This was the second time I've been to twin peaks. It definitely impressed me. I used to Hooters customer but Twin peaks has better food by far. It is a loud sports bar so don't expect to have a voice if you come with a group. I let felt clean when we walked in. All the staff were pleasant. My husband and I shared a meal due to not being extremely hungry. The adult Mac and cheese was one of the best tasting sides for me. I would definitely come back if I am ever in Wichita again. read more

So a buddy and I got caught in a Wichita snow and ice storm. We were staying in a hotel at the airport. We called around and this was literally the only place open! Which was not a bad thing, I really appreciated them being there to serve us.. The place was packed! And short staffed. But the service was still exceptional at the bar.. Food was really good! My Son took me out for dinner for Mothers Day. My meal was the cheapest thing on the menu, chicken tenders which were hot and very good. My fries were a very small amount and ice cold, I asked for some hot fries the waitress brought me a bowl of fries and they were also soggy and ice cold. Coleslaw had no flavor at all. Bloody Mary had so much spice and Tabasco I could not drink it and sent it back, it burnt my throat and stomach. Son got the all you can eat onion strings that had good flavor but very greasy, he had the meat pizza which was ok but not worth shy of $20. He got a gift card at a sports banquet that allowed him to take me out. We were very disappointed and he kept telling me how sorry he was that my Mothers Day dinner wasn't good. Just left after passing through Wichita, Ks put in a to go order and waited well over 20 min for it after I arrived at the time it said to be there, then to top it all off, half the wings are dry as can be and the extra sauce/ranch I ordered and paid for also not in the bag. Wow how you have tumbled. Saturday night 9 of us. One of us didn't get her drink while the rest of us did. Waitress kept vanishing. Our nachos were soggy when we finally got them, guacamole was brown. Not the best experience Grand daughter's nachos didn't look soggy. She ordered hers after ours , Son ordered the meatballs IT CAME without THE BREAD!!!! . Orders took 30 minutes to get to the table on the second round. our nachos took 35-40 along with the missing drink WE were regulars here and KC plus we have traveled all over the United States and I've been to almost everyone of them. Ended up here because it was Mother's Day, everywhere else had long waits and we were on our way to the airport. I'm pretty fussy about restaurant food but ordered the trout. I have to say, I was amazed at how good the whole dinner was, a nice piece of fish alongside some well cooked vegetables and rice. Service was good and the beer was cold. I have to admit that I was a little disappointed when part of my meal was missing but that changed when I called twin peaks and the manager Josh got on the phone with me. He was very nice and said that he was very sorry about the situation and he had a new hire and that instead of just coming back to get the missing meal but to come back and he would get us dinner on him and I very impressed with his attitude and ability to handle this with awesome customer service skills and a new customer for his company. Since the Steven's brothers bought this place it is TERRIBLE. They removed pulled pork off the menu, the service is AWFUL except two or three waitresses. The speakers are so loud you can't hear anyone or anything. I'm all for bars, sports bars and loud restaurants but this place is ridiculously loud. The good news is, It's gone so downhill you don't have to wait for a table any longer. On any given night you use to have a wait off at least 20-30 minutes but now you can walk right in, even on the weekends. Save yourself the time and money...DO NOT GO HERE! I never go to these places unless I'm with friends. I was in town for a trade show and I didn't want to eat alone. I have a hearing disability and the waitress acknowledged it and nicely accommodated me. Another member of our party is an Iraqi war veteran and has a trained dog for his PTSD. They allowed him to bring it in, which I was amazed and delighted. That pup has better table manners than most humans and is a teetotaler like me. The place is loud on a Saturday night and the waitresses handled it like pros. As for the food, my steak was very reasonable and quite good, along with the garlic mashed potatoes and the broccoli. I came again and got served by the OG HANNAH and she by far is the friendliest person here!! Thanks Hannah I just want to say that the first time I went we had a waitress named maricella. She was so nice and on top of her game. The food was hot and great. The drinks refreshing. It made me return a few more times. We had maricella again tonight and again she has blown the other couple girls we had out of the water. She was on top of our order. Very sweet. My husband ordered the food online and when he got there was told it was not ready, then was questioned if he had came to the right location. After waiting almost an hour and being told they were making it one of the workers told him that his food was actually sitting there at the bar ready this whole time and attempted to give it to him. He declined stating that it had now been sitting there for an hour and was cold. They walked off with it stating they would have it re-made. When he arrived at home with the food the fries were cold and stale, my sandwich was cold and inner bread was soggy. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. You can never go wrong with Twin Peaks.. The only draw back is the price... minimum price for a drink is about 4-5 but most are about 7-9. Our most recent visit was to watch KU vs. Auburn. We arrived about 6:45 and the game started at about 8:40. Place was packed with the March Madness games on. There were a few patrons that appeared to be inebriated beyond belief sitting at the bar. Witnessed a few people climbing on top of the deer/elk statue outside... March Madness does crazy things to people lol Anyways, seemed to be the party spot and it was definitely entertaining! Service was a little rough but not horrible. It was as expected with March Madness and all. Food was great! Triple layer nachos are the bomb! Also, highly recommend the smoked wings........ Haven't been here in a few years due to COVID, and me getting a heart transplant. I'll be out to Wichita in 2022. Though I won't be able to eat Chicken Fried steak daily. This is one of the better Twin Peaks. Better than the ones in Texas and Oklahoma. I miss Mackenzie, Kayla M, and Jasmine. Hopefully I'll have them as servers again. read more
