Had to take advantage of National Pancake Day at IHOP and breakfast for dinner just hits different. Honestly, nothing tastes better than free buttermilk pancakes! We also ordered eggs, and they were cooked exactly how we like them. Fast, friendly service made the whole experience even better.

This is officially my first review of 2026 and I couldn't think of a more deserving rave than IHOP's very own RAVIN!!! I came here with my little fam to kick start our morning & celebrate the new year with a yummy breakfast!! First impressions: IHOP is POPPIN' on New Years morning!! Who would have thought??! Our family of 3 were immediately seated and Ravin makes her way over to our table - introducing herself and getting straight to business. She immediately offered coffee which we clearly needed. Lmao. She then walks away giving us time to review the menus. Breakfast: * NEW! JR. PROTEIN PANCAKE + 1 Scrambled Egg 1 Bacon & 1 Sausage. * Side of STEAMED FRESH BROCCOLI * JR HOT CHOCOLATE [with whip] * COWBOY BBQ BURGER * CLASSIC BREAKFEAST® SAMPLER [no bacon, double portion on the sausage. sunny side up eggs.] Food was delicious. The pancakes were fluffy and so satisfying to cut into. The portions were plentiful and the burger was especially generous with its towering stature. The broccoli was cooked perfectly- having a slight bite to it but not being raw [which my toddler and I cannot stand] and having a bit of a buttered taste?? Ravin was meticulously in getting our order just right. She periodically came over to check on us, offering to grab condiments, and made sure my toddler was happy. She gave the same amount of care and undivided attention to each and every table she was helping. 5/5 stars for Ravin but I would easily give so much more if possible. Thank you for such a memorable way to start off our new year & TY to IHOP for providing a meal our entire party enjoyed.

I ordered a cali melt and it barely had any turkey, tomatoes and avocado. What you advertise should come close to what we receive.

This location is a waaay better than the Newark one. Customer service is on point. Food came out fairly quickly for a very busy Sunday. I had their biscuit chicken sandwich, it was pretty good. The biscuit falls apart so you do need a fork to eat it (also needed more gravy) 8/10. Pancakes 9/10 Blue raspberry lemonade 8/10 Big steak Omelette 8/10 Appetizer platter 7/10. The onions rings on the picture have a different batter than what is served 6/10. Definitely coming back to this location. ****Solid stars

Always appears close but it's Open based on the cars in the parking lot. Visited midweek. It was semi full which was a treat for us in order to relax, take our time and converse over the never ending good cup of hot joe! Menu and table advertisements offer plenty of and at times fun food options! Staff frequently checked on us. I always grab a Tooty Fruity but this time I enjoyed the Poblano Omelette and hubby grabbed the Chicken Fried steak. Both were very delicious from beginning to end. Hash browns were buttery and toasty. Pancake hit the spot, toast was ok, I expected thin and crunchy but thats ok, I may go with white bread next time. We will be back soon

Friendly service and attentive. Food prepared fast and served hot. Bottomless pancakes a plus! Really enjoyed the staff and ambiance of this location!

This is a very solid IHOP restaurant. Nothing beats it, especially if you're looking for good space, good people, good location, and good service while having your big breakfast. The vibes are more positive than most locations and this is certainly much better than Denny's for similar type foods. IHOP is also military/veteran/first responders friendly, so if you visit during holidays such as Veterans Day or Memorial Day, you will feel appreciated. We were seated immediately. Staff was organized and good at his job. Foods came out quickly. Delicious red, white & blue pancake combo for today includes eggs, hash browns & bacon or sausage. No rush or stressful parking lot during morning hours. That's plenty to enjoy. Very satisfying. I miss coming here for the big hot chocolate beverage with whipped cream. Love it here. Staff was attentive and it's always hustling & bustling inside. Overall, menu selections are still decent. It's definitely a preferred location and great for meet ups/chill time. Breakfast restaurants aren't cheap these days, but people leave satisfied for sure.

Average experience at Night Shift. The server seemed disinterested and wasn't friendly. The food was okay, nothing special. Service was slow and felt like an afterthought. Maybe they were having a tough night, but hope they work on improving the vibe.

Overall, this is an ihop so very basic summary as it is like any other chain a lot is very much the same. I do give this location a solid 3+ , the service was great at entrance and have to say this place is cleaner both on inside and out than most locations. Parking is okay , but expect morning crowd it might be rough. Pancakes were as expected and I got the strawberry / banana ones. Now this is what keeps from a four rating. The picture on menu showed fresh strawberries , what I got looked more like raspberries in size , maybe frozen or from a can. As promised the banana was fresh but portions small, maybe not ihop fault as everything is more expensive but overall for 14 bucks I should have chosen something else. Table service was friendly , did have to ask for drink refill but that is okay. So overall looking for an ihop would recommend this place , just be careful what you order from the menu looks and tastes as advertised.

Food was ok. Service depends on wait staff: sometimes excellent; other times terrible. They are always busy for breakfast or brunch. Love their waffles ... it's the light batter versions and really hits the spot with its crunchy exterior. Of course, it needs to be paired with fatty sausage... this is mediocre but passable. Would have like it to be more flavorful. The eggs, what can you say, any short order cook can do over easy. This is a fast food version. To be over easy, one should not see the darken yellow on either side of the egg. Maybe i'm picky. All in all, it's . It's a 3 star plus experience.

    Ruined order

Ruined the whole door dash order. Ordered eggs over easy, not scrambled. no sausage on both, gave us extra pancakes instead of hah brown, hella ketchup for what!? No syrup for the pancakes I did order :( Won't be ordering again, will go to black bear, yall suck

This is the closest ihop location to us! It's our go to brunch spot , because it's affordable and yummy! Ihop has always been a family fave and we absolutely love the pancakes, waffles, and omelettes! Service is not always the best at this location, but it is such a fun and comfy restaurant spot... we can't complain!

No lines and no crowds on a rainy day morning with plenty of available parking spots in the huge lot. Nothing attractive on the outside in this old popular plaza. The place turned out great with the old fashioned retro red color style interior and the experience was wonderful. Good vibes and positive feelings when walking into it. My lady server provided excellent service and the Hispanic male worker was quick and efficient. Place is clean and menu had good variety of selections. Breakfast is served all day while lunch items start at 11am. My breakfast was very fulfilling and total was $25.30 with everything included. I paid in cash and tipped them $5. Loved my sweet lady server. There was another older woman at the cash register. She's a local as well. I really enjoyed the stop. I had the Fajitas Omelette breakfast and the steak meats in it were very generous. Delicious breakfast exactly as I had expected. My onions green peppers potatoes were perfect with a side of salsa. Sourdough toast was delicious with the garlic butter taste. I really came for my favorite hot chocolate with whipped cream in the morning. I do miss big American breakfasts, especially in these old fashioned and traditional retro spots. Love it. Why didn't I visit this place much earlier? Because they're always busy or full inside and the plaza parking is usually congested with heavy traffic here. Overall, I love the vibes and the service. It's one of those places where you can just have normal casual conversations with the staffs working inside if you are open to it. Beautiful diner. Yes, I will be revisiting in the future. If you love huge food portions, there's great value here. One plate can easily be shared between two people. Nice.

We moved to Milpitas about a year ago and my son started going to Mil's and is a current 'Regular'. They have good food. So after a while, my husband and I started going there and we too started going there pretty regularly for breakfast, at least once or twice a week. All in all, between the family we drop a few hundred a week. And we do tip well. Most of the wait staff knows us. Today, my husband had to stop on his way home to use the restroom. He doesn't look homeless or unkempt in anyway. When he asked, they told him he couldn't unless he's a 'paying customer'. This was to a newer employee he hadnt seen before. He proceeded to explain that we eat here regularly and she still said no. He asked to speak to the manager, who does know him. He too said no. I find it ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS that for a supposed family atmosphere restaurant, they couldn't extend a small courtesy. What exactly was it going to take away from them? As mentioned, we drop a good chunk of change there, and they didnt want to help out a patron that frequents the restaurant? Well, have no fear, we will NEVER darken your doorstep EVER again.

I flew from out of town for a private family event with 80+ people, and I thought the place was cute and humble at first glance. Hold on... Who was the random old man in the room? And why is he walking around our event with a creepy look in his eyes and disrespecting my family with his unsolicited comments? Thats the owner. There are other comments that talk about him. Be warned. Zahir does not have a grasp on people skills and the tone of his voice switches from soft old man to grumpy old man without warning. He sat at a desk during the event with a judging side eye while my family filled in for a crew he did not adequately coordinate with. Made no sense that my family became the workers at their own event, and the venue lacked communication on how this event should flow. I did not finish my food, but it got the job done. Satiated at best. I preferred the appetizers that my family brought. The space is very humble and intimate and has a nice outdoor area that offered a break when my family needed a breather. The place is an older building so ventilation did struggle. However, Zahir locked a side door and told the guests that he would kick them out if they were seen using that exit. Fun fact, that side door was originally the planned enter/exit for this event. Parking lot is small but theres street parking available. A small Indian food truck took a portion of the parking lot and I would rather eat there instead of this place. Save yourself a trip. Book somewhere else.

You could stumble upon it through Yelp (as we did), discover it while staying at the adjacent Treehouse Hotel, or simply hear about it through word of mouth. The parking situation is an interesting one. After turning into the driveway from Mathilda Avenue, you have two options: turn right for valet parking or left into the Google parking lot. There are plenty of spaces available, though parking there is technically at your own risk. The restaurant told us they had not heard of anyone being ticketed or towed. We first dined here shortly after it opened in 2025 and were immediately impressed by the beautiful grounds. The hotel's eco-conscious gift shop, housed in a glass greenhouse and featuring a colorful vintage VW Bug, is a charming touch. The short walk to the restaurant feels especially relaxing on a warm, sunny day. This has become one of our favorite places to bring friends or host girls' lunches. With three distinct seating options: the dining room, bar, and patio, there's an atmosphere to suit just about any occasion, whether you're dining as a couple or gathering with a larger group. I would recommend visiting during lunch or dinner service and skipping the in-between hours. During that time, only the bar area is open and the menu is more limited. To fully experience what Valley Goat has to offer, lunch or dinner is the way to go. Despite the name, the only goat dish on the menu at the time of this review is the Goat Empanadas. My friend was initially hesitant to order them, but David, our wonderful server, and I encouraged her to give them a try. She was glad she did. There was no gamey flavor whatsoever; the meat tasted more like beef, and the accompanying sauce was excellent. Over several visits, we've enjoyed everything we've ordered and are delighted to have a restaurant of this caliber in our Bay Area backyard. Chef and co-owner Stephanie Izard, winner of Season 4 of Top Chef and an Iron Chef title, owns a total of nine restaurants, primarily in the Chicago area, along with locations in Los Angeles and one at Orlando International Airport. Since we enjoy traveling for great food, we'll definitely be adding some of her other restaurants to our list.

Heard of this place for a couple years and finally got to try it on a business dinner. In the past…read morewhen I checked it out, I didn't find the menu extensive. Today I was happy with the food, more to that later. First off, this place is not so easy for me to find. There's a blue glass building outside, which misled me to drive around, looking for somewhere else. Would be better to have a sign somewhere more visible on the street. The place was well decorated with hanging plants and gave a calm, peaceful, and open feeling. It feels great to be inside. It's also a good setting for business HH or gatherings. We started with the drinks, and I tried the Goat Gibson, thinking it must be their signature cocktail since it has their name on it. I don't like it at all. It's too savory for my palate. My Vietnamese coworker saw the ingredient list had fish sauce, and he took an interest in it. After having a few sips, he also didn't like it. The Blush Spritz was a lot more normal for a cocktail. Overall, we found the cocktails pricy for the size offered. They also ran out of Laughing Monk which was the only beer our coworkers were interested in. The food on the other hand was better. We had: -Goat empanadas: great bakery skills on the wrapping, fragrant and buttery -Crispy Quinoa + Tuna Poke Salad: fresh tuna, everyone loves the dressing -Roasted Asparagus: interesting presentation with flowers covering the asparagus. We had to dig in to find the asparagus but they tasted good and fresh. -Wood-fired Mary's chicken: half a chicken, the meat was juicy with few bones -Sticky Pork Shank: This is the best. It came with a whole knuckle-sized portion of meat on a bone. At first I was surprised that they didn't offer any serving knives but only a tong. Amazingly, the meat was so soft that the tong was the only tool we needed to break up the meat. Super soft and juicy meat with lettuce leaves on the side to mimic a Korean wrap. -Daily special of Hamachi Collar: not bad, but I prefer the Japanese hamachi kama way of cooking. This one is a big collar that had a lot of meat, but I felt like too much meat could easily make the cooking uneven. One thing we noticed though, is all 3 large plates have very similar salad on the side, all the same pickled onions. It would be good to have some differences among dishes. We also tried their Pandan Flan for dessert. I was expecting a green flan, so when a white flan appeared, it took me by surprise a bit. It did have the pandan taste once I spooned in. And the crispy rice was a pleasant addition to the dish. Lastly, onto service. We had to wait till the party was mostly there to be seated. But our waiter service was good. He gave us good suggestions and kept our water filled. Dirty dishes were also cleaned up timely. All in all we are satisfied with the meal. Some mentioned they would come back. With Google and other big companies around them, they are not short of business. Making a reservation is essential.
