My sister, our children, and I came in for breakfast and were seated quickly . Our drink orders were also taken quickly. However, our initial server never came to take our order! Fortunately, another server, Erica, stepped in to assist us. She provided excellent service taking our order efficiently, ensuring our food arrived quickly, and consistently checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. In the area early for an appointment and wanted to grab breakfast beforehand. Five stars for the excellent service and how quickly my order was taken, and my food arrived. The food was good as I ordered the pancake combo. When I finished my food the bill quickly arrived and the gentleman I believe was the manager assisted me with my IHOP gift card. Came here on Christmas Day for some lunch with the family. I received excellent customer service from our server Jared and he was very knowledgeable of the menu. He allowed us enough time to look over the menu without rushing us because it was pretty busy. I appreciate the calm demeanor and consideration. The Wonka burger is super delicious and cheaper than the rest of the burgers, although it has bacon and avocado. The fries were kind of room temperature, but the burger was steaming hot. I really enjoyed the burger and I'd definitely be back for it. The pancakes were delicious and soft. The restrooms were decent, but missing toilet paper. Besides that, it was really nice here. Not really my favorite IHoP location, I usually went the one in Redlands where the Service much more friendly. This location Staff is helpful and attentive. The ambiance - not enough lighting, the room so dimmed. I ordered the Lemon Ricotta mixed berry. I am comparing with other IHOP to make it fair, the crepe not done right its thicker than usual and smaller. The Ricotta is less, I meant hardly in it. and as you can see no mixed berry just (not so fresh) blueberries. A little disappointing, but hoping next visit will be better. read more

Stayed out in San Bernardino for Rolling Loud CA 2021 and walked here with my friends. Not much to expect from an IHOP but the service was poor, didn't get refills of water unless we asked, the plates plate sizes don't even make sense considering the food on the plates is so little. My friend ordered an over easy egg and it came out closer to raw than to an actual over easy egg, while my over easy eggs were fine, so it isn't like they don't know how to properly cook and over easy egg. I believe our server was new, as a different server kept having to come check up on us and telling the other server what to do. Service: 4/10 I ordered the country bowl, removed the ham, chose bacon instead (normally comes with ham and sausage) and I opted out of scrambled eggs and chose over easy (they are made with scrambled normally, no choice given unless requested). Instead of pancakes on the side I chose hash browns, and just dumped the hash browns over the bowl and mixed it from there (since the bowl doesn't even have potatoes...) Would I order this again? I rarely eat at IHOP (probably the first time in years) but if I had to eat here again I'd choose the bowl but only if I am able to customize it again like how I did, because I don't like ham or scrambled eggs. The size of the actual plate was huge compared to the amount of food as well... Country bowl: 7/10 only because I customized it to my liking. They couldn't have had more than $3-$5 total in the ingredients. $19.99 for the "Big Steak Omelette" alone. It's not about what I can "afford," it's the simple price gouging that's just maddening. 4 strips of bacon - $5.99 for a 4 piece side of bacon? At retail prices that's about $2 worth of bacon, inflated 200%. I'd totally support a nationwide protest / boycott of businesses that are engaged in this practice. For scruffed drunk people food this place was dope with the service. Normally I expect good service at high quality restaurants and not chains but this IHOP in particular nailed the idea of good service. We constantly got water filled, a time frame on when the food will arrive, and pleasantries despite the entire place filled to the brim due to the nearby event that we're going to. Just note what allergies you know of because there is pancake batter in the omelets. VERY important if you care about wheat or gluten. I would normally complain of slow service, but given that every table was filled with 4-6 people, and I mean EVERY table, this IHOP managed to pull through hence I think they deserve more stars for the effiency of what they serve. Only last complaint is that IHOP food can be a little pricey with the extra $1 micro transactions for things like extra cheese bacon and such but overall I've left pretty satisfied. read more

I'm normally an avid ihop fan and prefer ihop over dennys but todays meal was not good. At first glance the new menu items looked appetizing but were a disappointment. Ordered the biscuits and gravy combo and the gravy was just plain gross. It was somehow both bland and stale tasting. Also ordered their version of jalapeño poppers, just skip it and get it from Jack in the box if you're craving them. All elements of the appetizer was off, from the cheese to the jalapeños and the breading. They were pretty awful. Two of my four pork sausages were cut into like the cook wasn't sure it was fully cooked or not, and yet still the other two sausages were cold. So I'm a bit perplexed as to how that occurred. Turkey bacon wasn't cooked to crispy just basically soggy flat pieces that were microwaved. Just because the Turkey bacon comes fully cooked it doesn't mean you shouldn't still fry them so they crisp up. And yet the worst issue was the cleanliness. They served me a glass of water with clearly someone else's lipstick still stuck on the glass. Super unsanitary. I came to get some waffles not some cold sores. The server wasn't the best, she forgot some items and made some mistakes on our order but she seemed to be nice and trying her best so I'll try not to blame her too much. Although, still when serving customers you should still check glasses and utensils before serving them even if they are "clean." Our server was seriously amazing today! He was super attentive and willing to make a couple trips back and forth to the kitchen because we kept asking for extra stuff. He had 3 tables in there when we went and he was just as attentive to everyone else as he was to us. He was really friendly which is sometimes hard to come by in an IHOP or dennys type restaurant. Oh! The place was also SPOTLESS. Like the cleanest ihop I've ever been to and I've grown up here and been to a lot of them. Our server was even wiping down the lights above the tables in his spare time and again, most places like that have dust and stuff all over the place.
