    Watermelon Feta Salad

A cozy and inviting spot for a delicious Italian meal! Ambiance & Service: the interior is very homey, perfect for a date night! Our server was friendly and attentive, with food arriving quickly yet well-paced. Food: - Garlic Knots: Complimentary and generously garlicky, though a bit too oily for my taste. - Watermelon and Feta Salad: Very fresh and flavorful! Highly recommend! - Penne w/ Broccoli di Rabe: Simple but delicious, with plenty of broccoli rabe and a shareable portion. TL;DR: Cozy, welcoming spot with attentive service and tasty dishes. Recommend the Watermelon Feta Salad and Penne w/ Broccoli di Rabe!

Salmon cooked perfectly in a brandy peppercorn sauce.

My husband and I ate at this moderately priced Italian restaurant last night. It's got a homey vibe with linen covered tables in separate dining areas. Hanging from the ceiling are dozens of wrapped vintage wine bottles. Though somewhat fancy, it's casual enough to wear shorts and flip flops with a button down. The food though... seriously, we had our best meal at Sag there!!! The garlic knots were warm and super tasty. The gluten free bread also came out freshly baked and super buttery. Going gluten free is difficult but if this place was closer to us, my husband would be in heaven. I ordered the salmon which came with a unique brandy peppercorn sauce. It was unbelievably delicious. I ordered plain white rice with it and garlic sautéed spinach which complemented it perfectly. My husband ordered the veal scaloppini which had strips of prosciutto with it drenched in a Marsala sauce. His gluten free meal was outstanding! Our waitress Jessie G made several wise recommendations for food and drink choices. It was clear she knew the menu throughly, and after hearing our dietary restrictions, she flawlessly considered everything and pointed us in the right direction. She efficiently tended to our needs without being intrusive or neglectful. Give this place a try if you haven't. You'll be glad you did!

This is a smallish high end Italian restaurant. I got a Caesar salad with shrimp and dressing on the side. No brown lettuce, all crisp, shrimp well cooked. Service was a little slow and it took forever to get our check--I was going to self-combust if they had not come. The garlic knots where delicious and made with great care--perfectly crisped exterior and the right amount of garlic and butter. The ambiance was cozy, not too noisy, almost comfy chairs, and table space a little tight. Lighting was a little dim. I will come back, and I suspect will give it 4 stars if i sample more food.

Had an amazing dinner. Carbonara and the Pistachio pasta dish were outstanding. My only complaint is that the chocolate lava cake was just a normal chocolate cake with no chocolate "lava"

Decent Italian restaurant with reasonable prices. Dishes are large enough to split. Some dishes were a bit on the bland side (salmon). Scallops were the best of the night along with the warm garlic knots! Nice for a date or group!

The young man waiting on is explained that because it is a bed and breakfast they had restrictions on dining hours ok I understand As the night progresses and me on a sour mood.. these folks were able to turn it around with kindness , thoughtful care and exceptional food The salad with buratta was so fresh , very simple but elegant In presentation The Tuna Tatare an absolute powerhouse of clean flavor without a fishy aroma. The bomb dish ( in a good way) was the linguine with lobster. Wow!!! Many places here on EH destroy your wallet just by using the title " lobster" this perfectly seasoned dish is a light butter cream sauce was not at all heavy the lobster plentiful and frankly enough for two ppl All in all my only complaint is that they are only open Wednesday through Saturday but hey.. if it's that good it worth planning around their schedule. It is also a perfect winery for larger groups as they have an indoor and outdoor tasting area. This place is just beautiful. We sat on the porch looking out over the vineyard like we were in the Alexander Valley. Honestly, we have done the North Fork trail more but will now be a SOFO family as well. Helene and I both enjoy a good Chardonnay and "Wolffer's Pearl" is great, A chard with tremendous body and depth. We had the honor of being on a European Wine Cruise with the wine maker. Roman Roth [and his wife]. He had multiple wine dinners where we had an opportunity to try some of these new red and white wines and really took a liking to them. We joined their wine club as soon as we returned home so we'll have more to enjoy during the year. Let me be honest... I have been drinking and collecting Roman Roth wines for years now and have always enjoyed them. The team that took care of us was amazing. Nothing but smiles and service. We were very lucky to have the opportunity to experience this wonderful visit. The only downside is that the drive from mid-island to the Hamptons can get a little long. This was a small price to pay for the wonderful experience we had. KUDOs to the team at Wolffer Estate Vineyard
