Way too expensive for what you get. Prices should be half of what is charged. Not good value.

We have a Christmas tradition (going on 9 years) of having a big family breakfast. Since the new ownership we were not allowed to use our military discount, ihop dollars or even get the points for our meals. You ask why? Both times we've been to this location we've been served by Jennifer. She's AMAZING!! Food is consistently good and comes out really fast. Came here for the first time at this location this morning with my 2 year old. For a Saturday morning this place was packed!! The wait time wasn't bad as we weren't a large party. Around 15-20mins. Our server Rae was pretty attentive. Didn't make any mistakes on the order and it came out relatively fast. You can tell that the manager and assistant manager really cares about service. They were going around asking if we needed anything and how our food came out more than once. The reason why for the 3 star is because I witnessed an unfortunate event. The couple that sat next to us found a piece of plastic inside her burger. Granted, we all make mistakes and I'm sure it was not intentional of the cooks or server, but if you want to maintain your customers to come back, presentation and how you handle the situation is what matters. Comping out just the burger is a nice gesture/courtesy; but perhaps comping out the entire bill completely would be better. All in all, ihop will always be a breakfast spot for most. read more

We've been coming to this location for over 10 years! It's now under new management but the atmosphere and place continues to be the best. Customer service was excellent! Alyssa and the team gave us over the top service. The food was delicious and cooked to our liking!! Just as requested. and can't leave out Kali and the hostess (forget her name) in the front. Gluten-free pancakes! They are so good that I crave them. These pancakes don't give me that over-full feeling that I get from regular pancakes. Came in for dinner with my husband and kids and all we could hear is the cook arguing with the server . She had to ask him to get off his phone and finish our food . Like most people I've been to IHOP a ton of times. This IHOP however, is the first I found worthy of a review. This is my fourth time here but first time that it's been really packed. However the team here from the server to the staff clearing tables have been fast, efficient and amazingly friendly. Every staff member seems happy and motivated to assist customers. Despite the crowd my food came out fast and piping hot. The experience made the meal and I will continue to come back. This is the gold standard of IHOPs without question. read more

Not sure what's going on with this IHOP, it used to be the best. Owners were present and staff was friendly and great. That unfortunately has all changed. Service is now terrible and there is never an owner or manager present. Today we were served by Kim. Not sure what her problem was but she was NASTY from start to finish. She treated us like we were a constant inconvenience. No smiles, no refills, and never even checked back. What a disgrace!! My favorite restaurant in this tiny town. Its such a cool little diner and it reminds of my childhood. I always get the chocolate pancakes.

We had Alyssa as our server today. She was very attentive, sweet and speedy. We ordered the double blueberry pancakes, chicken, fried steak and the seasonal homestyle turkey stuffing melt. The pancakes as well as the chicken fried steak are always a must but this sandwich surpassed all other sandwiches. It was so juicy. The berry sweetness, the moist turkey and the toasted multi grain bread came together to make the best sandwich I truly believe that I have ever had. Thank you IHOP for making my morning. Walked in trying to have a Family breakfast and was ignored skinny young dude with bowl cut just ignored me and Young lady ignores me. No "Hi be right with you" nothing... Well, where should I start... The cold and disgusting food, the horrible service, even worse management and the fact that you and your family will all get a free high with dinner! Everybody that works at this IHOP including the managers are high. They all take marijuana breaks. My family & I had the most amazing dining experience this morning. Wait time- not terrible for a Sunday morning, 20/25 minutes. Robert, the restaurant manager was not only managing the waitlist but also engaging with every single person who walked in. Way to set the mood! As we were seated, we were given a high chair, a kids menu and a sealed container of Froot Loops for my Son who was just over the moon the moment he saw it. Seriously, whoever thought to do that- huge kudos!! Every minute counts when dining out with our busy toddler. Our server Jesus was incredible. Our experience at IHOP today was exceptional, and we could not have received better service from Nikki. I've been going to IHOP for as long as I remember, but the IHOP in Menifee was by far the best experience I've had at an IHOP. There are three things I look for in a restaurant. Food, service, and atmosphere. As for the atmosphere, it's a typical modern IHOP, but still, it had a great feel and was very clean. It felt very new, but I don't know how new the place actually is. I love IHOP food, and the food was completely up to par. What really set this experience apart from others I've visited was the service. We were greeted with a smile and seated almost immediately. Our server, Nikki, came to our table within a couple minutes and was great! So friendly! She took our drink orders and got our drinks very quickly, and we were surprised how quickly we got our food! We visited a different pancake restaurant recently and waited 40 minutes for our food before getting fed up and leaving, so that made this experience only that much better. But truly, this service was what you'd expect at a high-end fine restaurant. Nikki visited our table several times to make sure all was okay. I had ordered something called cupcake pancakes that comes with a cupcake glaze and sprinkles on the top pancake. Seeing I finished off the top two pancakes, Nikki offered to bring me more glaze and sprinkles so my next pancake would be just like the top, which I gladly accepted. I didn't even ask for it! This IHOP is doing something right, and someone knows a lot about hiring good people! We will be returning there often!! read more

IHOP has a long tradition, or should I say existence? In the past if my memory does not fail me, their food in general was definitely better. Today, after insisting on the part of the ladies in the family, I returned after many years hiatus I returned but I would not say triumphantly, for the food left quite a bit to be desired. I do not blame the after effects of the pandemic, or even the pandemic when in force for the lack of culinary skills on the part of the cooking crew, or even the quality of ingredients used, for I strongly believe in those who want and know how to deliver good fare. Service was prompt and accommodating throughout. Food: Grilled Chicken VegSalad, $13.29. Lady who ordered it liked it very much with Balsamic dressing. Nice serving, carried half back home. 4 Stars. Farmer Hot Sampler Breakfast Feast?, $15.99. This is where the boat started taking in water. Big and link Sausages, nice amount. 1 strip smoked bacon. A couple of pieces of ham. Two eggs over medium, Sourdough toast, 2 Pancakes, that truly have lost all appeal regardless of how much butter and syrup used to help. Really sad for once upon a time this was their stellar choice, many recipes ago. All the meat sweating with oil/grease (whichever sounds nicer), flavor average at best, mediocre at worst. Not a pretty sight, bite. 2.5 Stars. Seniors Scrambled Eggs, 2 Sausage links, 2 pancakes. Our lovely senior eats like a lumberjack but in actuality is a 120 lbs beauty. No pauses until plate is consumed absolutely. 3.5 Stars. Total with gratuity was dangerously close to big 50. EMPLOYEES DON'T HAVE TO WEAR MASKS?! REALLY? My husband and I have been to this IHOP many times, have always enjoyed the food, and people have been nice. But tonight a young man served us and I asked him why he wasn't wearing a mask. He rudely replied, "Because I don't want to". I asked for the manager and he told me that he told the server he could take his mask off because he wasn't feeling well. Are you kidding me? All the more reason, with the covid issue escalating, again, that he should wear it! The manager did not apologize to me , just said he would talk to the employee. He also said that wearing a mask was a mandate, not a law. Look it up! They are both enforceable! He said he had to protect his employee, but what about his customers! Is it too much to expect servers to wear masks so we can be safe? I've been a waitress and can't imagine treating customers like that, especially when the law is on my side! read more

We had the pleasure of being served by Annie. She was extremely pleasant, courteous and provided the best customer service I have seen in this area. She came by and asked us about refills and anything that we might need during and after the meal. Exceptional service and politeness were extended to us and can't wait to go back for more. We also witnessed a very hard working twin, Emily and Cindy, that were busting their tails ensuring tables were clean, sanitized and ready to go for the next customers. As soon as one customer leave, they were there to get it ready. No ifs or buts, they just go and get into action. It was apparent that the business were expertly managed and run like a well-oiled machine.
