Hmm....I feel that Ikea has really dropped in everything the last several years. The food, the service, the furniture, the store ans the quality. Like we went to the little food area for 2 hot dogs and they were absolutely disgusting, the pretzel was gross, service was not good but I gave 2 stars for the blue slushie. At least that was decent. Couldn't find anyone for help and when we locate someone, they look like they hate their job and don't want to answer your questions. Not one Ikea employee but 2 and 3 were the same I hate my job attitude. Everything was out of stock and no wonder people stop buying cheap furniture at Ikea. Back then, at least something was great. Now ?Not a thing. Guess this is my last time at this Ikea.

Uhmmm I love IKEA, no one can tell me nothing about it! lol! Everytime I go, of course I have to stop into the restaurant, it's cheap and yummy! Those meatball plates hit the spot especially with the lingonberry jelly, so good! Pro tip near the Christmas holidays they have a Julbord buffet celebration, you buy a ticket and get to experience a Swedish celebration! love it!

Delicious food and so so worth it, I can't even get over how cheap the food is. The meatballs are a must! They've really perfected them with the lingonberry jelly and gravy. The macaroni is also crazy good, you can get a plate for like $3 and I think that's what I'll do next time. It looks like it'll be really thick and artificially cheesy. And while it does have that artificial flavor, it's not as strong as I expected. And it wasn't as coagulated as I thought it would be. The garlic bread is delicious, I don't think you can go wrong with garlic bread. But it doesn't matter because they didn't. The garlic lemon cod was a little on the drier side but it's fish and it's cheap so you can't really ask for much. The flavors were all there though. The peas are a nice option when you want some vegetables but they are on the mushier side. The mashed potatoes were really bland so if you get it, I definitely recommend getting the gravy. But it was nice to find there were some actual potato chunks inside instead of just one uniform potato slush. The penne pasta was something I could have done without, but it wasn't bad. It was just very plain. I wish the vegetable medallions counted as a side but those are sooo good too. Kind of like a mini quiche.

Sure, this aint a 5 star restaurant, and sure it's a place to eat in the middle of a huge department store. For sure though, its fun. It's different. That's why I stop in here. That's why I come and eat the meatballs and the peas and sometimes the chocolate cake. This cafeteria style food is a pit stop for the ones who need a break from shopping, or for a family and those who just want to chill folks. It has restrooms and a nice side seatting area for maybe hiding out and having a coffee while you people watch area. Did you know they have events sometimes also? This midway pitstop makes the hours long shopping spree more of a I'm looking forward to it day than a dredge. It's a unique idea thanks IKEA.

Actually really kind of nice. How they have the store laid out, the restaurant is right in middle. Cafeteria style service. Food was good. So what do you get in a Swedish store? Swedish meatballs of course. Pretty good

Just a slightly better option then fast food restaurants! They have good deals on certain days too! The food is above average for what you pay.

I don't like leaving bad reviews, but unfortunately this situation has forced me to do so. This is the first time I've found something in the food that shouldn't be there! Please be careful with what you're eating

IKEA Restaurant is popular for their Swedish Meatballs. It's so affordable. I order this every time we visit and for $5.99, you can get them with two sides, usually mashed potatoes with gravy and green beans. Also, you can get them as a side item (4-pc for $1.25 or 8-pc for $2.50). They also offer Braised pork shank plate, Salmon plate, and other good stuff. Plenty of drinks and desserts to choose from. Some are priced under a buck. Do you like coffee? Be a part of the IKEA family and the whole fam gets free unlimited coffee for the day. Only one member card is required. That deal used to include lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos. Now, you have to purchase tokens to get those. What a bummer! Before the change, my wife and I used to be jacked up with caffeine as we drank cups of espressos and lattes. LOL There's also an IKEA Bistro located in front of the store. "Pick up a quick snack and drink for the entire family before you make the journey home with your new purchases. The IKEA Bistro has tasty frozen yogurt, hot dogs, veggie dogs, cinnamon buns and more." Their veggie dog is not bad and most items are $1 or less.

This place is great, it has everything. I was so glad when IKEA came to Jacksonville. The meatballs come in such a great assortment from Swedish meatball to a vegetarian option. All the employees are always so cheerful and helpful, and making sure the store is clean and welcoming. My girlfriend and I come here often because of the food, deserts and because of its proximity to school and the St John's Town Center.

IKEA Restaurant is a go-to for my boyfriend and I. The food is very inexpensive and always tastes amazing. If you're an IKEA Family Member, they have special deals everyday for the IKEA Restaurant. All of our meals today were 50% off. The service is always great every time we eat here. Everyone is so kind. I also enjoy the environment of the restaurant. It is spacious and decorated very simple and nice.

IKEA is the place to be if you are looking for value and nicely designed furnitures and decors. The place is huge and has plenty of home showcases featuring their products. A complete store from furnitures, lightings, kitchen appliances, decorations, outdoor furnishings, floorings and so much more. They even have a cafeteria serving hot foods, desserts, salads and the whole nine yards. They also sell frozen foods and other groceries like cookies, chocolates and other things. Plenty of parking and all items in the stores are labeled for easy identification and pickup at the end of your tour/shopping. Best of all, prices are fairly priced and they also have a clearance section towards the end of the store. Plenty of space to move around and friendly employees available to help you.

It was a little bit of a drive away, near the beach, and there was absolutely no parking on a Friday night. My husband dropped me off and circled while I placed a few to go orders. It was a cute little shop with donuts, shakes, and ice cream. The donuts are not traditional donuts; more like deep fried donut holes that are covered with all kinds of yummy toppings. They're also served nice and hot and in 10 packs. They had lots of cool donut flavors like: Dark Delight, Maple Bacon, , White Tella, and Love U Matcha, The prices range from $8.75 to $9.50 per box. They all sounded yummy; but we decided on Twix Fix, drizzled with caramel, melted chocolate, and cookies, and Lotus Crunch, which was topped with melted Biscoff cookies. Our order was ready in about 5 minutes and the bag of donuts was nice and warm. We ate them when we got back home. They were more chewy and heavier than regular donut holes, but rich and delicious. You could really only eat a few; so a box of 10 is a decent sized dessert for 2 people to share. Lukumades is definitely a very unique donut experience and worth supporting because they're not a huge chain. You'll be glad you tried them....and its worth the drive.

We ordered the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer, they were phenomenal! Then we both decided on steak for dinner. I got the filet, and ordered it medium rare and it was perfect. My husband ordered the ribeye and his was medium, his was also spot on. Then of course, we had to get dessert. I got the German chocolate cake (this apparently isn't their normal one) and my husband got the dulce cheesecake. The waitress we had was great, and she recommended lots of tips and favorites to try. The only negative thing that I would say is that it's a bit cramped, so it was very loud and hard to hear each other at points. This was an amazing dinner. We will be back

Our waiter, Evan, was very proactive & offered suggestions with menu items. We started with some cocktails, the gentlemen with the cider beer & an old fashioned. I chose a glass of bubbly & the birthday girl had the fizz cocktail. It was incredible with a fresh blackberry puree. We started with the fried green tomatoes & the calamari, both were delicious! Calamari was prepared well and not too chewy. We shockingly each chose a salad: the bistro steak, the chop chop Asian, the goat cheese, and the salmon. Each one was incredible. Mine was the chop chop and I absolutely loved it! It was HUGE and you can bet I ate every single bite. Loved it!' We finished with the brownie topped with ice cream for the birthday girl, it was extremely tasty! Thanks again to Evan for making our night! He was a fantastic waiter! Would absolutely request him in the future.

The ham was below average, with one hard bit. My wife didn't like that there was so little pineapple in it. Our Napoleon pastry was pretty good, and I might get it again ($5 for a small one). We both preferred it to the brownie ($4). I don't particularly like brownies, but this one looked particularly appetizing, and the order-taker said it was one of her favorites, so we tried it. That was a mistake. Perhaps I should have tried the mini cream puffs, which are a favorite of mine (3 for $5), instead. Among other things I usually like, they had carrot cake for $7 and a cup of cheesecake for $9 (which seems steep). Their fruit shaped pastries looked beautiful (and a couple next to us said they loved the mango one), but were $12 each. Their fruit-topped Danishes also looked delicious, but weren't available any more at lunch time. They also offer milk shakes and loaded (sweet) croissants. There are only four stools here next to a bar, if you want to eat in. The bathroom was pretty good. I probably wouldn't come here again, but if I were in the area I might try some of their other pastries or sweet treats.

The next morning, we had the sausage and scallion bun at home. I liked it, maybe more than the pork bun, and would get it again, though it had the advantage of being reheated at home in the microwave. My wife liked the dough, the hot dog less so (and I must admit the hot dog in the croissant we had a while ago at Cruffin & Tea was better). I'd get this again, though probably trying the regular hot dog bun instead of the scallion one next time. I'd asked the server if she could reheat our items when I bought them, but she said no, and didn't seem to understand English well. So far, I've preferred the savory things to the sweets here. Each item was $3-3.25, so a better value than the other bakeries I go to. I will return to this place periodically, but I still prefer places like Cruffin & Tea and Le Petit Paris, so I'm giving Mai Xiang Garden Bakery an average rating, 3 stars: pretty good, but not above average for a bakery, other than the good value.
