Great service. Wait time was longer than expected. They said 20 min but it was more like 35. But ok and understandable since it's a popular day and new place in town. Service great staff had great attitude Service and food delivery and sequence of service was good. I ordered the lemon ricotta and blueberry French toast and coffee and it was wonderful. Sausage, eggs, and hashbrowns we're also delicious While I was eating at least four different staff approached to check in, considering this place is full and jam packed. This place is awesome!!! We went on a Saturday morning and it was super packed but they gave us a pager and waited. It took about 25 minutes for us to get seated. We were really impressed by the service. The waiter was very attentive and even asked if we wanted lemon or water and any extra sauces which was so nice! We both got breakfast combos because we wanted both sweet and savory. I ordered the world famous pancake combo that comes with your choice of 2 pancakes (I chose the lemon ricotta protein pancakes), choice of breakfast meat, hash browns, and eggs. Food and service bad. We had breakfast everything was dry on both eggs hash browns and pancakes waffles and meats , the cup for tea was dirty with dry food on the cup. Waitress never checked to see how we were or if we needed anything. I had to flag her down to ask for butter. Worst food ever. I don't recommend this location I'll never return. read more

Don't bother coming here, bad service, bad food, seems they play preference with people.

We've been here three times, each time for breakfast. The first time was during the soft opening. The food was really good, and so was the coffee. And I love that they place an 80's station. The second time was a few months later. The food was ...ok. I tried not to judge them too poorly, as I'd ordered eggs benedict, and that can be tricky. We went the last time in January. We went super early, as we had a really busy morning schedule. We were the first people in there. Two more couples came in and that was it. We had already ordered when the others came in. We get our order and it was not very good. The food was cold, even though we'd been the first order. Cold eggs, cold pancakes, rubbery toast. Don't think we'll be going back. We were excited to finally try out the new IHOP! Tried the other week but it was packed out which is expected with new place in area. We went this morning and got seated right away. Then we sat and sat. Nobody came to our table to take our order but everyone was getting their orders taken around us that sat down after us. We waited longer. Still the waitress never came. Then a couple sat down at a nearby table and got their order taken within 2 minutes. We probably sat there 20 minutes. Finally walked out. Horrible. read more

Went to check out this location for the first time. My 5 star rating is mainly based off the service. Food was pretty much what you can expect from an ihop, it came out very quick which was surprising, due to the Cherry festival going on. The service alone was great, everyone we encountered was super friendly and multiple people checked on us as they walked by our table. Typically when restaurants are busy you can expect to be overlooked a few times and be left waiting for any type of service for a while lol. There was a guy, did not get his name, with glasses and a shaved head who was super nice! And the guy who i believe is manager was extremely friendly and joking around with a lot of the customers making the overall environment feel very pleasant. Although ihope in general is not my first choice for breakfast, i would definitely visit this place again due to the pleasant staff. read more

Terrible service. I saw that the IHOP opened and was really excited to stop by. I had gotten the eggs Benedict with bacon and pancakes with a milkshake on the side. The eggs Benedict eggs was basically two hard boiled eggs with hollandaise sauce, bacon and English muffin. I've never had a eggs Benedict like this and it was not good. On the other hand the pancakes were so fluffy and the Oreo milkshake was super tasty. Overall, it was super upsetting that there was so many people working, no one came to get our order - I had to flag someone down. Then he said he couldn't take our order because he wasn't our sever. Later on, when we got the bill which we had to flag another female waiter down - she said she would let our waiter know and waited 15-20 minutes for our bill. We put our card down and no one came to get it so we decided to pay cash and left. I'm pretty patient but honestly, I wouldn't come back here again because that was a terrible experience. read more

This IHOP is new to our area. Treated my granddaughter to lunch at this location. She thoroughly enjoyed her food. She had a cupcake pancake, bacon, and scrambled eggs. Her only complaint was that the bacon left a little grease on her fingers. I had a t-bone steak with loaded mashed potatoes and green beans. The steak was tough or as my granddaughter said "chewey". Although it did have a good taste. The loaded mashed potatoes did not quite have that loaded look or taste but they were ok. My green beans were cooked well. There appeared to be only one waitress. We came in early afternoon. I didn't feel like we received the attention we should from the waitress. But I put it off to the fact that she was working by herself for the whole restaurant. read more

While I'm normally not keen on going to IHOP this new location is good. Service from what I expected was well met with competitive attention. Staff was well on point and made sure not once but multiple times that we were good and that everything was ok. Anything we needed was asked before we could ask. Although I didn't take any pictures the food was on point and tasted better than the other location and was hot to the touch. The breakfast we had everything was done the way we asked and even gave recommendations before we ordered on what was good and what was being eaten the most. The area inside is clean with someone going around making sure it stays that way. It is located where the old sizzler used to be which is in a good area seen from the streets and inside the plaza is a well good amount of parking as well. read more

If I could do No Stars I would. This was my first time experience at this IHOP location and it was the worst I have ever had anywhere. Not to mention this place was chosen for my birthday breakfast and I didn't even enjoy it. We got there and put in our drinks order. What was suppose to be a Mango Ice tea got delivered as a regular ice tea, when I sent it back it came back with barely a splash of mango in regular iced tea. Continuing through we had 6 of us. So large party understanding of some issues, but no everything was a mess. All of our food arrived cold. French toast with Bananas was requested without the strawberry, we got 6 tiny banana pieces. The bacon wasn't edible, it was like chewing on a flavorless rock, and the hashbrowns had no flavor and weren't completely cooked. Then on my personal meal, New York Cheesecake Pancakes (my favorite) my strawberries were frozen. My waitress took the plate back and brought out a new plate with strawberries on the side in a cup. Again the strawberries were frozen. At this point i was hungry and wanted to eat so I started on my pancakes. I got 2 bites in and could tell something was off. I got no cheesecake pieces in my pancakes. We ended up leaving the food we couldnt eat and asked for the check. The systems were down the ENTIRE time we were there. So guess what, when it came time to pay it was a problem again. We planned to use our apple pay, but due to system being down we had to wait, so I left to go home and get my card because they needed me to WRITE DOWN THE INFORMATION, which at this point I'm going really why so my information can be stolen because I haven't seen one professional moment in this place. Finally they get the apple pay to work. $107 for this meal and my entire experience was garbage. And not once did a manager come to the aid of their employees or try to fix situations. What a joke this place is, I'll won't be going back anytime soon, if ever. read more

Been here twice since opening, in the early am and pm dinner time. Both time been exemplary in service and food. Factoring in the momentum and renewed energy from a new opening. I'm optimistic that this place can be a model for others. and not beset by the lack of quality, service and give a damn like emeryville and nearby hayward. Sitting here minding my own business, I can see ANA proactively delegating and attending to the operating and taking care of a business. Overall, excellent team work at all level at this location. The service from when you first walk in was great. We were greeted by Jonathan, who was also our waiter. We were sat down immediately and given our drinks right away. He was attentive to our needs and was very intuitive when it came to helping us. Some of our guests were more needy than usual and without hesitation or annoyance he meet their needs and got them what they requested in a timely manner.
