I have had co workers go pick up a pizza and it is always delicious. I drive by and think, I should go in today. It's just that she so sucked the joy out of it the first time. For me, I am always on the search for the thin crust pizza with great sauce. I found it here. I love how they have about 20 condiments on the table for you, which include italian seasoning, red pepper, cayenne, the container with giant holes to deliver fresh parmesan cheese... Very chill pizza joint and pizza isn't that bad. Only problems I seen while eating is the display where the pizzas are. The employee keeps the display sliding door open. Thus easy access for a fly to sit on the mozzarella and tomato pizza. Was there for at least an hour the fly stayed on the same pizza the whole time n somehow the employee didn't see it. We have been buying pies from this place, downtown Sarasota, at least once a week since it opened YEARS AGO! The people that worked there & the pizza was always to die for! The past year or so, it has been poor & inconsistent! Tonight we asked for well done & he even repeated back well done but it wasn't even cooked crispy like it used to be! We always recommended & promoted this place & we are finally giving up. With the constantly changing personnel & the inconsistent pizza, we are finallly calling it quits. Well, what can I say? I do not know what the rules are for writing a review on Yelp for a same place twice, so what the heck hear I go! I am at work indecisive on what to eat for a Friday night as I can not really go out to get my meal at work, so thank goodness for online delivery! Anyhow, I ordered the Prosciutto Sub without balsamic vinegar from Il Panificio and did not once again fail my appetite at work. The last sub I ordered was the Italian Sub. Sometimes the sub is so big I have to take home to share with my husband. The bread is the best here I think it is better than even Publix sub bread. I definitely want to go in and experience this place one day while not at work. They give hearty portions not just a sub from Subway either. You can also order chips on the side but are just a few extra dollars more because what's a sub without chips as I was already snacking on some at work so no need to order the extra chips. read more

Two of us went to this pizza place upon recommendation of solid italian pizza. We asked if we could have a half cheese, half everything pizza and they said they could do it, but unfortunately still had to charge us for the everything pizza as they had no way of discounting us for no toppings on the cheese half. Understandable, but that is something they need to correct. They have a wide assortment of desserts and pastries, as well as some candy bars if you're into that. They give it a 2-5 minute heat up in the over and you are on your way. Although it is kind of a big deli, there is room and a few tall/stand-up tables with stools.
