Something about it , was really neat looking. It was Asian ruined. I liked the music they were playing too. A little techno but that soon changed to country ugh. heheh. We were greeted right away and also seated the same. There were only a few tables taken up at this time since it was only half an hour since they had opened. The staff was really friendly and explained the specials and the favorite menu items. There was so much i wanted to try but there were only the wife and I. The wife got the pigs in a blanket. She said the eggs were cooked perfectly, nice and soft. Liked it I started with the special banana bread bites which were yummy. Then I got the pork hash and fried rice. It looked wonderful and tasted great. Loved it. I knew this was the place to go for a fantastic breakfast. We loved it so much we came here , I think 3 or 4 times during our stay. If we lived here they would call us by name. Next time we got the All about the Bennys. The wife got it with pork belly and it didn't disappoint. so good. I had to try the pancakes so I got one Lilikoi It was so yummy and flaky the wife didn't care for the roasted macadamia nuts but I liked them roasted. Had to get the Loco Moco your way. So I got the shaved prime rib. Wow so perfect. Loved the flavor and it sure hit the spot. Next day the wife got the two eggs with bacon and a crispy shredded potatoes which were amazing. Loved the crunchy potatoes. It was her favorite. I got the crispy pulled pork sandwich and it was just ok , it was kind of dry and I had to ask for bbq sauce to get it down. Won't get that again. Flashback price on chicken wing of $0.25 each, max 10 per person. We ordered 20 buffalo wings and fish tacos. They have a great selection of the local Kauai Brewing Company beers, another reason we want to try this place. We started we the pale ale and the Cook IPA. Cold, tasty and refreshing. We also tried the chicken IPA and Fonz IPA. All were great! Our favorite was the Cook IPA. The chicken wings had a nice heat level and were perfect accompanied by beer. We went for taco Tuesday yesterday and the tacos were $1 each! They were good--not insane but great for the price and hit the spot. The service is great and the food and drinks come out quickly despite being busy. The drinks are standard fare, nothing crazy delicious, but for the price it's great. The food is all yummy. We especially love their chicken wings! Home-fried and lots of meat. All of the dipping sauces are excellent too. We haven't had a bad dish here!
