Once again this place disappoints. I ordered breakfast today using UberEats and was told it would be a 25 minute wait. No big deal. We get to the restuarant and the app tells us the order is ready. I go in and the lady up front said that the order wasn't ready yet, without checking, yet there were multiple bags in front of her. I tried to look at the receipts on the bags and she wouldn't allow it and told me it would take an additional 20 minutes, bringing the overall time to 45 minutes for basic breakfast items. I sit with the other waiting patrons. Other delivery drivers showed up and were able to get their bags of food without delay. Eventually a driver showed up and that was when the lady up front announced each waiting order and mine was there the entire time, when she said it wasn't. She was nasty and rude. Inconsiderate of my time and I am writing this because this isn't the first time. There is always something wrong with the orders coming out of this IHOP. Cold breakfast once again and perhaps never again. read more

Terrible customer service. Food came late and cold. When we spoke to owner she was very dismissive and disregarded our feelings. I'll never go there again. We went to Ihop because it was my son's 5th grade graduation and wanted breakfast after the ceremony to celebrate. First we waited 20 minutes to get sits, second we waited 35 mins for our food, my husband had to go to the back to check on the status. Third when we got our meals, they were cold. Fourth when we got ours plates my son didn't get his and when we asked for his meal it was on another table getting cold. So we wanted to speak with a manager or supervisor. Some lady, I believe the owner, only defended herself, she didn't even consider our feelings and how stress we were. She said "well no one else is complaining, you are the only ones complaining today". Come on be courteous and kind to your customers and take a customer service 101course. I'll never, ever go back and don't recommend this IHOP, better off at a small diner or Denny's which we always get good courteous service, even when they mess up. not really much to say about ihop. we arrived very early in the morning on a weekday so it was pretty empty. quincy met us at the door and seated us. he was super cordial and fast. ordering and receiving our food took less than 10 mins. food was just okay. i ordered a "steak" omelette. never had one there before. wasnt great but not horrible either. service was the best thing about the visit. zero complaints. read more

Went here last night after a Halloween party and the manager was awesome! Jasmine I wanna say her name was ? She was amazing very very accommodating and kept checking on our table she went above and beyond for our table! There was 6 of us and she took our order didn't write anything down and got it all correct! And It wasn't easy orders 3 of the 6 of us had build Your own breakfast asked for extra home Fries or well done or over easy eggs and that kind of stuff like I said she got everything correct! 5 stars for her Bc she made our trip to ihop awesome! I've been to several diners and other IHOPs in the past but I have to say that this particular IHOP cannot compare to any other IHOP. At the East Brunswick IHOP, the food tastes better, the servers are more friendly, and the atmosphere has been more electric than any other IHOP or diner that I've ever been to. 5/5 there's something magical about this IHOP fam, would super highly recommend read more

Food came out quick and good sized portion. AC and fans were cranking. A little chilly but not unbearable. Children enjoyed it as well.

Food is always good, and so is the service. New York Cheesecake pancakes are delicious. Only complaint is the woman with short blonde hair at the counter. You can hear her yelling at the workers and that kind of dampers your meal. It's happened several times. I usually ask to be seated in the back so I don't have to hear her shrill voice. read more

I had the misfortune of going to this establishment. We had horrible service, having to explain to the server several times to bring out our complete order. Then as the food was brought out, a cockroach was crawling on my son's plate. I immediately called the manager and who was of no help and just stood there saying sorry as I left with my kids. Then to add insult to injury, the franchise owner - Joan - called me to "get my side of the story" and went on to argue with me as to what actually happened. She kept on saying how they have a contact with an exterminator and they receive services 2x month and that they had a clean report. That great and all.... but I would never step foot in that place again. This place is dirty, unsanitary, and the health department will be receiving a call to address this matter. read more

Disgusting. Ordered chicken Florentine crepes, and the chicken was inedible. I would not even feed it to my dogs. When I complained about it to the waitress (SHE was very sweet) she went back to the kitchen/manager.... When she return she said the "chef sends his apologies". The bill was not adjusted, I was not offered a replacement dish, nothing was done to actually correct the issue at hand, which was that they were serving chicken with a rubbery texture that made me almost vomit the second I put it in my mouth. Went to breakfast with my daughter on Sunday morning, it was very crowded but we were seated very quickly. The Hostess Joan was very concerned with our customer satisfaction and even upgaded us to a bigger and better booth and instructed our waiter to take good care of us, which he did! I think I hop is really popular place for breakfast and its alright don't get me wrong.. I barley go unless my friends are the mood to go.. Last time I went not a really friendly waiter seemed really bored and not to happy... Tried to smile a little to cheer him up.. I don't think being a waiter or waitress is for everyone.. Went there last night to eat. It was around 7pm wasn't very busy. Our food was gross. I got eggs and stuffed French toast n white toast. My eggs were way over cooked taste like rubber. The waiter forgot my toast and never came back to our table to see how everything was. Then when I was just about done he brought out my toast and was like I knew I forgot something. Yea 20 mins later buddy!!! Never got a refill for our drinks. I never ate the eggs I only ate the French toast. We do not plan on ever going back. I'll stick with the colonial diner down the street. Ok so I went out after shoveling snow for 3 hours and this place was one of the very few places open after the storm of 1/4/2018. Nice enough people there and they work hard. Food was good especially under blizzard like conditions of this day, BUT I have to report them for charging the wrong sales tax rate. I informed them that as of 1/1/2018 sales tax in NJ is now 6.625%, why I had to be the one to tell them, 4 days into the new year, at a place that is open 24 hours a day, and a national restaurant, is suspect. Spoke with the manager, she told me there was nothing she can do. Nothing she can do!? Yep that was the response. I pointed out to her that, while for me it came out to only a few pennies, this place was full. Hmmm, nothing she can do she says. Really? What about pulling out a calculator and making sure your customers don't get screwed. Again this certainly isn't about me paying pennies more, I actually only paid what was due so I'm fine, it is about overcharging people and over 4 days into the new year at a place open 24 hours a day, well that adds up and that is tax fraud. Nothing she can do, well maybe that was true from her math capacity - remember the calculator suggestion - but to the owner of this IHOP, let me tell you, the Nj Division of Taxation will need a better answer. read more

This is not a review of this store in particular but rather a review on iHOP's policy for Internet access to their website or app. Apparently IHOP is against people who are from China. My mobile phone is using cellular service from China as I do business there. I am on a business trip to the Brunswick area in NJ.... when I access the IHOP site using APP or through mobile internet apple Safari browser it says that CLOUDFLARE (their ignorant and apparently racist IT company) has blocked access from service providers in at least China but I imagine much more than that. Perhaps IHOP corporate does not know this (I hope) or they purposely have cut off access to Chinese people whose mobile provider is from China. What a dumb and stupid move. I have over 20 people on this trip from China with me and we were planning to go to IHOP so i wanted to look at the menu.... now I can't do I won't be given no my business to IHOP. Stupid stupid move IHOP! Take the easy way out by banning IP sets instead of making your firewalls more intelligent! Cheap way out but might actually cost you more in the long run by alienating potential customers! At least this $500 menu bill won't be going to your restaurant! read more

I wouldn't give them even 1 point. I have signed up on Ihop website since 2011 and I always get a free meal on my bday when I show them my driver's license at any other Ihop locations Never did I have to show any coupons for that. It my bday last week and I went with my husband to this location. Our server had a bad lisp and right from the beginning showed reluctance to honor their policy of giving free meals on birthdays. After I asked for the manager twice he got a lady who was equally rude and harped on the same tune that without printed copies of coupons they cannot give any birthday free meals. Never once they asked to see my driver's license!! We were so disgusted we walked out from there and over to Denny's near by. As usual we were royally treated there. At Denny's when we told them it was my birthday not only I got a free grand slam but they never even wanted to see my driver's license. #neverreturninghere# read more
