In the pursuance of masochism I tried to dine at IHOP on a Saturday evening. Waited 15 minutes in the lobby to be seated, but there was no host, and no one came to greet me. By the looks of it there was one waitress and one busboy for the entire restaurant. Figured it would have been a 20 minute wait to be seated, 20 minutes to order, 30 minutes for the food to come out, and 10 minutes to receive the check. The establishment was at best 1/3 filled. I've been coming to this ihop very frequently. I always get amazing service. My server Michelle was very helpful when i asked her about the wheel of fortune they have placed at the front lobby. I've never been here without some massive issue. The weekend morning manager, Iris, just blew my expectations out of the water today with awful service. After waiting 20 minutes in a near empty restaurant, and asking them FIVE TIMES about my order they went from "it's almost ready" to "still working on it" to "we lost the order and aren't going to be remaking it." Meanwhile I'm seeing her hugging friends or family or something that came to dine while lying to me and the other dude waiting for our pickups. The manager here is awful. She treats the other staff terribly! It was so gross they gave me a plate that had a previous meal on it with stuck on cheese and jalapeños. When getting the manager she tried to blame the server and say she brought the wrong burger (it was the correct order) she gaslit us and tried to convince us that my husband and I accidentally swapped meals. Neither of us had anything with jalapeño or Colby Jack shredded cheese. She was so rude and tried to only talk to my husband even though I was the one complaining. Alright I haven't been here at this IHOP or any others for a couple of years but I still remember all my experiences, First thing's first I didn't get much from this place, of course I got pancakes which by far are one of the best pancakes from any place, But i mainly got a grilled cheese with fries before they removed the grilled cheese, and on the occasion a salad, so I'm not reviewing most of this places food or anything else since I do not go here anymore so don't expect my review to show everything this place is k? Besides the food which at the time was great Mainly it was to play card games with the fam, Fun and entertaining since we knew how long our food would come so we had enough time for 1 to 2 games. This is a great place to go with the family but alas as I said we don't go here much anymore only pick it up to-go, So an ok time all around those days and good place to eat with family or play cards while you wait. They are not substituting extra avocados for pancakes or fruit that supposed to come on the side. The dish already comes with avocados but they didn't want to do it. only thing good about experience was the pancakes. hostess was selling a gift card. I waited 10 minutes. she told another gal to seat me. no one said hello or acknowledged my existence. the gal sat me, didn't say a word. another 10 minutes later the waitress took my order. a bidder, or food runner ran it out. no biggie, but, where's my decaf? where's my blueberry syrup? I love IHOP but I would definitely avoid this specific location. Everything is way over cooked. Harsh brown is burned to a point where you can smell the smoke when open the box. 02/01/20: Today was the second and last time to this location. A employee was cleaning the doors outside and she absolutely should of greeted us but we were ignored trying to budge the door open. 160 Adriana was our waitress and our cashier. Our food had a long hair in it when she set it down on the table. She than said, not mine. She took 2x2x2 back to the kitchen and brought a new one out with no apology. When it was time to pay, I asked for a manager and she kept on stalling and making excuses. Jose said sorry and I thanked him for his time. Adriana rolled her eyes and walked away. Ihop is always a good idea! I love their 2x2x2 breakfasts with scrambled eggs and sausage. They have really good omlettes as well. They are large with plenty of your choice of ingredients. This restaurant is located in a huge shopping center next to a lobster house. It feels cozy & looks very clean. I have been to this location so many times and always had a good experience. The servers are very sweet. To start with, i usually get a coffee with milk on the side. The pancakes here taste really good. I love how they present different flavors of syrup on each table.
