I normally wouldn't review a chain restaurant, but the service we received at this one was exceptional. The food was good and fresh. However the five stars are for the staff. I'm kicking myself for not remembering the name of the women who was on her break, and still came over to help us. My son is a Type 1 diabetic and his blood sugar was a little low when we walked in. Because she came over to greet us at 9pm on Tuesday (6/14)night, I was able to ask her for a soda....which she brought to us immediately. I wish I could tell her thank you for her kindness and let her manager know what a great team member he has. We visited two more times over the next two days hoping to see her again. read more

We went here twice during our Smokey Mountain vacation. The first time the service was horrible, but the second time it was ok, but not great. First time, the waitress never came back to see if our food was ok, if we needed refills or anything until we were done with our order. The second time she did come back with a drink refill before I even needed one, but it did take quite a bit for her to come and take the order. Both times, son and I ordered the nutella and banana crepes and swedish crepes. I have to say the second time, the swedish crepes were much better, as they had a healthier dose of both the ligonberries themselves as well as the butter. Hubby got a philly cheese steak the first time and the ham and cheese omelet the second time. He was happy with both entrees, both times. The price was reasonable for what we got. The food was ok. It wasn't busy as other places in town and we were very happy about that. At first I was nervous seeing it almost empty but it's mostly because people want to go pay too much for an overpriced experience in town and I'm fine with that, (we did that the previous 4 days). Fast, friendly, and delicious as always. If you are in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area, don't count them out if you want pancakes. From my experience, they beat out the local, more touristy type pancake houses. We always choose IHOP read more

My partner and I came here December 9th, 2018 for breakfast and we were warmly greeted by the host/hostess stand upon entering. We were seated and had Candy K as our waitress and she was absolutely amazing!!! The restaurant was very busy but Candy continuously checked up on us. We waited maybe 5 minutes for our coffee which was nothing for us we were fine. Candy K gave us our coffees free and stated she was sorry for taking so long. We told her we didn't wait long at all. Overall the staff was great and the restaurant was fairly clean for being as busy as it was. So here we are December 10th, 2018 eating again with Candy K. Great restaurant amazing staff!!! read more

Sitting here trying to order and they have no grits , asked if I wanted my coffee cold because they have turned off the coffee pot so they heated it up n microwave . Asked for harvest grain pancakes they r out . Asked if I can substitute something for hash browns since I do not eat them . They wanna charge me 1.99 to take it off my plate . Really !!!!!! It was very busy on a Sunday morning. We waited for about 20 minutes to be seated. The food took almost an hour to arrive. I always wonder why it takes Ihop so long to whip up some eggs! I had the chicken florentine crepes. It's been quite a while since I ate at Ihop, I didn't realize how long it had been. Why did they have to change the crepes? They have replaced the hollandaise sauce with a cheddar sauce and I didn't like it much. meh! read more

We were looking to have a late breakfast (1130) so we decided to stop in at IHOP. We were promptly seated to a dirty table that you could easily see wasn't wiped off, so we asked the waitress to clean it off. The waitress was very friendly, but service was rather slow. It took about 10 minutes before we even got coffee. What bothered me the most was the sloppiness of the cooking. We both ordered different omelettes, yet mine apparently came partly with my girlfriends ingredients, meaning that the cook didn't separate them far enough on his grill. It's not that big of a deal, but it's just sloppy. I would recommend to get get breakfast elsewhere. read more

Busy Sunday morning. Packed out the front door. Was afraid it would take forever. Seated in less than 10 minutes (less than the 15 minutes we were expecting) and our food was brought very quickly by our wonderful server Kate. Professional even though she is busy. The staff are almost like a carefully choreographed dance company as they go around each other with loaded trays of piping hot food. Did I mention Kate is amazing? Recently visited Gatlinburg area. This is the BEST IHOP we have ever visited anywhere. Staff was super friendly and service oriented. Restaurant was extremely clean, including restrooms. Our family of five chose this location for the variety it offered. We were promptly seated & the waitress, Virginia came right over. She was extraordinary! She was the most responsive, caring, personable, and professional waitress we have EVER had! While checking out, the computer system was having difficulty accepting gift cards. The manager, Mark Davis asked us to wait a minute for him to make a phone call. When he attempted the card just a short time later, it still didn't work correctly. Without hesitation he wrote off my family's bill. After he said what he had done, I told him we were more than willing to pay the portion of the bill our gift card wouldn't cover & leave the gift card with him for when the system began to work. He politely refused & wished us a fun-filled day. This location understands the importance of customer service & definitely has earned my family's loyalty!! read more

Today, I arrived at 10:43. Hostess said 20 min. At 30 min, I asked about seating and hostess replied 3-4 min. At 52 min, the hostess couldn't give me a wait time. We left. The seats in the restaurant were less than half filled. So I guess the kitchen was backed up. I even asked for a cup of coffee with no results. Very poor management and customer service. DO NOT eat here. when my family and I first arrived we noticed an employee in the parking lot smoking and talking to someone in the car parked next to us. then saw what seemed to be a drug deal or something of the sort. the girl handed money to the man in the car and then put something in a cigarette pack. I shrugged it off until the same girl who smelled like smoke was my waitress. she smelled so bad i lost my appetite and had to send my food back. on top of that her eyes where so heavy she was almost falling asleep standing up. I don't remember her name or I would've reported her. I did try to speak with the manager but was aggressively asked to leave then escorted out. the waitress was short very thin with a lot of tattoos and gages in her ears. if I could rate this a zero I would. I should've called the police for this horrible behavior and illegal actions taken that night. I will never be returning here and advise anyone else not to as well. read more
