Few IHOPs are ever really great. When I lived in Wichita, this IHOP was decent, serviceable. Not at all on our most recent and last trip. I should have gotten the hint when we pulled up on a Sunday morning and we could get a parking space and there was plenty of seating. Despite the wide open seats, it took a while to get us a seat because they were woefully understaffed. This corner of Wichita has experienced great growth in restaurants, and it appears IHOP has lost people to other competition. The service was dreadfully slow. The drink orders were delivered to the wrong table and then they had to refill them. The bacon and sausage didn't taste right. The hashbrowns were inconsistently cooked. Some of us got nice crispy hashbrowns. Some, like my wife and I, got undercooked hashbrowns. Meh. Not worth my time. We'll go elsewhere for breakfast. read more

Good food and fresh.....few things of concern while waiting half an hour for our seats. My lady pointed out an employee eating a crouton off of a customer's salad in the making. She obviously was savoring it, because she was licking her fingers and going back for seconds...really?! Any wifi here? Yes, it's just password protected. You have to ask the server for the login info, which I did. I tried the wifi, but i was unable to join. Why not just leave the wifi open like the all the other ihops? Disappointed. We came in, store half empty. We were the only ones waiting and told to wait five minutes. Didn't ask for a name or anything. Another couple came in and sat down and were seated in two minutes. We were totally disregarded and chose to leave. First impressions really set the tone for your business. read more

The restaurant is absolutely filthy. The walls have food splattered on them. The lights have dead bugs. The air vents are crusted over with dirt, dust and filth. Busy, yes but allowed for that. Poor service. Waitress stood talking to table she knew. I got my own coffee. Bill was wrong. Both got bacon added & charged, neither ordered it. We followed menu 'pick a protein' (grilled chicken)and insert it in chosen sandwich. She did NOT know how menu works, then argued picture of 3 'burgers' (protein) showed bacon. Just called to ask about an item it wouldn't let me place online. I just needed a little help. I couldn't understand the person on the phone due to her accent. She kept telling me to order online I think and then she hung up. The was me first experience at this location. Please don't offer them your business. Honestly if you give this place any red stars you must have the wrong restaurant! We had breakfast all 3 of us and the bacon was raw, I did send it back, the hash browns were burnt on all our plates. My eggs were way over cooked. My mom ordered toast and it was dry no butter. One issue I can overlook but this was just ridiculous. It's not really the waitresses fault but if I were the waitress I would not have brought this crap to the table in the first place. To top it all off I talked to the manager on the way out and all he said was I'm sorry! I will never go back. I will drive all the way out east if I want to eat at IHop and that's doubtful. read more

My wife never receiver her food. 10 minutes after everyone one else at the table finished they bought out a to go box. (As we walked out the door and did not take.) The manager Raheem fully aware of problem never came over to acknowledge the mistake or apologize. The check had to be corrected 3 times. We ordered on a Sunday evening breakfast with blueberry pancakes (May 10, 2020). The pancakes were amazing, the eggs and steak were undercooked despite communicated preferences. Ordered blueberry pancakes, eggs, chicken fried steak w/gravy the next day late afternoon. Blueberry pancakes had berries in the very center in a space a little bigger than a quarter. Those were the only berries, but the rest of it was good. Since the pancakes were the big draw, we were thoroughly disappointed in the pancakes after the great experience we'd just had. Friend took me here recently. Are used to go to this Ihop all the time growing up from when I was a young kid until I was a teenager and this place was always fun. Unfortunately after having visited there again I can see this location has gone way downhill. The restaurant overall looks, smells, and even feels dirty. All of the food from this location does not taste right at all, and almost taste as if all of the pots and pans they used to cook are 20 years old, it just doesn't taste fresh at all. Like other reviewer said it seems like they were way understaffed, although the staff they did have were super nice and helpful. This location really needs to be updated and cleaned thoroughly. I'm sure I'll end up eating again here at some point in the future because I have so many friends out west, but I'm definitely going to avoid it for at least a year or two. read more

Very pleased with our experience tonight. My wife and 4 boys and I had dinner or more appropriately "brupper" for only $23! For a place that's open 24 hours a day ut was relatively clean, mens bathroom was not dirty, not amazing, but not bad. Food was as ordered, seems it could have been hotter. I just had by far the worst dining experience possibly ever at this location. Not busy at all, didn't get us seated for over 5 minutes because no one checked the front desk. Our server was a total joke, who has no business waiting tables. Took 15 mins to get our drinks ordered, longer to get them. We were there for over an hour before our food came in which time our waiter never checked on us. Half the food was cold. We had to ask for multiple items multiple times before they were received. We brought my mother here for brunch for her birthday. I had the garden omelette, which was okay, but the eggs were overcooked. My mother had the strawberry pancakes, but they were drowned in imitation strawberry syrup and so soggy she couldn't eat them. We have eaten at many iHops before but have to say Ahmed K was the BEST server we have had in a long time ANYWHERE! Josh who is unfortunately the GM has a tendency to decide to be discriminative towards customers and also believes that's OK to hang up on customers over and over again. The girl Maya also hung up in our faces repeatedly they also went to insults and they wouldn't let us order our food. I have absolutely no idea why any of this would happen and I have no I Dia why they chose to go to that level of unprofessionalism but I will never be going back to this location. They're very discriminatory, they are very unprofessional. He absolutely refused to talk to us on the phone when we are simply trying to place a to go order. Him, Miyah and josh should not have their jobs because they don't know how to do them quite frankly. They don't know how to do their jobs. They are the most unprofessional people I have ever come across and none of them should be keeping their jobs based on the performance tonight and I would absolutely recommend never coming over here because this is a place is discriminative, unprofessional through and through I don't even know if they received any training because it seems that they do not know how to handle any customer service situations. read more

A friend and I ate here on 03/14/2018 during the brunch rush (10:00ish). We were seated right away and the server came to take our order within a couple minutes of sitting down. I wanted the new International pancakes, but didn't want four pancakes so we asked the server for a smaller portion and she recommended the combo with two pancakes, bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns which was perfect. The food came out quickly and was delicious! Lupe our server was great. Food was as expected from any IHOP and made for a great start to the day. My only complaint related to curb appeal and interior keep-up. Entry to building was very dirty and made for a poor first impression. Booths and tables are really showing wear and need some paint. Staff made up for these, but someone should address. read more

I would like to sincerely thank the staff at this location for their kindness and attention. I was supposed to meet several people here and waited over an hour for them to show, and they didn't. The staff was courteous, asked how I was several times, and offered to let me order food on several occasions add I waited. When I finally decided I'd had enough I'd waiting on my party, they were kids enough to not charge me for the hot cider I'd sipped while waiting. I called to place an order, the lady said she couldn't take my order that I had to do it online, so I did. I placed the order online , it said my food would be ready at 2:23am. So just make sure I wouldn't side around a wait for my food I arrived at 2:30 am AND JUST TO FIND OUT THAT FOOD WASNT READY !!!!! It took them 15-20 more minutes to get my food ready. I can't say enough about this place and the kindness of one of their managers, Brahim. I went there in October during a cross-country tour, and my food was great. But, I accidentally left behind a nice pair of sunglasses that I had received as a gift, and by the time I realized my mistake I was in another state and had no opportunity to go back. I called and was eventually connected with Brahim, the manager on the floor that day. He offered to mail the sunglasses to me, and though my location was a bit of a moving target (being on tour) we were able to find a place he could mail them in New York that I could pick them up. I offered to pay the postal fees, which he politely declined. When I received them in the mail, there was a little note from the IHOP Wichita family that wished me well, AND the sunglasses were in a case that he had purchased for me to keep them safe in the mail!! I had no reason to expect this kind of generosity, but nonetheless, I received my sunglasses safe and sound, and the case is great! Talk about going the extra mile. Terrible service bad food would not recommend my food was undercooked didn't come the way I asked.

Came in tonight during shift change I believe, servers were to worried about getting off and going home than to take care of my friend and I. We waited 10-15 minutes for someone to greet us, while waiting for our server we heard a little altercation between what was believed to be a manager and a server as everything is open so you can hear, he was walking around whispering in other servers ears and then walked up to her and blatantly asked her if she was putting in her two weeks and laughed in her face and made it a joke when she said yes, very unprofessional way to run a business you guys!! If I was her I wouldn't want to work here either after seeing how you so called managers treat your employees. Food took 30 minutes to come out and it was COLD!!! Service was excellent, Robin took amazing care of us and our coffees were always full. 5 stars for Robin. We gave that other girl $20 tonight because no employee should ever be treated this way! I found a hair in my food, that i waited on for 25+ minutes on a slow Thursday morning, and the manager came and explained that one of the chefs hadnt put on his "beard net" the manager asked to SEE THE HAIR to comp the meal, they took off $1.99..... as someone who works in the food industry, i believe the situation should have been handled completely different. disgusting. our poor waitress was so apologetic and sweet, just didn't have any control of the slacking staff behind her. read more

Not bad place. I have always had an issue with ihop...the stuff French toast is never made right...at first I thought it's wasn't cooked all the way...well to my surprise it was hot. Food was fine and the waiter was nice too. It was clean and the music was not loud either. Our waiter Andrew, did a great job and should be asked for by name. The IHOP itself was clean and organized. Our server took our drink order, came back for the food order.... "Checked" on us once when i asked for the check. Totally ignored us after that. Spent ten minutes talking to a lovely old lady while he leaned on another table. I had to seek someone else to ask for a togo box and the rest of our needs. I asked for the check because i was done, yes, but the kiddo was still not done. We tried asking for a cup for her choc milk but *no one* heard us... (He was too busy talking) thats when we decided to just take her food to go if we could get a box from someone else.
