I haven't been to an IHOP in a long time, but was pleasantly surprised when we met up with some friends for breakfast here last Sunday morning. Our waitress was pleasant and accommodating. The place was packed with a line out the door when we got there a little after 10 am, but we were out of there within an hour, which didn't seem to be long in my opinion for 4 of us to have a leisurely breakfast. The food was good, served hot and fresh. They were out of a few things that our party wanted to order, but our waitress was already aware and made other suggestions that she thought we would like. I thought she handled her busy section and our table quite well. Would return again, they offer a good breakfast menu with lots of variety and something for everyone. read more

Me and a few friends stopped in last week and this really attractive black guy was bussing tables. We asked him for some extra creamer (even though we didn't need it) and he brought it almost immediately. His smile literally brightened are day. Seriously, super attractive. BE ADVISED the service here is abysmally slow, even for an iHop. We waited far too long by the "please wait to be seated" sign, and though several employees saw us, nobody bothered to help, or even nod a greeting. After 10 minutes waiting, we walked out. We've eaten here once before, and the table service was very slow as well. And just try to get someone to take your money when you're ready to leave...they've taken out the cash register so the overworked waitresses have to handle that, too. Terrible experience, we won't be going back!!! We stopped there for breakfast and as the man up front walked us to our table, we asked if we could have a booth over the table offered, he literally huffed, rolled his eyes, gave a huge sigh and said "I just can't...the problem is we're too short on staff!" Just as soon as we sat down at the table we didn't want, he seats everyone else at all the booths around us. People at another table asked the waitress how much longer because they had been waiting for their food for over an hour! They were told their food was just being started, they got up and walked out! A couple at a table leaving, walked past us and said "Good Luck". Our waitress told us AND a third table they only had 2 cooks working who were incredibly slow and she didn't know what they were doing back there. We kept seeing workers coming and going outside talking to other people, taking smoke breaks, one even brought a small child out of the kitchen. The music they were playing in the back was so loud that whenever someone came through the swinging doors it blasted through out the dining room. Once we finally we got our food 50 minutes from being seated, half of it was cold, the stuffed french toast was burnt on the bottom and tasted stale. Slow,slow, slow! And did I mention the coffee cups were dirty? The food when it finally came was cold. The waiter did take 15% off the bill for the time it took but that was the first pleasant thing he said. Went in sep 3rd, needed breakfast. Seated right away. Very pleasant server, got drinks quickly, checked back twice to take our order. A cheerful word as she went by. Food came faster than expected. Was correct, hot, good and server checked several times to make sure if we needed anything else. Definitely would recommend eating here. read more

If I could give a zero star review I would. This place lies about their hours, they told us multiple times over the phone that they would be open at 11pm for a friends birthday party.. We got there and the doors were locked. Guests in the restaurant, people being served food, and they refused a party of 15 service. Don't go here, they don't deserve your business. read more

Don't make my mistake by ignoring the one star ratings. Got my food surprisingly fast but it was not what I asked for. When I did get it, it tasted weird. 10minutes after leavin and getting home I was vomiting violently for an hour. I had food poisoning for 5 hours. Went in for the Anniversary special short stack. The pancakes are the normal IHOP quality. But the Bozeman staff was sadly under par. Tables weren't cleared as a matter of fact staff would just add dirty dishes to a dirty table. We were not greeted took almost 4 minutes to be seated (plenty of space..no reason for delay) Waited 7 minutes for our server to come by...although we saw them talking to each other and snacking in the back Folks go somewhere else..they dont want our business. read more

Waited over an hour for our food. Ok at best. The waitress was very nice and greeted us quickly and served our beverages but forgot to put in our order. Once that was straightened out only one order out of two showed up then ten minutes later here comes the second. The manager showed up twice blaming the waitress once in front of her but never offering a discount or a free cup of coffee. This place is a joke. We went there at about 11:00 at night after having a few cocktails. We had a sober driver but some hungry tipsy people. The waitress must have had something against one of my friends with me. She said she had a problem with my friend a couple weeks before so we all got kicked out. My friend proceeded to tell me that the problem the weeks before was that she was charged twice. That seems to be a legit reason to complain for me. I just don't think it's fair to reject a group of 5 people because of one person's previous actions. read more

Said he lost our ticket and now a big group came in and they are ahead of us. We said we were here long before them just move our ticket ahead and he could not do it. I've been to Bozeman iHop many times. The thing I like is they bring u a big pot of coffee for your table so u don't have to wait an hour for a refill. However... The place is always dirty and sticky. I know they have syrup but for God sake get some soapy water and wipe down a table. It grosses me out every time. Like I said, I like the coffee. Horrible! Place was dead but took ten minutes to seat us. Place was dirty aswell. They sat our party of four adults and two children in a small booth. Took amost 20 minutes to get our drinks and we waited an hour for our food. Did i mention there wasnt many people there?! When my meal came out my omlet was over cooked yet cold and there was shredded unmelted cheese all over. Would it have been that hard to melt the cheese? And i had to remind them i ordered hash browns... It sent back the meal it was so gross but took me another 20 minutes to do that because our server ignored us. My mother in law poached eggs where pretty much hard boiled aswell. I wont be returning. I recommend the same to any readers. Managment needs to step up read more

Arrived a couple minutes after the 6am opening time to a locked door. Then a waitress opened it within a minute after we pulled on it. So we decided to give it a go. The smell was not welcoming. It was dank and stale and a bit of sour food. We kept committing to our decision to give it a try. We got to sit by the window. Our waitress was nice enough, got our drink order (very expensive- $2.79 for 6 oz coffee and $3.29 for OJ). Not much for gluten free and dairy free and I started wanting to leave, but my husband was glad to see biscuits and gravy and our daughter decided to try a 'fit plate', so I settled for staying and ordered 2 eggs over medium that came out runny and 2 turkey sausages that were super salty. My husband liked his plate, though his eggs were also runny. Our daughters eggs were greasy and tasted as such, so much for "fit". As we sat there I noticed the tables all about are not cleaned well, syrup and residue. Since I had my own almond milk in the car, I took my precious 6oz of coffee out to my car and that's when I realized just how dirty the floors are. It cost us $39.89 and that's when we all came to regret staying and eating here. It was NOT worth that amount! read more
