This location had just reopened to diners inside as well as outside dining. Limited capacity of course, masks required. Paper menus as well as disposable condiments... ketchup packets, single serve butter, salt and pepper, syrup. My food was delicious, service was great! The air was not on and it did feel stuffy is my only negative feedback.

Great servers, delicious pancakes, our go to breakfast spot/location. Toddler approved :)

International House of Pancakes has a long history. The new locations have gotten away from the quaint A frame architecture, which is kinda sad. I like character, and the new locations look like pretty much any other place, which takes the fun out of going out. Places like the diner shaped like a milk bottle featured in Benny and Joon (which is located in Spokane and still going) are more fun. Anyway.... I am not usually a pancake fan, unless I go out, because most people tend to make them too thick and don't cook them long enough. So when you get towards the middle you get doughy yuck. Fortunately, IHOP perfected their pancake technique long ago. I have already deducted a star for lack of atmosphere. I took another off because overall I think they charge too much. The last star I took off because of inattentive and indifferent service at this location. We hardly saw our server the whole time we were here, and it wasn't that busy. And the attitude I got from her...well, I think I am going to buy the girl a t shirt that says "Yeah, whatevah..." I will say my food and my sons' food was good, and this location was very clean. May update if server personality improves

Didn't receive our full order. Didn't see the waitress again after she brought the food until she then brought the check. Disappointing.

And somehow, even after a 4-hour drive, it still tastes just as amazing! It's one of the best options if you're trying to stay lower carb (okay... lower-ish carbs), no sugar, and especially if you deal with hypoglycemia. This dish just gets it. Now about the building--if you've been around for a while, you probably remember when it was Heidi Haus on Court Street. I went in there many times, and it was such a sweet, charming place. Honestly, it feels like the perfect spot for Magill's now. The character of the building really adds to the whole experience. The only thing I'd love to see improved is the service. The ladies who work there clearly have a lot of experience, but sometimes the interaction can feel a bit routine or lacking warmth. A little more friendliness and engagement would really take the experience to the next level and match how great the food is. And I mean... my poor mom ordered an orange juice and it showed up not even cold. That's one of those small details that really shouldn't be missed. Thank you, Magill's, for always hitting the mark with the food!

We sat at the bar to escape it, and somehow, of course, they ended up right behind us again. At that point, even the staff were giving each other that look like, "yeah ... we smell it too." Our server stepped in like a hero and quietly moved us to a corner booth, no fuss, no awkwardness, just excellent problem-solving so we could actually enjoy our meal. And that right there is part of why I've always loved this place. The service and food are consistently great, and they handle things with a kind of care you don't see everywhere. I don't even live in the area anymore, but I will stay loyal to Sageport long term. Sageport is the freaking best.

Service We went on a weekend morning so there was a bit of a wait (~15-20 mins). After we were seated, the service was amazing and quick. Ambiance The ambiance is definitely a unique one and one that I don't see very often. It does have its own charm. It is a smaller establishment with lots of tables, so one may find it a bit cramped on the inside. Other Notes With this restaurant, you do get a bill that you have to pay at the front (like Denny's) and their restroom is a bit weirdly located. You'll have to go behind the counter and into a bit of the kitchen to get to it.

BUT, underneath the underwelming gravy was a soggy, rubbery breading lacking in freshness, crunch. Really it wasn't a chicken fried steak, it was a thin slice of tough over cooked carne asada, not cubed steak. So disappointing, especially since it was 30 bucks. On the side were cold and hard potatoes. I didn't eat those. The eggs were great. My friend had the breakfast tacos, and they were cold too. This seemed odd since the place was nearly empty. The place is clean but the music is overbearing. I long for the cozy pub it had been. The best part of our morning was our waitress who was best server I have ever had!!!

As a quick disclaimer, we did a takeout order so I cannot comment on the service. We ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup (x2) on a cold day, hoping for something comforting. Unfortunately, the grilled cheese was very disappointing. Grilled cheese is usually hard to get wrong, but this one was mostly bread with a very thin layer of cheese. The tomato soup was nothing special. It was not terrible, but it was not anything memorable. We may try dining in at some point to see if the food quality is better in house and to properly assess the service. Overall, this first experience did not live up to our expectations.
