Called and made appointment to have Lake Area home windows cleaned inside and out in early June. I related to nice-sounding female that our house was almost identical to the one they recently did on a nearby court in the same proximity and supplied the name of that particular homeowner. The lady apparently looked up that job and said "Yes, I have found it so being your home has the approximate same windows and square footage, your price will be $170. We arranged to have service done on June 16 at 3:00 pm but by 3:45 there was NO show, NO call, or NO text! We called the listed phone number and again spoke with the same female as before who apologized profusely. We rescheduled for early morning time on July 4 and a worker showed up as expected. After telling the cleaner that the skylight was not part of the job, he began unloading equipment from his pickup. Then . . . I receive a text stating the price would be $230!!! I then spoke to the same (previously nice-sounding) female who said, "Your neighbor's house was one story; yours is two". I adamently expressed that the other house was also a TWO story with same window quantity and to cancel the job! Ahead of EACH time slot, we spent over an hour moving furnishings away from windows and laying down tarps in order to have an environment in which the cleaner could work without fear of damaging a customer's property. Jay came and gave competitive quote. I decided to try his service. He came with another guy. Arrived 15 mins early at 7:15 AM out by 11:00 AM cleaning 52 exterior windows. Our entrance ground has some water puddles and some windows have some tracks still not cleaned and edges were skipped but overall it's satisfactory. Jay respond to my call, came out for an estimate and cleaned my windows yesterday. Pros -timely arrival. 2 guys took @2 hours to do work. -cleared stuff on window sills and put them back -average price -friendly guy Cons -didn't clean some tracks--just left dirty water in them. Others he cleaned, just not completely. Others he didn't clean at all. -had to ask him again to clean stains on some windows. After he left I noticed more. -although he covered his shoes, still left a mess in a couple of rooms Overall, for the money I paid, not too happy and I wouldn't use him again. I'm very happy with Jay and his crew, they just did wonderful job for cleaning our home windows including all screens. They are easy to communicate, turn back to your quote very efficiently. I contacted 3 service providers, they were the first one that I got response from. They did almost 2 hrs' job with fairly reasonable price. The one I worked with before charged same price with only half an hour job done and didn't even clean the screen. They worked diligently and detail focused. Please don't use his services! He is a very nice man, but his service is not good, or acceptable. He did not clean any of the window sills, the windows were somewhat cleaner, none of the screens were wiped down and the worse part of all, were all of the screens he replaced have one by one fallen out. I've live in my home for 15 years, and I've never had screens fall out of the window. So disappointing! His prices are high as well, but I like to support small businesses. He took advantage of my kindness, and now I'm left having another service (larger and not local) carry out the job properly. read more
