IHOP used to be one of my favorite places to go for pancakes, but now their service is completely and utterly atrocious. I ordered a pancake combo meal from IHOP and it was just aggravating. This is not the first time I've been disappointed from their take out system. When I received my food everything was cold and to be honest, not tasty at all! I asked them to make sure that my toppings for my pancakes were placed in my to go bag, but when I checked nothing was in there. They need to fix that. read more

This location is going down hill for me. I started to cook my own breakfast and I should have now that this exp. was a disappointment. I stressed to the waiter over the phone while placing my order exactly what I wanted she gave me a price that was incorrect so I asked her to repeat what I ordered and we got it corrected after a 1000 times of me repeating myself over the phone. And when my husband picked the order up and got home it was still wrong wow! all i can do is laugh i am not upset just disappointed. Floor was grossly sticky. Fork was dirty. Coffee yuck. They were out of the newly seasonal hot chocolate. On the other hand the restroom must have been clean cause the cleaner/air freshener smell was so overwhelming I couldn't stay in there long enough to use the restroom. read more

The new management there is completely horrible. Every time I come in he has an attitude and reeks of smoke. I even saw him smoking once outside the building. Just makes the dining experience sickening. I know he is smoking outside and this is a smoke free restaurant, but smoking outside the doors is acceptable? Also saw him and another manager mistreat one of the servers there while they dined in. They were just blatantly disrespectful and mocking her while she served them and she wasn't even doing anything wrong. I've been going to this IHOP since 2004 and I haven't this kind of behavior from management. I am not going to be dining there for much longer. read more

I have Always loved pancakes and that why i love i hop but just because i love pancakes doesnt mean they are the best. One time I was at IHOP. I was eating breakfast and Our waiter started eating at the table right next to us. She was just talking away while we waited for our food. But over all that wait was werth it. read more

Ugh. Hadn't been here in 4 years and haven't missed anything. Although there was only 3-4 other booths occupied, it took 40+ minutes for a small stack of pancakes and an omelet-type sandwich on sourdough--nothing exotic. If I could leave no stars I would. The experience I just had was horrible and I will NEVER come back! Me and my boyfriend spent over an hour in there waiting for our food and when it finally came out our order was wrong. We waited another 20 minutes for them to fix it when we finally got tired of waiting and decided that we didn't want it and would rather go to Chick-ful-A. When our server finally came over for us to tell him, HE WAS UPSET! How dare you feel upset that we don't want to wait another hour for our food! Stopped by IHOP for a quick breakfast while traveling down 95. Got the pancake combo which came with scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns. I ate nothing else the entire day and was puking all night long. I had no fever to speak of and had gotten a flu shot.. it had to be the scrambled eggs. Hubby did not get ill and he had fried eggs. I bet they use a egg "mix" for scrambled and it was not refrigerated properly. It ruined my weekend. This place is not safe. read more

We go here whenever my kid gets to pick. They're consistent: the tables are always filthy when they seat us and covered in syrup, they always act surprised when I say I'm sticking to the surface, the staff is always less than thrilled, and the food is always blah. read more

Worst ihop location I have ever been to. I have never had a server completely ignore our table for so long. It took 30 minutes for our drink order to be taken. Although the food came pretty quick after our order was taken, we had to wait 45 more minutes for our check to come because our server disappeared to make phone calls in the restroom. My boyfriend and I came in about noon to have breakfast. There was a 5 minute way. No biggie. The manager standing there with the hostess then asked if we would like to sit out on the patio so we wouldn't have to wait (what a gentlemen) but it was a bit too chilly. So we said no we would rather wait the 5 minutes. He then sees a table open up and just as its finished getting cleaned, he seats us right away. Our waiter Ronald, was very prompt, friendly and helpful. Anyways, back to why we came in. We visited IHOP because we heard they now had pumpkin pancakes. When they came out, they looked amazing. And boy they were AMAZING. I loved them with the butter pecan syrup (not so much the old fashioned syrup). We also had omelets and hashbrowns and that all came out hot and yummy too. Ronald kept our drinks full and made sure we were doing good the whole time there. There was not only one manager going around asking if everything was ok, but two. Food is decent and bathrooms are clean but as far as customer service goes, it's terrible. I mean it is conveniently located but I much rather drive all the way to the Denny's in Woodbridge or the IHOP over in Fredericksburg. My family lives close by and so we go here fairly often but we've only had one good experience so far. I believe the only waiter who was actually really nice and attentive was a Hispanic guy, too bad I don't remember his name. Last time we were here there were only a couple of people sitting in there and there waiters just standing around while we were waiting to be seated, we finally did get seated but had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to actually approach our table and offer us something to drink..I had to get up and ask THEM for coffee and some juice for my daughter, the white male who I ran into and took my drink order did not even apologize for the delay in taking our order and just left the drinks on the table. How rude!!! I said something to him about making us wait when there is not even that many people in the place but even then he did not apologize. Regardless, the food is not that great that would make me or my family want to come back so we are not. read more

This is not the place to go if you have more than 4 people. The service is absolutely terrible for larger groups. A group of elderly ladies had to wait over an hour and a half just to get their food. I took my mother out to eat today during my lunch break at this Ihop, we were VERY disappointed. The waitresses were very rude and gave us the stink eye for the rest of our visit, just after we asked if we could use two coupons (one of which was a voucher/gift card). We were fine doing separate checks, but they told us we had to sit at two different tables. WHAT!? Took forever to resolve the coupons issue and send someone to take our orders. Our order didn't come for another 30 minutes, making me late to get back to work. And we ordered TOGO! I ordered a salad and they didn't give me dressing, and they gave me a spoon... For salad! Those waitresses must have done it on purpose. SO RUDE. They also messed up my moms order by forgetting her hash browns. Needless to say, I wont recommend it to anyone. I have already told all of my coworkers to avoid it like the plague. read more

I have never had a bad experience with this IHOP until today. At around 5:00pm, my wife and I along with our baby decided to have dinner at this location since we were staying at a hotel close by. Waking in, we were greeted by a young girl and asked if "that" will fit in a booth. I assumed she was referring to the car seat our baby was in but the way she said came across very cold and not welcoming at all. She walked us to an empty section of the restaurant with only one other booth having two young Marines sitting close by. Turns out the baby seat could not squeeze into the booth so she grabs a booster that is specifically designed to hold a car seat! Why she didn't just offer that from the beginning baffles me! So, after being seated, we sat and waited for roughly 15 minutes with not once being approached by a waitress to take our drink order! Again, to reiterate, the place was nearly empty! After we decided we had waited enough and elected to leave and go eat somewhere else, as we were walking past the hostess station on our way out, there were probably around (4) employees standing around and joking loudly with each other! They went silent as we walked by and I heard one clearly say, "oh well" and giggled with the other girls! I have never experienced this level of unprofessional at this location or at any other IHOP I have eaten at before this incident. Needless to say, we will not be back to this location. We enjoy IHOP and do not look at this as a reflection of he chain itself but there was a clear breakdown in basic management and supervision at this location that was grossly incompetent! read more

Food is typical Ihop food and service is typically good, however the tables being packed in like sardines kills the entire experience! Every time my husband and I go (not often because of this) we are seated right outside the kitchen doorway at a 2-top table that has about 4 inches between it and the table to the left. One side of the table your back is almost against the table behind you, the other side you're sticking out in the walk way between your back and the booth behind you. I always sit in the walkway side so my hair doesn't end up in the food of the table behind us, and my chair gets hit countless times by wait staff and customers trying to walk through. The walkways around the tables in that area are tight all around and today there was a server lifting a tray full of dirty dishes up over the back of a chair and lost a plate that broke on the floor and almost hit the lady at the table next to us as it was falling to the floor. Then a server lifted a very wet chair up over my back dumping water all down my neck and arm. I don't see how the table configuration in that area is safe and allowed by the fire marshall. The couple at the table next to us had to move their table for the lady to get out because our table on her left, a table at her back and another customer's chair to her right had her boxed in. She was a rather petite woman too. If there were a fire or other emergency people wouldn't be able to evacuate very quickly. They really need to change their table set up. read more
