category worth getting breakfast from is, " Cracker Barrel". I have never gotten sick from their cooking. Eaten here three times in the last month. First visit for breakfast when first opened for the day. Too early, only one young lady out front doing a great job, of three people! Breakfast was very good and she was super! Second visit, breakfast with friends. Everything was delicious. Four very satisfied customers! Third visit, breakfast again! It's just a general IHoP. This location doesn't do anything extra that makes them stand out. I can say I haven't really ever had a issue with this location. The service is normally pretty good and they listen to directions for the most part. (Please make sure when I say to cook my turkey bacon for as long as you can, please do it!! =) This location is normally clean and stays pretty busy during the weekends. The weekdays are not as bad depending on the day. The only warning I would give is be careful in their parking lot that on each side. It's a fairly small parking area and when trucks park there it makes it even tighter so just watch out!! read more

We went the day after Independence Day and it was packed in the morning around 10am. Luckily, we only had to wait no more than 5 minutes before being seated. The stuff all wore masks but customers didn't have to do so. Our waitress was nice but you could tell they were overwhelmed with the amount of tables they had to work. The food took only about 10 minutes to be delivered to our party of 4. The eggs were a little bland and they didn't really cook it to the over-medium request I made. Pancakes were a little dry but the syrups made up for that. The waitress only check on us once so we were looking around for someone to help when we needed drink refills. Went here several weeks ago and the restaurant was cold to the point of having to keep your coat on. The food was also served cold. Figuring everyone has a bad day. I tried it again this week. The temperature in the restaurant was still cold, and most of the patrons were sitting with their coats on. I ordered the chocolate, chocolate chip pancakes. They were served lukewarm with frozen butter which didn't melt in the least. I ordered a small milk and was told that they were out of milk. This was at 11:30 in the morning. What restaurant is out of milk at 11:30 in the morning? There is a grocery store in the shopping center adjacent to this IHOP. So they didn't send someone out to purchase milk?? I have eaten here several times and the situation with the temperature in the restaurant is always the same. Receiving lukewarm food has been the same also. The waitress was EXTREMELY pleasant and nice and provided good customer service. The pancakes were good (come on it's IHOP). I felt like he was inebriated but could just be his personality. All the other customers were just trying to ignore him and dine but Mike spoke up and politely asked him to quiet down. I actually haven't come to an iHop in about 4 years. So coming here was an experience in itself. But came with a friend and immediately I remembered the iHop experience from the pancake smell. It was glorious and this place was bustling for a Saturday morning. We got seated pretty quickly within 5 minutes due to our party size and food was out reasonably. Food was solid nothing too much to mention but I will say the service was great. There was a ton of servers and staff to really meet the needs of the customers I felt. The other thing to note is the parking. There really wasn't a lot of parking in general around this restaurant so that was annoying. It's IHOP, so it's not like I was expecting a stellar meal. Ordered a spicy poblano omelette. I do love spicy, but it would be nice if they took the seeds out of their jalapeños. The server Kaley was very pleasant no complaints on the service, it's just what you expect when coming to get breakfast on a Saturday morning. The wait time was less than 5 minutes. A lot of the comments were that this place wasn't clean and I didn't experience any uncleanliness. My son used the restroom and even that was clean. My boyfriends family and I walked in to IHOP tonight just to grab some early dinner. Our waitress, Melissa took our orders and everything was perfectly fine. She made good conversation with us and then left the table to go do what she had to do. I left the table to use the bathroom (womens) and I saw Melissa snorting powder on the sink in the bathroom, she also had needles. It was probably cocaine because she came back out to our table with her head nodding, eyes barely open, red swollen hands, not able to stay still and didn't check on us after that for about 30 minutes because she was falling asleep at the back table and dancing around. She came back and we asked for boxes, which ended up taking another hour to actually get until we went up to the cash register and asked for them. This is absolutely ridiculous!!
