Came here with my sisters today and it was not as wonderful as I thought it would be. We got seated right away and ordered our food. My sister got a philly cheese steak and my other sister got a chicken florentine crepe. The philly's cheese wasn't even melted and the onions were so sour. We didn't know that the crepe had mushrooms yet there was more mushrooms than chicken! The items were taken off our check but we're never coming back here again. read more

How ppl eat here I can't understand. This is our first time in this establishment and we decided to order take out since it was packed. We came in as our order was supposed to be done and still had to wait 30 mins for our food. 30 mins for breakfast food??? Then the whole order was wrong. The toppings on the pancakes were missing, no butter or syrup on the side. Pancakes were burnt on one side. Like you're a breakfast joint how the hell you mess up breakfast food?? This was beyond disappointing. First time at this particular IHOP and not planning on a return visit. Waited more than 40 min after being seated for our food... breakfast food... which in my past experience has never been the case. We were told on 3 occasions our food was "about to come out" and then when it finally did arrive, we were missing one item and were told again, it would be right out. After a bit, the manager came by to say they actually did NOT carry said item and apologized, stating the server was new. I asked the manager about our ridiculous wait time (others who clearly arrived after us receiving their orders AND leaving before we even touched ours). The manager said she was not aware of our complaints but she would make sure they were addressed. After speaking to her kitchen staff, the manager returned to our table stating she took care of our bill and we should not have been waiting so long. I appreciated the manager taking the time to speak with us and what not but damage was done. Today is my birthday and I had to spend about as much time at the DMV as I did waiting for breakfast at IHOP...smh. read more

It had been some time since we were here, and we were looking for something different for breakfast. Should have known what we were in store for when we were ignored while standing at the entrance waiting to be seated. When we finally get a seat, although there were others available, we got to share a table with a fire extinguisher near the exit. When our server arrived, as we had already had ample time to look at the menu, we gave our order. I was going to try the Spicy Poblano Omelet, which had a few pieces of shredded beef and no avocado. My wife ordered the Breakfast Sampler, which was supposed to have bacon, ham and sausage. Must have run out of sausage, as she got double bacon. The pancakes that were to supposed be included were forgotten, but were brought when asked. To compound this, it took almost half an hour for the order to arrive, and pretty much realized what to expect when the plate was cold. Both meals were cold, and when this was brought up to our server, it was met with a shoulder shrug and a "what do you want me to do" attitude. Normally, I would expect to be visited by the Manager, but this did not occur either. The check was put on out table, along with the to-go containers, and that was the last we saw of anyone. Not even a "Thanks for coming" as we were leaving. We would have left hungry if it weren't for the toast and pancakes. Needless to say, this IHOP will not get another chance. read more

My friend and I had breakfast there Sunday morning. Not a long wait, servers were wonderful, the food was fabulous (I had the steak omelet...divine!!!). I hadn't eaten at an Ihop in years, and while it's not close enough to be a regular 'go to', when we're in Clarksville it will be!! read more

I visited for the first time on Saturday Morning your restaurant in Wilma Rudolph BLVD, Clarksville, TN. I have to say that the coffee looked like tea and had no taste. I politely asked for a different pot and the taste was almost the same on the second pot. The smoke sausage I asked for was undercooked and cold I took a small bite and it was just awful. The hashbrowns were hot on the outside but cold at the center. The restaurant has a lot to improve and management should be more involved. This is the first time I had to write a review on my ihop experience. I also put this comments on your online survey. And the server didn't care to ask why I put the sausage on top of a napkin. Being new here I was happy about Clarksville having an IHOP...until I got there. The wait to even order was so ridiculous and there were 10 people tops in the dining area. On top of that, the waitress was rude, got mine and my sons order terribly wrong and then had the nerve to still charge for the food brought out that was NOT EATEN. After getting our right order, I had a long blonde hair in my eggs (I'm African american). I tell the waitress who gets an attitude with me and takes the plate back to the kitchen area and slams it down all while being very loud and making it seem like I lied about the hair...although you could clearly pull it from the eggs. All in all we never got to finish our food because I was so grosses out and pissed off to the point I could cry, had to pay FULL price for food I couldn't eat and food I did not eat. I will never return to this establishment and recommend no one else does as well. If I could give negative stars I definitely would, as even one star doesn't sit well with me. read more

My girlfriend and I went to IHOP on 10/19/16 around 10a.m. We had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated because the girl at the register had to seat people, answer phone and work the register. Once seated, we sat for about 15 minutes and watched people come and go. At no time did anyone stop at our table and asked us for our order or drinks even. Once other people that came in after us were having their order put in we asked the girl at the register if she would let our waitress/waiter know that we wanted to order, we sat another 5-8 minutes and saw the wait staff going from table to table refilling drinks, taking more orders, etc., but no one came to our table. We finally got up and left and when I gave the menus back to the girl at the register, she never acknowledged us leaving...guess they don't need the business! read more

Our waitress tonight was Jackie, if you get her, immediately ask for another one. As she comes to take our order, which ive seen her do this with the other tables as well, she sits down uncomfortably close next to you. I just never seen someone do that over n over, which would have been fine, if she would at least write down our order correctly. After taking our order she asks if we heard her name being called over and over, "they just wont stop", i didnt hear it but as i was waiting for our meal, i could clearly see why her name would even be called. She was nowhere to be found. I felt bad for the other blonde waitress there, she was moving fast, compared to the snail jackie. After waiting forever, It was the other waitress who ended up bringing our meals to the table. Not once did we get a refill, or was asked if we needed anything or if everything we ordered was okay. My order came out with broccoli even though i asked for corn. Never got our order or french toast or the pancakes that came with my nephews meal. Once she came and asked if we were ready for our check, i told her about the missing items and she just said "oh ok" with a look of "damn there goes my tip" but not once did she say sorry or say why. read more

My favorite breakfast spot! The people are professional and polite. All staff friendly and professional. They promptly greet you at the door. I asked for specific waitress: Katie very professional, friendly, knows menu and when I returned remembered what I ordered last visit,which is usually what get when I'm eating there. We should have left when the waitstaff argued about not wanting to go out and seat the people waiting (15 in the lobby at the time - one party of 11 that left after feeling ignored and two parties of two). The manager on duty counted out a change drawer and then was putting her bare hands all over food and "expediting". If that was her function she failed. I watched her pull food out from the lamps onto a not clean counter, then stack those plates onto food that was going to customers. My food arrived cold (omelette and pancakes) enough that my butter didnt begin to melt and my omelette cheese (1/8" layer by the way) had congealed. My wife ordered a side house salad. You could hear the cooks more than 10 times tell front of house staff to make the salad. Nobody would. Same amount of cheese as my omelette, but that was to hide the thick layer of chopped white onions. Her club sandwich bread was burnt, but the burned sides were faced inward. Luckily no thumbs went into our plates as (even though there were three empty booths when we arrived) our party of two was sat at the table in direct view of the kitchen. My wife made a comment that sums up our experience, "All I tayse is onion and char". The manager, went behind and appeared to be cooking when we were leaving, thank god our (cold, nasty) food had already come out. Never again. read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars. The service was horrible- waitresses were rude and far from attentive. There was long strands of hair in my food as well. No apologies or anything. Ok, I have eaten at IHOP & not had too many problems. I've been getting the cinnastack which is awesome. Last time I went I said next time I want to get the fruit creeps. It's a crepe filled with cream cheese sweetened & topped with strawberry glaze, strawberries, bananas & whipped cream. I was so looking forward to it. The waitress brings me 1 crepe, says it's a new cook & she will bring the other in a minute. There was so much strawberry glaze on it that it was dropping on the table, so I had to clean up that mess with no extra napkins. There was no bananas on it at all, but that wasn't that big of a deal. I cut into it & I bet, for the whole crepe there might have been a teaspoon of the sweetened cream cheese. I might be generous by saying a teaspoon. It had strawberries on the inside so it made it look like it was really full & I Had requested lots of filling. I showed this to the waitress who brought me a small saucer of the cream cheese. I had to ask 3 different times for napkins. I was soooo disappointed. I don't live near an IHOP, so I plan on going when I have to go to the doctors. I think I'm going to take a break from IHOP. read more

I just left this place and I can tell you that the service was great, but the food was beyond awful. I got the healthy choice egg white omelette with fresh fruit. When the plate came to my table, the "fresh fruit" was half frozen, half mush and had awful freezer burn. The omelette wasn't an omelette at all. It looked like a pile of scrambled egg whites with wilted vegetables mixed in, sitting in a pool of greasy grey liquid. I asked if I could see the manager, and imagine my suprise that the manager was the same guy that delivered my food to the table. The manager saw this awful food come off the line, and he still delivered it to me. He did offer to remake everything, but I declined. Why would I trust the manager to fix a problem that he was to incompetent to fix in the first place. I will give ihop another chance because the food on the menu looks great, I just won't ever return to this location. read more

Today I had the unsavory experience of eating at the International House of Pancakes. I had eaten at the IHOP a little over three months ago and the food was delicious, today I ate there and the food shrunk, not to mention it's smelled like there was a wet dog somewhere within my vicinity. The waitress must've forgotten about us or had to fight crime somewhere far away from us because we are forced to go to someone else to get silverware and then almost forced to get refills from someone else. It had been so much time that when she came back she had a small child in her arms, I jest it hadn't been that much time but she did come back with a small child in her arms which was extremely unprofessional, unless of course they plan on opening up a baby care center in the back. Regardless to say I will not be dining there again and will only recommend IHOP to people with whom I have a deep rivalry with. read more

i went here. they literally have the WORST customer service they could EVER have. like i went here for my moms birthday. and she could tell you herself that's the worst birthday brunch she has EVER GOTTEN. i had to take her right back home when we found out that she had gotten FOOD POISONING. like this stuff should be tested. also when i ordered, they gave me EVERYTHING WRONG. from my drink to my food everything wasn't right. i even asked for sunny side up eggs but guess what?! i got SCRAMBLED. and when my brother got his wings; they were COMPLETELY raw. the inside wasn't even CLOSE to the right color. and you want to know what they did in return? they tried to give him a milkshake. LIKE THATS GONNA DO ANYTHING LIKE HE ALREADY ATE LIKE 4 WINGS. ALSO HES LACTOSE INTOLERANT AND THEY STILL GAVE IT TO HIM EVEN WHEN HE DENIED IT. and when he said he didn't want it they were SO rude about it. they literally said 'well there's nothing we can do about it because we've already made it so good luck.' not to mention they made us wait 40 minutes outside to get our table, and another 40 minutes just to get wrong everything and also they made my brother wait an extra 10 minutes to get his RAW WINGS. i should receive amazing senior citizen service because after all i have been ONLY the best to this restaurant out of over 4 years i've come. and you still treat me like i am a baby?! like seriously you don't have to speak to me like im a DOG. so next time i come here- actually i'm never coming here again even if my life depends on it because it's not like i have much more to live! honestly you youngns should NEVER come here EVER AGAIN! Arrived at Ihop on 01/28/2018 at around 2:15 and the was no one to seat us or the other folks that were in there waiting. Waitresses saw all of the people waiting and just looked the other way. Finally after waiting to be seated for approximately 10-15 minutes a gentleman who was obviously a cook (pancake batter on his clothes and pant) took the initiative to start seating people. We were than seated and waited about 10 minutes before the waitress came to our table. She took our drink order brought the drinks back to the table and took our order. After waiting for food for about 30 minutes the waitress came to the table and told us that our food would be a little longer because she put in 3 tickets at the same time. 15 minutes go by and she brings out our food and half the food was missing. She said that she wanted to bring out what was ready so it would not be cold. I immediately took a bite of the hash browns and they were COLD. When she brought back the remainder of the food (about 5 minutes later) I told her they were cold so she took them back to get fresh hot ones. About 5 minutes later she brought out the hash browns. I did not eat them for fear someone may have done something to them for complaining. We asked for a box and the check, paid and then left. The waitress claimed the problems were due to being busy, but I saw 4 waitresses and they were only seating folks on the left side of the restaurant and no one was on the right side. I have been to this IHOP approximately 3 times in the past 5 months and the service has sucked every time! Will not go back and recommend you don't either. If your the owner I would definitely look to finding a new manager ASAP! read more
