Went here on Sunday afternoon for dinner and was surprised at how good the food was. I went in with low expectations and left super satisfied as did everyone I was with. The restaurant itself was clean and not very crowded. The service was quick and our server was friendly and attentive to our table. I ordered the spicy burger and it came out hot and tasted great. The rest of my group ordered breakfast for dinner and got huge omelets with a generous portion of pancakes to go along with it. This was the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had. The staff were beyond rude, unapologetically lazy, and completely unprofessional. The workers were unmotivated and clearly didn't care about the business or its customers. We were denied service an hour before closing--despite the sign on the front door clearly stating the restaurant closes at 10 PM. It was a disgrace. And to top it off, the place was disgusting--there was a cockroach near the front door! I'm honestly relieved we didn't eat here because the level of filth and lack of care from the staff makes me wonder how this place is even allowed to stay open. My daughter's friends and I were not really hungry so we just decided to share the meals. It took quite a while for the staff to take our order and even longer to attend the counter as I was about to pay for our food. They even forgot my daughter's drink which was actually charged and we had to cancel since we have been done eating. Food was good though, one of the best Ihop food we had. Let me start by saying that not all iHops are created equal!!! We stopped here after fueling up at the ConservFuel & camping at the KOA up the road. First off, I will advise anyone in a RV, this parking lot is NOT RV accessible!!! Now to the good stuff: Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted right away. She was multitasking wonderfully while being pleasant and kind to EVERYONE!!! While I waited for my husband to decide on a parking location, Rosalba gave me a few options that I was able to pass on to him. Once we got our truck & trailer parked across the street, Rosalba made sure we had a table where we could see our vehicle. The service we received was absolutely outstanding!!!! Rosalba was genuinely kind, chatted with our 7-year-old daughter, made sure we had FULL drinks, napkins, sauces...everything!!! I stopped in here on Sunday to have brunch with family while in town and had a great experience. The food is the same as any old IHOP, sure, but the service was a big "wow" factor for us. I arrived fully expecting a long wait, but we were seated right away. Half of our party hadn't arrived yet, but our waiter (Sonny) came by promptly to make sure our drink orders were in and to let us know he'd be back to take food orders as soon as the remaining guests got there and to flag him down if we needed anything while we waited. We waited a good long while for the rest of our party to show up, but he was completely understanding and made us feel comfortable while we waited. The simple patience and communication was extremely appreciated! As promised, as soon as the remaining two people sat down, he popped back by to assure we got drinks in for them and to get our food orders, and was even helpful pointing out options on the menu for my kiddo that I didn't see (good catch!). The food came out extremely fast for the place being so busy! The server was on top of it the whole time, and our cups were never empty. At the end of our meal, he asked if any of us would like a drink by asking, "I heard you were traveling, would you like a refill of your soda to-go?". Awesome food and service. It looks run down where you want to not even pull in or go right back out. But our family still went inside. It was clean. There were about 5 tables and 1 server/host along with 1 cook. The service was really good. The food portion was better than other IHOP's I have been to, so that was a huge plus. Food came out at a decent time, honesty I think the server thought I was frustrated because he let me know it would be out soon but I was just tired from our Vacation. My only complaint is the refill soda was odd tasting but I probably shouldn't be drinking soda lol. In all seriousness I highly recommend this place for a pit stop vs fast food. I didn't get any pictures food was that good just ate it all! If the boss sees this this was for 6/21 around 6-7 I think the server was Reggie? I forgot to jeep the receipt but my kid said he needs to get employee of the year since he was nice and got us our food quickly. Price was fair and food was hot and delicious. Restaurant was clean when I visited. Has an older feel or atmosphere to it, but seemed comfortable enough. Located right on the main road in Fillmore, with ample parking but it might be difficult to exit making a left if there's commute traffic. He took our order quick, brought the food out quick. Refilled our drinks each time we were low. Gave me a coffee cup to go , I thought that was excellent. He subbed the fries for a soup when we could not really do that. He mad us feel good, very genuine. The food was great the split 2 the french toast and pancakes. I was surprised at how fast our food got done and served. Food was good. Our standard IHOP food, nothing special. I don't know why I even ordered crepes. I have never been happy with their crepes at any IHOP I go to. The batter is always too thick and cakey. Almost like eating a thin pancake rolled into a crepe. This is one of the best breakfast places to go when your in Fillmore. They get you in and out in a jiffy. I normally get a different flavor pancake every time I go. They have fruit pancakes, dessert pancakes, and regular plain pancakes. Also if you stop by for lunch or dinner you have to try their country fried steak. It's awesome! The only down fall about this place is the parking. Don't plan on finding parking if you go Sunday mornings, everyone seems to go there at that time. Well I hope you enjoy! read more

I go to IHOP about once a week. This place in the morning gets a lot of customers around 9:00am. Instead of Pancakes I usually substitute the Swedish Crepes with the Lingonberry Jam and butter instead. They are delicious. There coffee is very good and fresh. Their Waffles are great. My waitress, Rosalba, takes care of my every need. She is an asset to this IHOP. They have recently remodeled the place. New paint, pictures and handicapped parking has been expanded to two spots right in front of the main entrance. I would recommend this place to my family and friends anytime. read more

When my family and I arrived around 6pm for dinner the restaurant was completely empty. I suspected something was up then, and should have listened to my instincts. In the end, we were extremely disappointed. I had a turkey club sandwich and could only eat a few bites of it. It was flavorless, had almost no meat on it, and had slices of either American or cheddar on it - neither of which belong on a club. My side salad was little more than iceberg lettuce. The bleu cheese dressing didn't taste like bleu cheese - or anything else I could identify. My wife had a spinach and mushroom omelet with fluorescent spinach and unnaturally bright yellow eggs. It didn't taste very good, and she didn't finish her meal either. My 11 year old daughter even panned the french toast. IHOP food has never been fantastic, but at least their breakfast and sandwiches used to be decent. This was far below even that standard. I recommend against eating here. read more

Best IHOP I've been to in a while. Even though the wait for a table was a little long (keep in mind it's Mother's Day) the service was great. The staff here are pretty friendly and we got our food in about 15 minutes. It's a family owned restaurant so they all Make you feel at home. Too bad I'm just visiting from LA but if I'm in the area I'll be stopping by again. It was great to find an IHOP that has Boysenberry syrup, not many have this flavor any more, reminds me of my childhood. I had the Original French Toast with a side of bacon, the bacon was cooked perfectly. My wife had the Simple and Fit breakfast and she said it was good (even though she had fake bacon). The best items are usually their seasonal items(special pancakes and breakfasts) and also their crepes. Other than that, you could get a better meal in town for the same if not cheaper price elsewhere. read more
