Me and babe come here pretty often. For the most part we get our food, it's usually good, and service is usually ok - typical diner experience. The parking lot is ample, and the greeters are always there to greet you and sit you pretty quickly. This particular occasion - our waitress was amazing! Wish I could have remembered her name but she was great! We set over a different side so the ambiance was even better. Our food - was very mediocre! I guess the cook was tired because everything tasted really bland and not like we usually get. In addition, it took a long time to get our check and this was because their credit card machines were down. Then they proceeded to take his card number on a manual card sheet and I think that is NOT the way to go. I know places still do this but this day and age it's too much identity theft. I didn't like it at all. This particular experience was a hit or miss one for us and it definitely missed! Will give it sometime before we return.

The pancakes were hard as if they had been sitting under a warming light. The butter on top would not melt on the pancakes. The omelet was just okay. The quality was horrible and it's not often I visit IHOP. But I definitely was reminded why I don't visit!!!

Had my Saturday game day breakfast al local ihop. Place was packed and I was seated quickly and my server was at table pretty fast. My server Marsil was on her game. Food was delivery perfectly and tasted good. Marsil was hoping and looked like she was working 2-3x fast than her counterparts. Great family place. Good coffee too.

We (husband, I, our four kids and church family,) came here to finish off our night. It is my son's 3rd birthday, and we had just left the arcade. We were hungry! When I walked in, I immediately had to use the rest room. Yall, I never do number 2 in a restroom, unless I have to. I really had to......BUT, I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I had to keep it stored inside. The bathroom was a mess. In each stall, there was no or a little bit of toilet paper and seat covers. There was trash on the floor, and the bathroom itself was missing the "fresh, I should be disinfectant smell." I washed my hands, and mosied my way out of there. My family sat down and waited for our church family. The kids ordered their food, while my husband and I waited the 10 minutes for our church family to get there. When they arrived, we finished placing our orders. The kids got the endless pancakes with sausage, bacon and eggs. I got the bacon omelet, hubby got the pancakes with bacon, sausage and eggs. The omelet was good. It could have been a bit more moist, but it was good. It had enough bacon in there to let you know that it was a bacon omelet. Nobody got time for scantly, sparse placed bacon. The waitress was friendly, but I do feel that she was overwhelmed with having 10 of us. She forgot things we asked for, like refills or straws. But, she was pleasant. It's not the worse place that I've eaten at, and it's not the best place. I will revisit again.

Props to this location! Went here one night after 9, there was 1 guy running the entire restaurant! No joke! I called my order in and it was ready and correct and the guy was very nice! Had to give a tip! Shoutout to the service workers!

Despite the full trash can, they have a rating of 96. Its very clean!

IHOP is great on a early (before 8am), Sunday morning. You miss the party crowd and the church crowd. This IHOP is typically booming (crowded) during your typical (8am-12pm) Saturday and Sunday breakfast hours. It's in a great location (depending on your origin) on highway 124 in between Discount Tire Company and Culvers. This location is also surprisingly clean; with an inspection score of 96 to boot. Tables and booths are generally clean with your occasional crumb in the seat here and there. Just ask for an extra napkin to usher them to the floor if you spot some. Staff is welcoming and willing to accomodate. From getting that perfect seating to fixing those eggs just how you like it. Not sure if all servers are as accommodating, but on our visit, Alysia was. Plenty of parking around the building. If there does happen to be a wait, there is the typical IHOP bench seating in front of the register and outside.

We arrived at 8:04. There was two tables in the restaurant. We were sat right away! That was the last thing that was positive. We sat there for 20 minutes before we were greeted by the same person who sat us. She had an attitude towards us the whole time while we were there. Our food took 45 minutes to come out of the kitchen and when it got to the table it was cold. There was someone vacuuming the whole time. Which made it a very loud dinner. Then worst of all the server was complaint about a tip she got - which if they got the same service we did it was deserved. My wife and I were in the service industry for over 25 years and we are very patient and understanding, but when people choose to spend their money with you then you should be happy to serve them so that they come back!

It was my wife's birthday, so we went cycling at Alexander Park and decided to come to IHOP which is just down the street from the park for our post exercise lunch. Our server was Marie and she was exceptional, down to earth and very attentive, she was everything that I look for in a waitress or waiter. So Marie was given 25% gratuity. Our food tasted perfectly fine, then again it really all depends on what a person orders. I had the spinach omelette topped with tomatoes, with a small side of hash browns and the whole wheat pancakes that were crowned with banana's. The food was very fresh, the pancakes were cooked perfectly and my omelette was nice and fluffy. The food came out within what I would consider appropriate for the amount of customers they had in the restaurant, so that was good. It seems that most of the other reviewers had a terrible server, so I will consider ourselves very fortunate. However, I do not understand how people complain about bacon being salty, after all, the majority of pork bacon is cured in a brine, so of course it is extremely high in sodium, which is why people who are concerned with hypertension should avoid it, or switch to the alternative, turkey bacon that is uncured. I would recommend eating here; however, make sure to eat in Marie's section, because who knows how the service will in another. [Review #181]

I ordered a Big Steak Omelette n instead they send me a omelette with bacon n look like some burnt pulled pork or something!!!

I had just landed from New Jersey and arrived tired, jet-lagged, starving, and looking for something delicious near my hotel. Artificial intelligence recommended Just Brunch, and this time, AI absolutely understood the assignment! I ordered the Seafood Lovers Omelet with shrimp and lobster, accompanied by a side salad and biscuit. Between the seafood and eggs, I estimate that I received approximately 50 grams of protein. The portions are not humongous because this is a more gourmet-style restaurant, but the amount was just right for rich, high-quality food. The omelet was delicious, the salad was fresh and flavorful, and the biscuit came with an incredible Cajun sauce. Oh, my Lord! I normally watch my macros, so I only ate about a quarter of the biscuit, but every bite was worth it. The jam was also fantastic. The freshly made pineapple, ginger, and mint lemonade was out of this world. It was refreshing and tasted like something genuinely special--not an ordinary restaurant lemonade. My total was $38.16 before tip, and I left Briana 22% because she provided excellent service and deserved it. Some people may think that close to $50 for brunch is ridiculous, but I see it differently: I could spend about $20 somewhere like Panera and have a basic meal, or I could spend more and have an experience I will actually remember. Just Brunch is not the cheapest option, and this was certainly more indulgent than my everyday breakfast. But if you value taste, quality, presentation, and a memorable meal, it is absolutely worth it. If you're visiting Duluth, especially for work or while staying nearby, don't miss this spot. Amazing food, amazing drink, and an amazing experience!

It's located on the corner of Webb Ginn Rd and Grayson Hwy and is connected to a Shell gas station. When I walked in, it reminded me of someone's kitchen, which I really loved. Very warm and inviting. There were pictures on the wall of different celebrities. I'm a big OutKast fan so I definitely enjoyed them paying homage to OutKast and of course my Falcons. So the restaurant is New York City food infused with southern comfort which is so intriguing to me. They have a very nice and expansive menu from seafood, burgers, and breakfast items. They even have vegan options as well. The kind lady that took my order did say that everything on the menu is sold all day. I asked her how long had they been open and she said last June made a year. I ordered the shrimp and grits and the Oreo cookie crunch cheesecake but to my horror, the kind lady said something about they did not have dessert. Now I'm not sure if they had ran out or just wasn't serving dessert at that time but it was just after 11am when I got there, so it was lunch time hours. Needless to say, I was disappointed but the food definitely made up for me. The shrimp and grits were AMAZING! The sauce was what really did it. The biscuit had like a honey topping and was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The portion size was perfect! I'm thinking really hard y'all but honestly, I have to say that, that was the BEST shrimp and grits I've ever had. I'm looking forward to going back and getting that Oreo cheesecake and I really want to try the hoagie.

The World's Best BLT in a Lonely Gas Station Corner…read more Tucked into the dim corner of a run-down gas station off Highway 14 is The Griddle Stop, a place so unassuming you'd drive past it a hundred times without a second thought. Dusty windows, flickering neon, and a gas pump that hasn't worked since the Clinton administration. But behind a creaky door and a scratched-up counter sits the holy grail of sandwiches: the world's best BLT. Served on thick, toasted sourdough that crackles just right under your bite, the bacon comes in unapologetically fat slabs -- smoky, crisp, and curled like it has a story to tell. The lettuce? Iceberg, shredded fresh and cold like it was pulled straight from a mountain stream. The tomatoes are impossibly red, juicy, and somehow always in season, kissed with just enough salt to make your lips tingle. And the mayo -- homemade, garlicky, and spread edge to edge -- binds the whole miracle together. There's no music playing, no Instagram signage, and the cook, a retired Marine named Earl, only grunts when you compliment his food. But when that sandwich hits your table (a wobbly Formica top near the vending machine), the world slows down. You forget you're alone. You forget the gas station smell. You forget everything but the next bite. Five stars. No frills. No fuss. Just the kind of meal that makes you question every fancy sandwich you've ever overpaid for. Earl doesn't serve happiness, but he'll sure as hell give you the sandwich that feels like it.
