A delicious meal provided by Araceli I'm so pleased

I loved my breakfast experience because of Araceli! Great service attitude and all the above! The ambiance was perfect with good music!

I'm visiting as I am not from here. Decided to stop and have breakfast here. Waitress was nice, food ok but this place cleanliness was out the door. I always order coffee but when I seen the coffee canister it's poured from disgusting. They are all displayed on the tables and they are dirty. The spoons are dirty. I asked for plastic silverware and asked for apple juice in a to go cup. I will never set foot in this place. I blame management for this.

Uhhh, not sure where to start. I should point out nothing was the fault of the server, who was physically injured but working like a boss despite that and being by herself. She was very sweet and took care of us. The ordering did take awhile, but I guess really, upon coming in, because the restaurant was dirty while the place was slow (again, not the injured server's fault--we've all been there as a server at least once), and my steak tips and rice were cold -- the food still tasted good. The salad has a very starchy texture, and the lettuce tasted like I was eating dirt. It was an odd, unpleasant texture and smell. My son enjoyed his bacon burger while my husband enjoyed his biscuits and gravy with pancakes on the side. They both said theirs were warm. Would I come back? Sure, when the family brings me and because there's really not much to do in this town.

Came here for Father's Day! I was blown away by how good the food was! Can't go wrong with hot coco and whipped cream. Their crepe is sooo good too! I got it with hash browns, eggs, and sausage. They definitely use higher quality eggs compared to Dennys! My partner got the cinnamon roll pancake and it was really good. Our waiter was super chill, and I loved his vibe! He made our Father's Day extra special. There was only like 3 other tables with costumers when we went. We actually thought it was closed when we first arrived, but it was open! Very nice and quiet. I love their interior design and how clean everything is. Definitely wayyyy better than the Denny's in Maricopa! I'll be coming here more! Last week I got take out from here; the dinner t-bone steak with broccoli and loaded mashed potatoes! It was really good and I surprisingly ate everything. I usually have leftovers. I also got an Oreo milkshake! Yummy!!

Excellent food…read moreof high quality, great service, good prices, a menu with plenty of variety, and a nice atmosphere that could play to both a more casual brunch or a more dressed-up dinner out. We stopped in for brunch and were impressed with how attentive, professional, and courteous Janelle was. Despite the busy morning of customers, our drinks stayed topped off and we got all the help we needed. We tried the Chef's Creative Benny, Stuffed French Toast, and Roots Breakfast Platter, as well as trying their take on the Screwdriver and Espresso Martini cocktails. Everything was delicious! The brioche bread was toasted on the outside, soft on the inside, the eggs were fluffy, and the fruit was fresh. I cannot understate how good the bacon was. I've tried all sorts of bacon, but they did it right. Thick but not too thick, crispy yet not burnt, and just a hint of cherry to it. Fantastic. If you haven't been here and you live in Maricopa, it's time to pay Roots Eatery a visit! And if you can, ask for Janelle! She is a rock star and a valuable addition to this business.

Service was also excellent and the bar tender served up perfectly mixed drinks. Growing comes with issues that can and should be addressed. One small thing is that they didn't install hooks under the bar for hanging handbags. The first thing my Girlfriend does in any restaurant where we sit at the bar is look for hooks under the bar. Small thing but big improvement. More importantly is that for this new high end restaurant the wine list must be upgraded. The wine also needs to be served at the proper temperature. In Arizona you can't keep your red wine on the bar and serve it at room temperature. Hopefully management will correct things in time but for now we will be regular customers at this fine dining establishment. Now the best dining experience in Maricopa.

This gem of a restaurant is absolutely fantastic…read more It's a little difficult to get to if you don't know the directions, but it's in an old-timey building that was once a consignment store. It's cool though because it's rustic while providing outdoor seating both upstairs and downstairs. This place kind of looks like a barn but in a very vintage, very cool way. The space within is open and comfortable; tables are reasonably distanced from each other, there's a stage with a drum set and mic for live music, and country themed string lights wrapped around the stair rails and upstairs banisters. Country music plays in the background and on the TVs above the stage while sports play on other screens across the restaurant. Shelby was very nice. When we initially arrived, she was the only server, so her manager stepped in to take our orders and help. I love this because more managers should be hands on and help their employees. I can't speak for the drink menu while I'm sober, but the food is as roadhouse as you get, but in a great way that isn't generic. You can taste the smoky flavor in the sliders from the sampler and even in the baseball sirloin. The meat is very tender. Even the chicken in the sampler was moist and tender. The cowboy bites were addictive with cheesy goodness and mushroom juice exploding on your tongue. Not a fan of the asparagus, which I felt was bland and overcooked, but asparagus is very difficult to get right, even among experienced cooks. The potatoes had too much garlic, but my husband liked them, so I guess that comes down to subjectivity. He loved the ribs. Excellent service and food for a moderate price. The steaks can get up there in price, so be prepared to dig a little deep, but everything is appropriately priced for what you're receiving. On our way out, a server greeted a pair of customers with genuine excitement: "Oh you're back!" And they told her they returned because of her. I think more people should understand that customers get attached to servers. So good service matters for more than a review or requirement. It makes people feel good, and it makes the servers feel good too when the service is genuine. I am inclined to agree. Everything about this restaurant was excellent.

The staff was friendly and helpful throughout. Our ticket included a bbq buffet lunch at the restaurant afterwards, where they also gave awards. Since I don't eat meat, I ordered at the restaurant. I ordered the picado with shrimp which comes with rice, lettuce, grilled onions, jalapeños, bell peppers, tomatoes, cheese, and chipotle ranch. It was pretty tasty and had a nice kick! I was grateful they had some pescatarian options. I also enjoyed a glass of bubbly to celebrate our game. Service was excellent. The course was in good shape and was fun and challenging to play. It's not super close to me, but I would like to play at The Duke again!

My husband comments on the fish, she said "that's only on Friday" we look at each other and wonder, why are they giving us a menu only for Friday on a Saturday?
