I have been going to this location with family since very long time. Very nice customer service. I usually get their soft cream cheese stuffed peach crepes, but on recent trip they informed us that they stopped putting cream cheese in it and yet charge full price for it. I don't know if i'll be going back if I can't have the crepes. I still recommend you try it out, it's better than McDonald's. read more

I've been here many times and never had an all-out terrible experience. Unfortunately, yesterday (2/19) was the worst experience I've ever had at any 'restaurant', period. The food came quick, but my eggs were raw (not 'over easy'. Raw), my wife's burrito/omelette had cold, wet hash-browns inside of it, and a lot of things were missing when it came (salsa for the burrito, butter for the pancakes, syrup, salt, pepper, and more). Nothing was at the table, literally at all. No napkins, no shakers, no anything. And then I had to ask a manager and 2 different servers to get the butter before the pancakes went cold. Unfortunately, they came back 5 minutes later and the butter wouldn't even melt because of how cold everything had gotten. It was already only nuke warm when it came out, with hot spots and cold spots like it had been microwaved, especially the hash browns on both of our plates. So by the time we got the rest of the stuff it was supposed to come with, it was all cold. The seat we were sitting on was falling apart. I almost fell onto the floor when flagging down a server because the seat wasn't secured and came off the floor. Server's never came by, not once. I had to flag each and every person down, and no one checked on our food, despite our server walking by and looking at us (but not stopping) several times (as well as the manager). One time, she even took a step towards us, then suddenly backed off and didn't say a word. When leaving, the server finally asked if it was good. We explained the problems very calmly, and she said that's unfortunate, but still handed us a full bill. I have never asked to see a manager, but I felt I had to here. My stomach is literally still churning as I type this from a bathroom at 4am. The manager came by, the server told her 'the food was cold, they want a refund', as if that was the only issue. Without saying a word to us, and with her back to us, she swipes a card and takes $5 off the total.... That's it. None of the food was good, and my wife had to go and try to warm up the burrito at home, but it was still disgusting and had to be thrown out. So we paid for food we couldn't eat because it was undercooked, and no one even acknowledged it. Everything else could have gone wrong, if only the food was edible. But it wasn't. This is the first review I've ever written on a restaurant, because I'm no yelper. But I felt like this experience was so bad, I needed to share it. Down the street, there are plenty of local breakfast shops that are actually good, and are the same price if not cheaper. Anne Sather's is great, or the Honeybear cafe. But don't make the mistake of going to iHop in 2022. read more

Worst IHOP I have ever been to. My daughter and I went and it was not even that busy. Took them long to seat us and once they actually did, took even longer for them to take our order. I was really looking forward to visiting an iHOP after such a long time. While this is a great location with friendly staff and good food, I was a little disappointed in a few things. Thus, the 3 star rating. First, I wanted steak and eggs with hashbrowns. There are no subs, so if I wanted that I'd have to be jerked around for extra moola. I see no reason why they can't sub out a few things. Does it really cost more to sub out a pancake for hash browns? Or how about a piece of toast for one of those pancakes? This kind of thing makes me want to start a rebellious restaurant that lets everyone sub whatever they like. I hate the idea of basically feeling like I'm being told what to eat. I know I can choose what I want, but when you're gonna charge $2 for 2 pieces of toast, it kind of makes it idiotic that you can't sub out one of those pancakes. I mean, is it gonna kill ya? Anyway, due to the hash brown debacle, I ordered the sirloin tips instead. They were tender and really not bad, but I disliked the sweet flavor they had. The last time I had sirloin tips, they were not sweet at all. Don't know what that was about. Also, the meat kind of seemed like liver -- at least the consistency of it. Kinda grossed me out. The scrambled eggs, however, were divine. So were the pancakes. And so was the service and staff. I'l go back, but next time I'll just order the steak and splurge on the hash browns. The worst IHOP I've ever eaten at. Eggs (supposed to be overeasy) were over cooked in the middle but still a little runny and were served cold and just looking at the plate with a quarter inch of oil almost caused me to belch. The cutlery was dirty as well as the service. It was overall gross! Maybe you have to be drunk for it to look decent but for brunch or breakfast a true mistake. Don't get me wrong, I've been to other IHOPs in other parts of the US, but this was ridiculous. I'm sure that if they got a health inspection, they'd have trouble passing. read more

We like IHOP. The food is good for the price and I can and will eat breakfast food at all times. This location is clean, with friendly staff, and consistently good food. I'm all about breakfast food, but we're also huge fans of the appetizer sampler plate. How do they perfect those mozzarella sticks? One side note, this location has recently been hiring a lot of younger staff that take longer and stumble over order. Other than the fact that they make me feel ancient, these are kids there to learn! Everyone needs to start somewhere, treat them with the same respect as any other server. read more

I know it's not the Ritz Carlton but next time I will call ahead to make sure they have silverware. Ate there today (Thanksgiving) and they didn't have clean silverware so the waitress gave me and the wife pre-packaged plasticware. Hey, at least we get to keep the plastic ware, also came with salt and pepper, yay! Food was great, we didn't get water, although we were told about water a couple times. They didn't have any big glasses so the waitress asked if we wanted small glasses, and then she just didn't bring any, weird. So bring your own water too maybe. But they did have hot sauce. Also my wife wanted to order off the kiddie menu and they wanted to charge us an extra dollar for that...she is kind of short so what was the big deal really, it's not like the cook knows what's goin on out there. I did take like about four coffee creamers though as a tax for all the inconvenience but the creamers popped open in my jeans later so probably won't do that next time. I'm not generally a big IHOP fan. I've found it generally to be generic unoffensive food. However, my partner David and I go there regularly on Saturday mornings. It's clean, service is quick, and the food is good American family restaurant breakfast food. The pot of coffee at the table is very nice. What is amazing is the staff. They are extremely friendly and courteous, and nice. No "attitude" what-so-ever. Makes going there a great way to start a weekend. read more

Excellent service, reliable food and great hours. The waitresses are always incredibly friendly and helpful. On certain nights, the food is made especially well. We asked who cooked it, and we were told Mario and Jesus cooked our meals. Kudos to the chefs. Our vegetarian omelette had the spinach wrapped perfectly, as though it was an upscale restaurant downtown. It's rare to see that level of care and quality in an IHOP. I go to this ihop all the time with my wife at night time they are open late i think they open 24 hrs I just recently went there and i ordered the 2-2-2 2 eggs, 2 sausage and 2 bacons i dont know what it is but it taste good to eat breakfast at night time and because this place is always open. This IHOP and I have a really bipolar relationship. I've been going here since I was a Shorty and I've had some good experiences and I've had some really traumatizing experiences. Overall the place is good they're fast when it comes to giving you your food but the downside to that is sometimes your food is it cook the way that you want it to be and you have to send it back usually they do it without an attitude but sometimes that is the case. They have a Lotta good deals, and even though they're Usually busy throughout the day the staff has a good handle on keeping open communication with customers. I must add though that they could use a little bit more work when it comes to cleaning tables and resetting them for other diners because sometimes I see dirt spots on the table or syrup spots on my utensils and then it just throws my whole appetite off and I don't want to eat anymore you know? read more

No option to pay by credit card, could only pay inside restaurant but going inside was not allowed.No place online to add special instructions so I phoned those in: burger cooked medium and fresh fries. When I arrived, the door was locked but after rattling the door handle an employee came out and said there was no inside pickup. Reluctantly, I gave him my credit card and he returned it with the order.I could not come in to few times until someone heard me. I ordered the Classic Steakburger, fries and strawberry shake. The steakburger was overcooked, dry, rubbery and tasteless. The fries were limp, and had no crispiness. The lettuce was wilted. The onion consisted of several small pieces as if cut from the very end of the onion. The milkshake was thin and lacked strawberry flavor. I know what you're saying. IHOP, really? Those were my exact words when my boyfriend suggested that we stop in for brunch. It's right by his place and he promised that he wouldn't tell my friends. We went in on a Saturday morning and the place was jammed. Surprisingly, they told us it would only be a 10 minute wait and that was actually the case. Our server was friendly beyond belief and very attentive. The personal pot of coffee did it for me. What better hang-over cure can you ask of a place that doesn't serve Bloody Mary's? I had an egg-white omelet which wasn't the best but I love that they give you the option of cottage cheese as a side. He had a breakfast which could easily feed a family. I've gone here for many years and in the past two years it's been bad. I order chicken and waffles which i loved or chicken patties. The chicken tenders are all different colors and different texture on the inside. Some are really chewy and nasty to eat. Others are hard and doesn't feel like chicken. When biting water/juice comes out but not a normal amount. Chicken has been reddish on inside and flavorless. I have gave IHop multiple opportunities but i have given up. My husband and I rarely, if ever, complain about anything in a restaurant. I just ordered breakfast, my husband, lunch. Both were delivered very quickly by a friendly waitress. Our food was ALL a temperature between tepid and cool! My eggs and bacon were on the cool side and my pancakes wouldn't even melt the butter on top! My husband's BLT and French fries were cool as well. When we paid at the cash register, a woman asked us how everything was. We told them none of our food was hot or even warm and we mentioned this in polite tones since they asked. Not one of the three women standing behind the counter even acknowledged this, they never said a word, in fact one had a slight smile on her face! Well, that was disappointing. The whole point of going to IHOP late on a Saturday night when you've got a sweet tooth is to get something for that sweet tooth, but that wasn't in the cards this time. My roommate and I went here after I picked him up from work and, while he got the entire order he asked for, I didn't. I order a crepe combo, and the combo portion (the eggs and the sausage) came out at the same time as his entree did. I expected to get the crepe when the waiter came back to ask if we needed anything else, so I waited...and waited...and waited. By the time he finally did come back to ask if we needed anything, I told him to bring us the check because we were already long done. When I saw that the crepes were still listed on the bill, I said, "No, sorry, you need to take this off, because I never did get the crepes." "Really?" he responded, apparently unaware of the food that he himself had brought out. He took the bill back and returned to the table to graciously announce that he had discounted the bill...for $1.99. This place used to be passable but this mornings breakfast was a disaster. The biscuits for the biscuits had gone rancid, the bacon had spoiled and the pancakes were still raw in the center, you could taste raw flour and baking powder. What can I say. Came here since the bf was too drunk to drive back home and to get food and we were in Evanston so we could pick our cars back up after the limo dropped us back off. If i could give a zero i would. I come here ALL the time but this time was the WORST!! Came to eat a late night breakfast and it was the worst IHOP experience EVER!!!!!! There were 2 ppl sitting at the table when we arrived. We ordered simple meals and after waiting 30 mins, server told us the ONLY COOK was out of egg whites and they had to make egg whites. Server didnt bring any extra water nor coffee to the table.. It appears the cook was running the show and didnt give a "2 fa-doodles" abt the only 2 customers.. The cook should have been fired on the spot!! Then after waiting 30 for our meals were not cook to our liking...UGH!!! Do not go at this IHOP at night time. Very clean restaurant with a smiling courteous staff. The kitchen gets my order right every time. Short wait time for food delivery plus their award winning pancakes makes for time/money well spent. You get a great meal at reasonable prices and a full tummy. My ONLY complaint is the tight seating, especially in the booths. Other than that 4 stars all the way!! read more
