Staff seated next right away. Waiter can over soon after. Warning: they do NOT have Coke products, just Pepsi. Sigh. I ordered the strudel berry crepes. Cane out without strudel. Sent it back and it came right back with streusel. Crepes are a bit thick. Berries are not fresh (maybe frozen?). It was cheap but good. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I came to this establishment on 04/17 with my best friend. The waiter named Dorsey sat us down and took our drink orders everything was going smoothly. We waited 30 minutes for one entrée and when it finally came out there was a hair in the eggs. We calmly told the waiter there is a hair in the eggs and we would like it for it to be remade. He goes to the kitchen to tell the cook and I quote, " Those girls are saying that there is a hair in their food it looks like one of their eyelash hairs to me, you don't even have to remake the whole thing just remake the eggs." How are you going to say that it's our eyelash hair when the hair was cooked into the eggs?? So I calmly told him " You know what it's fine he doesn't even have to make it we will just pay for the pancakes." he tells the cook and the cook catches an attitude and says "Well I already made it." The way to proceeded to start and argue with me and go back-and-forth with me. I called the manager when we got in the parking lot because she was nowhere in sight I told her the problem and all she said was, " i'm sorry I will talk to him" I saw her hang up the phone and start laughing with her employees. The service was so bad that a couple came in while we were in there and they left one minute after being seated because they saw the service was so disgusting and classless. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had at IHOP I will no longer be coming back. read more

I ordered at 1:50 AM for curbside. I arrived at 2:11 AM and waited at the curbside parking. Nobody came out so I went inside. One of the guys working there was sitting on his phone with his girlfriend (who wasn't a worker there). I called out to him about my order and he says "it's right there by the counter." I grabbed it and took a look inside. They got our order wrong. I proceeded to tell him the order is wrong. Then the guy in the kitchen says "oh shit I put your split decision in the OTHER order." I will never go to this IHOP again at night. These workers aren't even working nor do they try to. I'm not sure how IHOP is still open with how they manage their chain. read more

What can I say? This is Ihop. Through minor menu changes, over the years they remain a constant. Nothing super special, but nothing wrong. This place is generally pretty clean, the staff is friendly enough, and the food has calorie counts on the menu so you know what you're taking in for those of us that are not interested in gaining a bunch of carb weight. I gave them three stars instead of four because they took off my favorite item from the menu: cheese blintz. Ask for Ana as your waitress. She is the friendliest person in the joint and will make your day brighter with a smile. read more

I am giving this a 5 star review because we had been going to the other IHOP location which is closer to us (Pearland Parkway and 518) I was so disappointed in the location closer to us and dreadfully went to the Silverlake location. I try to avoid this part of Pearland as much as possible because of the traffic, but we had left Petsmart & my daughter wanted to go... After the extremely disappointing experiences my husband, myself and my daughter have had with the 2829 Broadway location, I was really hesitant about giving IHOP another chance.. However, I do love IHOP omelets and pancakes, so we went in... The Silverlake location was a MUCH better experience... Yes, they are busy just like the other location, and that is expected!! So no frustration there.. The host/hostess were friendly, and our waitress was BUSY but ATTENTIVE!! I use to wait tables, so I am more than patient, and understanding.. I do not mind waiting, but even though she was extremely busy, she was wonderful!! The food, as always does not disappoint.. I have only gone to IHOP for breakfast food (Day or Night) but regardless, I love it! We will never return to the location closer to us, but make a slightly longer trip to the Silverlake location! It was worth it... The 2829 Broadway location needs to step it up and take a training course in customer service from the Silverlake location!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Do not go to this iHop! First, the food was cold when it came to the table. Second, there was a hair in my friend's food. Dorsey the illiterate waiter told us it was an eyelash. I saw the cook with my own eyes. He didn't have on a proper hair net. Plus it was too long to be an eyelash. Dorsey was extremely rude and acted like he wanted to assault my friend who is a WOMAN after him being threatening. The manager doesn't care about customer service either. Miss Erynn was our waitress and she was a very good waitress, she made sure everything was ok. miss Erynn was very good service. Ihop really deserves more people to come in so help them out by going to eat their. they also took care of all four of us with no issues they were really kind and sweet and even if we kept talking to them for a really long time it didn't matter they weren't bothered by it. They were all very professional and good at their job. If you go to IHOP they will treat you with their very best service. IHOP also serves bigger portions of food now. Mr. Yusuf was a great manager he really knows how to run a good place to eat at. Mr. Yusuf is also very good with his service he's a funny, and kind manager. This IHOP needs alot of help. We usually freqent the other Pearland location, but it was Christmas Eve and it was close to where we were at, so we stopped here. We expected a little bit of a wait because it being one of the few restaraunts open that late on a holiday. The problem was with the service when we actually sat down. It was extremely slow and the food needed help. It felt as if the food sat at the window awhile before it was brought to us. Barely warm food that didn't even taste good. This IHOP has gone waaaaaaay downhill. It used to be one of my go to spots since it's the closest to my home. But, today, I called in a to-go order... Over the phone, the order taker was very nice & couteous. She even called me back to tell me my food was ready. However, once I arrived, the first thing I saw was a bunch of young kids (employees) suiting at the front in their red shirts & black pants. Two were playing on their cell phones and the other was just looking around. I heard some very raunchy music playing so I looked around because I was in shock that Pearland IHOP would allow that to play. I asked the cashier "is that coming from the loud speaker"? She said, "No, that's one of those kids playing that on their phones. IHOP wouldn't allow that. The corporate man is here & he would have a fit". Very unprofessional atmosphere! Horrible, horrible, horrible experience. This place was NOT busy at all! The waiter Antonio seated myself and four others (friends). While my friends ordered various dishes on the menu, I decided that the only thing I'd have would be a Dr. Pepper. The waiter, Antonio, asked if I was having anything else. I responded, "No, just a refill of Dr. Pepper as needed." Moments later, Antonio came back to the table with five glasses of Dr. Pepper. This was unprofessional. I asked him to remove the excess drinks from the table. He refused, commenting "Since you wanted refills of only Dr. Pepper, here you go! You can drink them or not." The place was not busy at all. Waitstaff saw us waiting to be seated, but ignored us. It was several more minutes to finally be seated by, maybe the manager. After seating for another long period of time with waitstaff continuing to ignore us, we decided to leave and spend our money elsewhere. Services is horrible and slow. I am always willing to give a restaurant a second chance but twice now service has been ridiculously slow or non-existence. The restaurant is more chaos then organized and no one can check on you to see if you need any additional items. In addition to that, we are charged for something that never came. They r very unprofessional and slow and definitely aren't work orientated, they don't care. The floor was mopped which was good but it was soaking wet with only 2 wet floors signs for the whole building, when the food came out my pancakes were rock hard like they were under the warmer since morning it wasn't busy but the waitress forgot about us and took forever when there was no one else there but 3 tables total with other waitresses and employees were on there phones where all the food is took to the customers overall this location is definitely the worst ihop I've ever been too and I have had nothing but good things to say about this place but this location definitely did not meet any type of standards of any other restaurant if your looking for a nice waiter then yea come here but the food I definitely don't recommend it read more

We went here for dinner this evening and we should have went somewhere else. First the food came out cold, the place was pretty empty so I just do not understand. My hash browns were not even edible, we couldn't even get a refill, and the staff was too busy having fun in the back then doing their job. After this disturbing service, we asked for our check and inquired about a military discount. Instead of saying I'm sorry we don't, she instead laughed at us and stated "this owner don't care to participate in that moneypit program". What does that even mean? Remembering the LAST time we went to IHOP it's coming back to me now... Yes, I remember, CORPORATE IHOP offers discounts to vets and even free meals for vets on certain holidays. I ordered the new Lemon Strawberry Double-Dipped French Toast thinking it looks good on the new TV ad. For starters it's very over-priced (over $8) so I expected it to be good. WRONG!!!! It was dried out, tasteless even after pouring some syrup over it -- and didn't taste at all like any french toast I've ever eaten. The lemon strawberry stuffing is some kind of canned stuff (perhaps pie or pudding filling?), full of sugar and who knows what else! I don't advise anyone to spend that kind of money on such a tasteless breakfast. It arrived heated (perhaps microwaved) but the heat didn't hold long enough to eat it. Perhaps the whole bread thing is microwaved and the reason it's so dried out. I did complain about it and only ate a few bites (thinking it would surely get better) -- the waitress talked with the manger who didn't adjust my bill so they also have poor customer service. read more

Went for lunch and the place was pretty packed was told the wait would be 25 minutes got sat in about 15 minutes and the waiter was brand new just started and she was absolutely as nervous as we were about how our food would come out. This is probably the worst ihop I have been to. If I could get it Zero stars I would. I guess they are used to kids just getting a chance to go out and hence are happy to just get food. After sitting in the booth for 10 minutes without anyone even saying hi, I approached a manager. The server had actually walked past our table multiple times without so much as a "I'll be with you shortly". We then waited another 10 minutes to even get drinks (2 waters, a coffee and an OJ). I did not like their costumer service, they were so rude to me and the people I was with they were making everything so hard for us . I felt like they were being racist because we had was trying to move two tables to getting because there was 7 of us 1 adult and 6 kids counting a baby and they were trying to separate us but when someone else came in with 5 people they not only allowed them to move the tables together but they made us move to a way smaller table and I didn't think that was very far . This wasn't a bad experience but it certainly wasn't a good one. Like most Americans, I have been going to IHOP for a very long time and I except that I will probably have to wait for a table and it will be loud. While both of these held true for that my most recent experience at this location, it was a lot more chaotic. They didn't seem to have a grip on the situation and seemed very dismissive as a result. This IHOP location has been relatively consistent on our food arriving hot and fresh and service ( from the wait staff) is usually decent to good as well. The wait time to receive your food though, it can be unusually long even during off peak hours. read more

The manager explained that each ihop should have the same prices but that was not the case. The food is good but the customer service can be poor at times. Our server Ana Q (#217) was phenomenal. I am rating IHOP based off of mostly her professionalism and great customer service she provided. I always enjoy breakfast food so that was good as expected, but I am just grateful for good quality service. Having a good server seems rare these days, but Ana is exceptional.
