So to start off, we were seated and given our food with no silverware. we ordered coffee as we sat down but weren't given it until the end of our breakfast. when i finally received my coffee, she didn't give us any creamer with it. after waiting for a long time for my creamer, i put it in only to find a bug floating in my coffee. we asked for a specific kind of home-fries with peppers and onions but instead got a hash brown with peppers sprinkled on top. we got things we didn't ask for, she wasn't apologetic or concerned for any of the mistakes we mentioned to it and didn't even mention a discount or offer another cup. the only thing that was good here are the balloon animals. as i looked around, it wasn't just us that were disappointed everyone around us as well because they were given wrong orders. read more

We wanted breakfast-for-dinner so decided to go here. We hadn't been here in about 7 years so thought maybe things were better than the last time... nope. There were only 3 other tables aside from us and 2 waitresses. The place was extremely dirty- flies everywhere and tables that had dirty dishes and trash that remained the entire time we were there! It was extremely quiet/uncomfortable- no music, no conversation. Our waitress took our order quickly... brought out 2 ice waters and cup for my coffee with a carafe. I had to request cream and sugar... said she would get that... nope. Couldn't find her anywhere...About 15 minutes later when I saw her and got her attention from across the room, I asked again. "Oh sure" she says...Another 10 minute wait! She finally comes with a small plate- 3 sugar packets (not kidding) and 5 creamers, and 2 small half full Dixie cups of syrup! We then had to request utensils... another few minutes. Then had to ask for more sugar and cream as we had a full pot of coffee! Food took way too long considering everyone else was served and eating except for us (at least 25 minutes!) When it came out, no butter on the toast, eggs were over done, bacon was barely cooked despite requesting it be well done. I had to request a special syrup- I asked for strawberry- again brings a tiny Dixie cup half full! By this point, I gave up. She never returned to ask how things were or if we needed anything.... Until the end. Once we got our check, she disappeared AGAIN! When we got up to leave, all of the restaurant staff were sitting at a back table chatting ...and eating!?! Will NEVER return- between the fly infestation, dirty floors, and unattended dirty tables, extremely slow/inattentive and inefficient service, and bland food... not worth it. $40 check for 2 people- what a complete waste. In this area!! I've been craving IHOP buttermilk pancakes and hated driving very far away. It is Ihop, you should already know what you're getting when you walk in the door. Being said as far as IHOPs go this is cleaner and more spacious than most. And the decor is very soothing. No complaints at all I was pleasantly surprised to see scrapple on the menu. A visit for a late breakfast was just a bit disconcerting. Although the food was good (eggs, pancakes for my husband and French toast for me) and served quickly, the staff left a lot to be Desired! Our waitress was ok ( no smiles nor friendliness but efficient. A busboy took up residence in the booth next to us under the guise of clearing the table telling another man cleaning up several nearby tables he was "catching his breath". When we were paying the bill and getting ready to exit there were several waitresses in a group at the front with one young lady complaining about the amount of people in the party the she was serving. All in all I wasn't comfortable with the general vibe of this restaurant. I will return to IHOP but not this location. Just stopped in to IHOP at 4:00pm on a Sunday. The place was empty. Maybe 5 tables had people at them and it took our order 45 minutes to come out. That is unacceptable anywhere and especially at an IHOP. We had three people at our table, one ordered pancakes, one ordered crepes, and the last ordered a sandwich. Really nice IHOP. Clearly it's very new. The service was very good. The wait was short. Lilliana, Liz and Kim were extremely attentive (they use teams of servers) for Sunday breakfast. Since its an IHOP, it's not like there's anything all that different in the menu, but the food was really good. Nice and hot, not greasy. My wife had an omelette and I had the sampler. We would definitely eat here again. Apparently a lot of people come here for Birthday breakfasts as there were three times when staff came out clapping singing Happy Birthday. Ignore the reviewers that talk about bad smells and other nonsense. They only have one post so they have some kind of axe to grind. This place is fine. read more

I have been here twice and only with request by my children who wanted the Cinnamon swirl brioche french toast. The first time we came the service was extremely slow and other customers were waiting a lot longer and just as annoyed with no apology. Though the meal was ok, we were not thrilled. The second time the same thing but worse happened, my son never had his meal replaced after stating it was not liked. I asked for it to be taken off the bill and it was not. No one came back to refill all 4 empty waters and 2 coffees. I was asked how our service was and we stated these issues, the boy who checked us out did NOTHING to help make us feel better, thus losing a customer. First of all this is a chain restaurant so my expectations are not high. This is a good ihop compared to some o the other I have gone to. Expect a bit of a wait during peak breakfast time. They will tell you 20 minute wait. I think that is their standard but the wait was longer. The wait staff seemed a little younger than the typical diner wait staff. Service was good though. Worst food I've had. From a place that is known for pancakes. Nope. Years ago I went to one and it was great. Was excited again to go tonight. Took my family. Slow service. Food portions were really small. The food itself was horrible. Home fries were cold and you can tell were probably frozen for a good 2 weeks. The cheesecake pancakes had maybe 5 pieces of cheesecake in them. In all 5 pancakes! My wife needed to get 3 different sets of forks and knives because each time the ones we got were dirty. Only thing good was the price. I'd much rather pay a little more for better food. Save your money and time and goto Shoprite and get the frozen pancakes. You'll be much happier. read more

My first time going to IHOP. We went during the evening. The food was very good for the most part. Steak a little overcooked but not a big deal. The service on the other hand was not good. Ill preface this by saying I used to be a server so I know how it can be. This was very bad service. It wasn't busy and there werent tables already sitting that were being taken care of. We got our drinks at a reasonable time, ordered an appetizer and didn't see the server again until the app came out(15-20 minutes) my boyfriend needed sugar but we didn't see her to ask for addition so his coffee got cold, I didn't let him complain about it because things happen. Gave our food order and waited. When the food came out something was missing,it happens no big deal. I figured she forgot to put it in. She leaves and we don't see her for about 20 minites, we have no napkins,no ketchup, no steak sauce and no refills. She finally comes back with what she forgot to put in the system. Gets us what we requested (only 2 napkins when I asked for extra) and disappears again. As I said I used to be a server so I give a good amount of leeway, she was no where to be seen AGAIN. Figure oh well. Eat our food. When she finally comes back we get boxes she drops the check and disappears AGAIN. We had to wait for her to return to get an additional bag. Long story short. Food was very good, service was horrible.Tha only way that I would eat there again was if I was getting take out. Now the manager asked how things were twice we just said ok because we didn't want to get the server in trouble. We should of spoke up. This is the 4th visit to this location. Each time we go the service gets WORSE! My co-workers and I go Thursday mornings before work. We work for a doctor so we are all in the same scrubs. Obviously we are on a time crunch. .. This morning we waited FIFTEEN MINUTES before anyone even acknowledged we were sitting there! While 5 of the servers were standing by the kitchen doors gossiping! When our server Lyzbeth finally got around to taking our order the food came rather quickly. During our meal she never came back to check on us. She was standing at the kitchen doors gossiping until my Co worker began putting her coat on. She then brought us the check! The building is nice and clean and convenient for us to meet at because it's a central location between all of our homes. Before this one was built we would go to the one on 73 in Marlton. I have to say, it's worth the longer ride to go to the Marlton location! The service there was always exceptional! The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is the cleanliness, setup and location! despite receiving an email saying that i would be contacted when my curbside order was ready i was never called or emailed. this resulted in me ending up at the wrong ihop where i was repeatedly ignored and hung up on. by the time i realized my mistake my order had been sitting for fifty minutes. after seventeen calls i finally got an answer from a manager who refused to refund or remake my food. i understand that it's my fault for misreading which ihop i ordered from but the fact that after almost an hour late i wasn't contacted despite the store having my phone number and email address. when i got to the store to pick up my food it was sitting on a cart with no heat lamp, presumably where it had been sitting for the last fifty minutes. i've been working in restaurants for the past seven years and i've never experienced or given this level of customer neglect to the point where i'd willingly serve hour old food. wish there was at least some way i could get a refund for the tip i left when i initially ordered. read more
