Myself & two other coworkers decided to come here after getting off of work. Our server Juanita was patient, sweet, superb on taking our orders down. I took my Mom here for lunch on our way to a family event. As we walked in, the manager (dark haired guy) I assumed, greeted us and asked how we were. I mentioned casually it was my Mom's birthday and he greeted her happy one. Our server was Sandra and she was super friendly. She told us to take our time looking at menu while she got our drinks. It's an extensive menu with lots to choose from. We placed our orders and Sandra was so detailed in answering questions and explaining choices with our meals. The restaurant has that cozy diner feel with bear decor everywhere. We went around St. Patrick's Day and they had a special menu. I ended going off that menu and had the Corned Beef and Cabbage. It also included Mashed Potatoes and Gravy and Veggies. It was really good, I enjoyed it and it was a good size portion. My Mom had a Patty Melt with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy as her side and she liked it. We were finished eating, waiting for our check when Sandra came with a bowl of Ice Cream with Whipped Cream and Sprinkles and a candle on top, and was singing Happy Birthday. What a nice surprise! Obviously the manager mentioned the birthday to her. She was so kind, really gave my Mom a heartfelt birthday greeting. The family wanted to come here so here we are. We have a location where we live but needless to say I didn't enjoy it. Perhaps, I ordered the wrong thing. So here we are now and I wanted to give it a second try. On the day that we dinned there was plenty of comfy booths available. When we were seated our server arrived right away. Her name was Coco and she was helpful, and sweet. We ordered a little bit of everything. I ordered the veggie omelette with the potatoes and rye bread. My husband and sister-in-law ordered French toast. My husband had the bread pudding French toast. My husband and sister-in-law devoured their food and they really enjoyed it. She seemed to be a bit overwhelmed, even though it was a slow Tuesday morning. It took a bit of time to get her attention, but in her defense, she had to serve a family of 7 in our section at the same time. She still kept a smile, so we didn't complain. The food was standard.
