This is in a convenient place right off the highway or a state road. Entering the restaurant is your typical I-hop. Unfortunately the staff has a issue taking a picture of the place. So be careful yelpers. But the service was good and the crepes song with the protein cakes was amazing. The restaurant was kinda busy but they handled the service well. The selection of food was good and the quality for the price was worth it. This is a good stop for a filling and affordable breakfast. Clean restroom and easy access with large parking lot and lots of handicap spots also.

My husband took me to IHOP tonight. He got some breakfast food, while I got a BLT, fries, mozzella sticks and marinara dipping sauce. He gobbled up his food and didn't even need a takeaway box, while I ended up needng 2 boxes for most of my mozzarella sticks and half my sandwich. Not that it wasn't good, I just have anxiety when it comes to eating at restaurants and in front of people in general.  For a national brand restaurant, IHOP is pretty good and the staff is fairly attentive. We both got apple juice along with each also getting a water and our waitress was on top of making sure our Waters were full. I can totally see myself coming back, especially with the decent prices.

We decided to have our anniversary lunch a day late at The Brick House because my husband requested…read moreit and we both had the afternoon off work. The typical parking lot was fenced off so we had to utilize the street parking nearby. We were told to choose a seat and they'd be right with us. They only opened at 11am, at by the time we got there around 12:30 it was starting to fill up a bit already. My husband got the "in a van down by the river" cocktail, which I tasted, and we both agreed was delicious. For our appetizer, which we had never ordered one before from this establishment, we got the Wisconsin cheese curds. The sauce it came with reminds me of a good sauce for onion rings and was just as amazing on the cheese curds (it was called Sunny ranch I believe). We both got our usual entrees, my husband ordered a double smash burger and I got the atomic punk sandwich, both of which came with fries. My husband devoured his food, while my anxiety basically required me to wait until we got home to eat. I would definitely recommend stopping by The Brick House and grabbing a bite to eat. They have never disappointed us or the people we've sent their way.

Nice sandwich place. Our sandwiches were super tasty. Fry seasoning was excellent. But, not cooked…read morelong enough. A little on the soggy side. I should have asked for them to be crispy. Friendly staff. Enjoyable stop while traveling. Side note: Benton Harbor is a little more run down than St Joseph's

My husband grabbed takeout from here as a treat and I was excited because I hadn't been to Hill…read moreDistrict yet. He got a double smash burger, no veggies, sauce on the side and that came with fries. My sandwich, the Billy bird, also came with fries. The Billy Bird sandwich has turkey, tacos, American cheese, and their burger sauce on sourdough bread. While this was our first time here, and we didn't get any drinks since we got takeout, we had been here when it was still North Shore Inn. They were owned by North Pier Brewing Company across the street, so this restaurant has changed a bit when it comes to the menu but the ownership has stayed the same and the beers they offer are made by their own brand. Their cocktail menu has updated as well and you can take home their beer in 4pk can form if you'd like. Food was fantastic and I will definitely be looking forward to dining in one day to get the full experience. The poutine, bbq pork rinds, and soft pretzel all sound fantastic on the appetizer menu so all of those are going to be reasons to keep going back. I'll also be interested in trying the pickled gimlet and the Great Lakes transfusion (both cocktails). We shall be back.

In fairness, they did tell us it would be about 30 minutes since they were behind, but it was MUCH longer than that. The place wasn't packed or anything - maybe 5 tables on the inside that had people. So it seemed odd. Anyway - the beer was cold and the servers were friendly. My husband had wings and I had the brisket sandwich. The food was good. No complaints there (wish we got a bit more fries!). Just wish the experience had been a little smoother timing-wise.
