Staff were very nice. This place has really gone downhill. Very dirty. Greasy floors, table not cleaned, ants on the table, and fruit flies many stuck to grease on the walls. My husband was wondering how they passed inspection. read more

I ordered from DoorDash. I ordered the Belgian waffle plate with scrambled eggs and two pieces of turkey bacon. What I received was two pancakes and two not fully cooked pieces of turkey bacon. the only thing that was correct was the scrambled eggs. And just an extra tidbit, they didn't even send me a straw for the milkshake I ordered, but I suppose I should be thankful they at least got the type of milkshake correct? Needless to say I will definitely NOT be ordering from them again. On a positive note, DoorDash was great! when I called to talked to them about it they offered to have someone go back to get the correct order or a full refund. I chose the refund. Kristian was our server and was very professional. She got me salsa and sour cream for my egg white omelette. She made sure my friend's vegetarian meal was not contaminated with meat products. The coffee pot was always full of coffee. The food was delicious. We both had finished yoga that day and were looking forward to Ihop. We were expecting a lot after coming back to the US after being overseas for a few years now our expectations of this place are below the floor. We waited an entire hour to be seated just to find out they scratched us off the list when we asked why no one gave us an answer.After another twenty minutes they found us a seat and we ordered. Food took 40 minutes to arrive 40!!! Than when we received the food it was simply mediocre definitely not worth the wait by that time we were just ready to leave. The inside is old and needs to be updated. It's sad that a IHOP that's in the middle of everything, would look this bad. The employees were friendly and very attentive. Would not suggest this place to anyone. Poor management with lack of staffing and staff that doesn't care. When we went in we were told we would have a 15 minute wait despite the fact the place was half empty on a Sunday morning. While we were waiting someone came in and said they had a party of 13. The hostess grimaced and told them it would be an hour wait. You could tell she totally made up that wait time because she didn't want their business. Anyway we finally were seated and waited some more. No one even looked our way for another 10 to 15 minutes. No notice. They avoided our table. My daughter and her friend wanted to go to dinner this weekend at IHOP. I said ok. Upon arriving at this location, you walked in and it had a weird musky smell to it. We stood at the front lobby area for several minutes because we understand that some businesses are having issue with staffing. At least 4 employees walked by us without acknowledging us. This has got to be the worst IHOP! Not sure what happened to the Madison Street location. But, I can guarantee this IHOP will never have my business 1. Placed a curbside order and received both email and text with a link to select upon arrival. I arrived at the curbside, opened the text and selected the link, but it errored out saying the order was already picked up. Impossible- I didn't receive anything and just got there! I waited like 5 minutes, no one came out to greet me. So I parked in their to go parking stalls. Told her why I was there and that I had been sitting there and waiting for over 20 minutes and been calling. She checked the phone to find out someone had taken it off the charger and had it on so that they will not have to answer it!!!! The hostess went over to the "curbside" order area to get (appeared to be) yelled at that "they should be picking up out there" pointing to the parking lot. The hostess brought over my bags and appeared to be dazed and confused and just tried to apologize to an upset customer. Having to take the brunt of my wrath & it wasn't her fault! This is bad management, because that is whom should have brought over to order to me. 2. Most of the food appearance was about normal except for the "Belgian Waffle" and the strawberry & bananas pancakes. Normal Belgian waffles are thick and round form...not this one! Late night customer here 1:20AM Walked in front door, there were other customers in here, but I stood at front desk for approx 10 minutes then went in search of hostess/waitress, came around a corner and saw waitress bent over counter, back to the entryway, and with her face in her phone. Ordered Grilled Chicken Caesar salad. It was served over mixed greens instead of romaine and Caesar dressing came in packets which actually tasted more like Thousand Island. Grilled chicken was warm and tender and it came with avocado. Actually good if you just wanted a regular tossed salad. There was basically NOTHING Caesar about it! Dear IHOP, get your employees off of their damn phones and train them to care about your customer service. read more

We had stopped going to this particular IHOP because they always burnt the pancakes - and the service was bad, even by new Covid standards. But, it had been a while since we were there so we decided to give it another shot. We knew they would be short-handed, so we thought stopping by at 5:00 in the morning should be okay. And it was. We were in the very capable hands of Wes and the cook, the only two employees on staff. To cut to the chase, we had the best breakfast we've had there in years. The coffee was strong, the bacon was crisp, the eggs were scrambled perfectly and (drum roll, please), the pancakes were excellent! Wes was pulling double-duty by helping in the kitchen and still gave us very good service. We were very impressed, especially since we weren't Wes' only customers.
