No a bad place at all to get that much deserved after hours bite after a night drinking with friends. Unfortunately the service is a bit lack-luster and on this particular night more interested in taking care of their security guard with free food. It still does provide sustenance when greatly required however. I know the breakfast is good too. I wish I could give this place no stars! What a disgusting excuse for a restaurant and customer service! My mom and I went in this morning for breakfast at 10am. We ordered and everything was fine. As I was drinking my coffee I felt something weird and slimy in my mouth, I spit it out only to find what looked like a piece of gum! We call our server over and told her what happened she said and I quote "you come in here all the time and complain about everything" EXCUSE ME!!!!! We have only been in this IHOP one other time and I can't remember when because it was so long ago. We then ask for the manager and he says the same thing as the server said except he added "I'm not paying for your bill" first of all how dare they accuse us if coming in all the time and complaining and secondly we were coming in for breakfast not for a free meal! Went here on a Saturday night after a concert at Sleep Train Arena. They were severely understaffed. Not the employees fault, more of the management's miscalculation. No hostess and a lobby full of clients, very slow service, again due to understaffing. I've had better experiences here, unfortunately this was not one of them. read more

Unlike the comments and reviews for this place, we found it quite good. Despite of the fact that the restaurant was busy the servers ensured that costumer satisfaction has been met. We went with our family to celebrate our little one's B'day and we had a blast. I liked their booster seat. I just stopped in to get a bite to eat and waited at the front to be seated and no one was there to greet me or seat me. The place was dead. There was only one table that had people and the rest were empty. I waited about 10-15 min and still no one to greet and seat me. Where are the people working in this place? There should be a person up front at all times! It's around 10:30pm and a slow time. That means there should be a lot least one person maintaining the front. The Saturday morning breakfast. Having this one Saturday off wanted to go for some good breakfast and what better place then IHOP. Been coming here since they opened early 2000s. The place is clean and customer service is always good. Seating can take a while since there always packed but today worked out great with only about 5minutes of wait time. The 4 starts are for overall visits her and maybe once or twice getting the bad stuff happening. Will be back tho as usually because of great food that's served hot. read more

I was there with 4 friends last night for a late dinner at 9pm. Our server disappeared for 20 minutes after taking drinks order. We were all just looking at our watch to see when she will return to take our order. When she returned to take our orders she seemed pretty tired and exhausted. Food arrived minutes later, and tasted okay. Nothing was wrong with the food. Our only complaint is the lack of service we received from the server. She never came by to refill our drinks, or to ask what else we might need. She didn't give us enough silverwares either. We had to go over to another table to take 2 silverware settings. And we were half way through eating when she brought out the check, and disappeared without refilling our drinks. We all had to chew ice because we were thirsty. We paid WITHOUT leaving a tip. I think she was having a bad day, or working too long. The manager. Should have noticed it and sent her home to rest. We blame management for the awful service. Also, we questioned the cleanliness of the restaurant. There were 3 mosquitoes circling our table, and we killed 1 of them. The other 2 came buzzing by us throughout the night. In town for training and this place was within walking distance. I figure IHOP is safe and close. Not impressed. The place was not busy but it was also before 6 on a Monday. The waitress was very sweet and prompt, but my food was just terrible. First, the menu said it came with hashbrowns, none appeared on my plate. Then it was supposed to be a turkey avocado Benny. The turkey had a fishy taste, the eggs were a little funky, the toast dry because there was no where near enough cheese sauce. I should have stuck with pancakes. read more

I was just at this IHOP, the 24 hour location, a little past 1am. The open sign was on and there was a sign on the door that said that they were closed and that the cook was on break. It was locked so I knocked to see how long they were going to be closed but the girl at the entrance ignored me. A couple was still eating inside and on their way out, I went in. I know this confused the front staff but I asked how long they would be closed if not all night. The young guy was nice and said to hold on while he asked someone behind the counter. He asked me for the time and yelled to the guy behind him what time they went on break. I heard the man say around 12:45am and then he asked the boy what time it was. The boy told him it was 1:07am and the man said he'd be on break til 2am. Then he informed me, said sorry, and left. Now, I get that staff needs their breaks. But you are a 24 hour diner. All of your lights are on, including your open signs. I took a Lyft here as my car is in the shop and when I got picked up by my new one I asked to go through the Taco Bell drive-thru next door because I was super hungry. As I was in the drive-thru I saw another couple walk up to this IHOP and upon reading their hand-written closed sign, walk away. As the employees are sitting at one of the tables in clear view, mind you. I've eaten here plenty of times and it was great. This time however, was really just exceptionally poor service. **I will edit to mention how dirty this place was at the time I came in as well. Where do I start? First off I will start saying we did have a large party of 15 people that they were able to seat right away, but that is because we were some of the only customers in the restaurant. There was maybe 3 or 4 other tables of people with no more than 4 people eating at each of those tables. I ordered a fruit punch that came out tasting like watery kool-aid. I told the waitress and asked to replace it with something else since the fruit punch was not good. She told me she couldn't recommend anything because she only drinks the water there. I thought that was odd, especially since I didn't ask for a recommendation but I took it as a warning and just got water (which I emptied within minutes since it was 95 outside but never did get a refill). It took almost 45 minutes to get our food (aside from the salad and a soup that came out for two people in our party right away). I ordered an appetizer that came out with my food instead of before. The waitress disappeared between the time she brought out the soup and salad until we saw our food. After I was finished eating (my mediocre omelet) I noticed our waitress bring someone at the other end of our table their food. I was so hungry I never noticed they never got their food. It had been over a hour since he had received his salad but never got the main dish. His wife had to go get a waitress from the other side of the restaurant and alert her to the issue. Then when it was time to pay the waitress brought us all checks with food items from other people on them. We had asked her before we ordered for separate checks and she told us we would do it after we ate. Well she never asked us how we wanted them split, she just assumed that people sitting together were together, etc. We just figured it out on our own and exchanged money instead of having her redo our checks. When I went to pay I showed my military ID, we eat at the Ihop in Fairfield and Vacaville, CA a lot and always get a discount, the cashier just looked at my ID and rang me up with no discount. So I asked her about it and she rudely responded, "we don't do that anymore." OK. Then I over heard our waitress laughing to someone in the kitchen how the guy in our party just sat there at the table so long and never said anything about not getting his food (I guess it there is something wrong with someone being patient and assuming you are going to do YOUR job). I asked him if they charged him for his food and they had, which I also find outrageous. This is one Ihop I will never give my business to again. read more

This place has changed, our server ghazala needs more training because this is not the ihop i know and i came hungry but did not leave happy. she ignored us most of our visit. What gets me is as soon as someone of the same race comes in she gives him 100% then i noticed most of the staff is the same race. So here i am asking for a refill 3 times before i get it. She got my order wrong and offered no apology, we didn't even get a hello. I had to ask a busser for utensils. There were only 2 other tables she was waiting on so there is no excuse. I love IHop. BUT the reason I am rating this two stars is due to the fact that they somehow don't know what over medium eggs are. Every time I order them, they come back to me with the outside egg whites cooked but around the yolk is completely raw. I would send them back but seeing as I order to go and take my breakfast to work, it is not an option. So word to the wise, if you're going to order eggs, do it IN the diner. If you call in an order ahead of time, give them an additional 15min on top of what they told you it will take. read more

The service was so good and we were on a long drive back to the bay area so it was really nice to go to a place in the middle of the night when everything is shut. Walked in. Left unless than 15 seconds. 3 co workers standing together as I walked, did not greet me. Looked at me and my member as if we were ghosts. I say "2". One worker says ok I said how long is the wait. They say maybe 15 minutes. I look to my right, dirty table that hasn't been cleaned, I look in the corner another table empty while there's families waiting to be seated. A business is supposed to be on top of game 24/7 not when feel like it. A good worker would clean the place at any costs to promote more business and to keep a customer.
