Great customer service! I tried to order on the app but one item would not come up. So I called and made my order on the phone. Came in to pay and Jordyn was very sweet and personable. Got home and we were missing a few items we had ordered. When we called the girl on the phone was very apologetic and didn't hesitate to offer to fix it right away. Like the review below, an IHOP is an IHOP. The food is pretty consistent at each IHOP, unless they really mess it up. The service was SUPER EXCELLENT. As soon as my fiance and I walked in, we were greeted by someone who was working in one of the dining rooms. We came in on a Tuesday morning, so it wasn't super busy, but there was a good amount of patrons in the restaurant. As we were seated, the waitress asked for our beverage order and came back promptly and poured coffee for the both of us. She told us the specials and asked if we were ready to order. We weren't, so she gave us a few more minutes. Our order was put in, and served in under 10 minutes. (WOW). Our server was super great about checking on us, and even let us know that she was needed in the other dining room and told us our new server's name. (I can't remember either names.) I love IHOP, but the service made me love THIS IHOP. read more

So, I love ihop and the food is always good, but the hit comes from the waitress staff. I was seated and that is when it took a turn for the worse. Two waitress came in the side door cussing up a storm, then one of them need to go back out and get her sons fund raiser project and left the side door open and got that side of the restaurant cood. When I asked if the door could be colsed, the waitress who went out snaped she would I just need to be patient. She then proceeded to go behind a wall and bitch about me, where I could completely hear her. I was then haned my check from my waitress before I was even done with my food. Never saw her again. This is the second time that I have stopped here and the last experience was similar to this visit. I am one of those people who tries to see the good in every restaurant experience, this was just bad. read more

The last time I ate at this IHOP was about five years ago. Five years ago the food and service was good. Today the food was very poor the service was just ok. The reason for the poor customer service rating is because the hostess forgot to bring me coffee. There were only four other customers in the restaurant. I ordered the California Scramble. Sounds yummy doesn't it. But it wasn't. The eggs were somehow scrambled with air. Kind of like making one egg puff up to cover half the plate. It lacked taste and texture. There was shredded cheese on top that looked and tasted like it came out of a bag that had been left open in the refrigerator for a week. Avocado slices on top were fine. That was the extent of the scramble. No meat, onions, potatoes, greens, or anything else mixed in. The toast was thin and tiny. It came with strawberry jelly only. I guess other options were too expensive or unavailable. The hash browns were just ok. The coffee was warm rather than hot. Overall the quality was down and prices were up. Even though I was hungry, I only ate a few bites and left. Without a doubt, this was the worst egg dish I have eaten. I don't know who you can mess up something as simple as an egg. read more

Went in a little after 9 and stayed until a little after 11:30 with my friend Renee, and my sister Cherette. We had been late shopping for about 4 hours, and we were all starving. So my sister mentioned IHOP, and I'm so glad she did. First off this was my first time coming here. When we went in it was quite, maybe 10 tables were full. Clean, no sticky tables, no bugs (someone mentioned cockroaches in one the reviews. Not one was around at all, and trust me I looked) We were greeted at the door with a smile, and a hello. Our hostess sat us down, then our sweet, server (waitress) came over. Can't even began to say so many nice things about her. Just wish we all remembered her name. 22 years old, younger looking one with longer, lighter hair and bling jeans. She was just plain AWESOME! Service was great, 2 mins in we got our drinks. We ordered, sampler came first, finished that. About 5 mins later our breakfast came out. My friend Renee had coffee, and my sister/I had hot tea. We all ordered different things, breakfast sampler, omelet, onion rings/chicken strips/HUGE mozzarella sticks, pancakes, build a breakfast, and crêpes. I had the build a breakfast 2 eggs, 2 bacon or sausage with either pancakes or crêpes. I've never had crêpes before, so I asked our waitress which one should I order, she recommend the strawberries. Saved my crêpe the last thing I ate, and it was so good. The waitress spilt our checks up, we all tipped her well, and we left full/happy. We always have good service at IHOP in Y.C. We go their with our grandkids and the waitresses are always so friendly. The food is good and fairly priced. We try to aviod going on Sunday or on holidays because you may find a long wait maybe 20 minutes before you are served. They do serve foods other than breakfast like sandwiches and chicken fried steak but my personal favorite is the Healthy Grain pancakes. If you are not a big eater you can get a 1/2 portion and the price is less. We totally recommend eating here. read more

We usually do breakfast at IHOP and have always gotten good service. Amy is the best ever. But a few times we've gone at night for dinner and it's the worst service ever. But tonight takes the cake. We got seated quickly and it took 10 minutes for someone to ask what we'd like to drink. The waiter walked by us 3 times asking the people around us how everything was for them. Not once were we spoken to by the waiter. We get our drinks and shortly after the waiter comes and asks if we were ready. We asked for a few more minutes and he said he'd be back. Like 10 minutes later he comes by with an attitude and says "you know what you want yet? " like seriously? We order. We get our food. My potatoes aren't even done. They're instant potatoes with flakes still in them. I immediately stopped eating. My steak tasted like crap. He asked once how everything was and we told him so he took our drinks off the tab. All the while the whole 45 minutes there he came by our table 3 times. But every person around us he was literally catering to them. I'm not sure if it was senior citizen night or what but he did whatever he could for them and just left us in the dust. We will definitely not be going back there for dinner. Its IHOP the food is good IHOP food, but the service is whats best there, everyone is always nice, refills coffee fast and always makes sure what you got what you need. Its also the only i hop ive been to that has butter pecan syrup which is extra tasty. My son wanted to eat at IHOP tonight for his 13th Birthday. Our server Jack was wonderful- very pleasant and attentive. He even got the crew to sing Happy Birthday to Jacob before we left plus gave him an ice cream which was unexpected so everyone was very pleased. The food quality was pretty good and wait time was minimal. My complaint is that we have been to this particular IHOP many times, as well as other locations which have all offered their 'kids eat free' from 4-10pm deal. I didn't see any changes to their policy posted informing people that they don t offer this anymore so I was very disappointed to find out when we paid our bill. They should post a sign making families aware of this because it makes a big difference in the final bill and having a big family, we look out for cool deals like that to stretch our dollars as far as we can. read more

The food is always good here. The waiters and waitresses are friendly. It tends to be noisy and crowded. The food takes a bit longer than expected every time, but I think it is enjoyable for an omelett or eggs, bacon and potatoes. I made my sister take me to IHOP, not realizing it was a beautiful weekend day when EVERYONE in Yuba City wants to go to IHOP. We actually had to wait for a table! At IHOP... In the YC! Shelby was phenomenal and such a joy, she is a reason to go out to breakfast here because you can tell she loves to please people and is awesome at her job. This place was run like a well oiled machine. I was impressed with every staff member, the speed of service and the excellent tasting food. We also enjoyed the variety of flavors on the menu and with the pancake syrups. The food here is good and the service is almost always awesome! I love the variety and value of the menu. To go orders usually run a little late but the orders are 9/10 times correct. Really good place. Edit: had to drop them down a star. The manager on duty was trying her best ,short staffed,busy after the Christmas parade. But our waiter, Roger, on 12/1/18, was beyond bad. Before we could order he was berating the busboy, who was hustling so hard that he was red faced, and then was the slowest most inattentive waiter I've ever seen. Busy times happen with short staff. We understand that, everyone else was really hustling. Roger was slowing it all down and then blaming everyone else. My husband said he could only be described as slothful. We've always had excellent service here, the food was great, the place was clean, now if only our waiter could have stepped up his game to match the others, we would have had no complaints about the wait. 5 stars for the mod and busboy, 0 for Roger. read more
