This was, without a doubt, one of the worst Korean bathhouse experiences I've ever had. The facility is outdated and poorly maintained. The products used during my body scrub appeared to be inexpensive--I was shocked to see what looked like Softsoap being used instead of the quality products you'd expect from a professional Korean spa. The older woman mentioned in many other reviews was exactly as described. She was clearly unhappy with the tip I left and repeatedly pressured me to give more. It felt uncomfortable, unprofessional, and borderline harassing. No customer should feel pressured to increase their tip after paying for a service. The massage chairs were old, worn down, and one of them was completely broken. The relaxation area also smelled like mildew, which made me question the cleanliness of the facility. Insanely rude. I've been here many times and this is far by the most disappointing service I've received. I called to schedule and she say "just come, I'm too busy" and hung up on me without even finishing the scheduling and asking for the service I wanted. I wanted to request certain employees and she just cut me off and hung up. Then she called an hr later asking I'm coming and I said "I thought you were too busy for me" and she said "I moved other clients for you" and I said "But just hung up on me so I didn't seem like you wanted to schedule us and no customer wants to be treated that poorly" then she hung up on me again. Let me start this review by stating the cold hard facts. I do not support any businesses that rip off their customers and lie to their supporters. In this area, with so many spas and establishments competing for your hard earned money, why would you ever want to give a dime to a place that is okay with selling fake Groupons and for profiling customers at the door? The funny thing about my experiences at K Spa is I waited until my 2nd visit to write my review. I am extremely thankful I waited because the last experience blew me AWAY. The first time I went here, one time my sister made an appointment and everything was fine. I noticed the front desk lady was aggressive with upselling and gave very little instruction which I was able to overlook due to the nice clean facility. I will 100% give them credit, the one star is for the cleanliness of the spa. The way I was treated beyond rush will not allow me to add even one more star. In my reviews I always sincerely want to warn people and keep anyone else from having this awful taste in their mouth over a spa that changes as much as they do. During my first visit we paid for the massage treatment (aloe) and aside from the lady making rude comments about my nose being too big for the face mask, the massage itself was very thorough. It EVEN helped me with my acne! For $200 +$30 entrance fee I would hope so!!! I was even willing to over look the comments until we started getting harassed by the owner/manger I'm not too sure but she kept following me and my sister around, ruining the relaxation by saying we desperately needed to buy packages to help our poor complexions. If she had made this suggestion once it would have been okay but 6 times?? Are you serious? I gave the first visit a pass even though I was uncomfortable just because my sister wanted to come here for her birthday. Finally getting around to writing this review. I was visiting a friend and had several hours to kill. We thought, why not check out this Korean jimjilbang and relax a bit. Right away, I noticed their prices are more competitive than the majority of places I've been to, which is always a nice surprise. I decided to try an acupressure massage with Ruby, and it did not disappoint--strong and firm, just the way I like it. Afterwards, I tried the steam sauna, and wow, it was hotter than most spas. I'm a huge fan of Korean Spas, and I've been to this one a couple of times and I'm finally giving my review. Firstly, the price of this place ($30) is reasonable for what you get. They have a hot and cold tub, a steam room that is very hot, 3 hot sauna rooms and 1 cold room. In the main room there are various massage chairs, foot massage machines, a couple of belly massage stations and comfortable chairs. I had a deep tissue massage, and it was $80 for 60 minutes. It was sensational. Yes, the front desk really tried upselling me on additional services. They close at 10pm, but they really moved to kick people out around 845pm. They don't serve much food. I spent 1 1/2 hrs driving, incurred gas , mileage cost, my afternoon program got messed up, and the lady at the counter kept on repeating the Groupon was invalid, they had canceled it long ago. Not true! Even now I see their promotion sold on Groupon - I could buy it again... which of course I will never do again, why would I take a risk with such dishonest people. To clarify, Groupon is not just a discount coupon, it's a pre-paid ticket, which they are still selling, but refusing entry. This is theft! Love this place it's healing for me to shower, bathe and sweat in the sauna and nap. The aunties are strong natured but kind and they offer dead skin cell scrub services and massages. My mother always gets scrubbed down (HAHA) that's her joy in life and I believe the massage is ~$45 so quite affordable compared to massage parlors. They have food and boba, I haven't had their food in years but I know it is quite popular. Bring your own skincare supplies and shampoo and conditioner if you don't like generic thinned out products. To update my opinion about this place, I will no longer be coming here. Here are the reasons: 1. Noise level is out of control. There are signs EVERYWHERE that asked for us to be courteous of others relaxing time, however, people who seems to be making lots of noise are the workers themselves or regulars who goes there. Or maybe newer people too, but nothing seems to be reinforced. There was a lady listening to her speaker phone right next to the sign that said no cell phone used in the changing room. Talking loudly in the salt rooms, common area, hot tub--- there's no where that's quiet. Seems like rules are meant to be broken in here. 2. Lady at the front was persistent on having people back at her spa. She tried really hard and I get where she was coming from; but friendly manners ended right when you tell her "no" on buying more add-on services. Understanding that business may crave for more, but it felt like that's the only thing they'd want you to be here for. Sadly to say, if that was the case, it was a mediocre to low level of service I was seeking here--- 3. There are people who seem to think this is some kind of Russian spa where they go naked in the common area. I don't think the receptionist go over much of what needed to be done with what each person was given or what are differences between here and the other kind of co-ed spa before entry. The management here also does not emphasize the relaxing environment. There's only one salt room that's connected to the other to make it feel like two room, so unfortunately anything discussed in one room travel in that same space. There was a couple of girls in their bikini or maybe naked in bottom half hanging out chatting loudly in one of those salt room, when I first opened it in, they jumped as if I wasn't supposed to be there. They had a Clay room, Jade room, and Crystal room which was really nice and relaxing. Just make sure you're clothed with the uniform they provide before stepping into that section. I love how each room is its own universe and everyone's experience is unique. I recommend getting a scrub or facial as no one does it better than these establishments. I was also told that it's an extra $80 for a woman to massage a man, without that policy listed anywhere. The woman at the front desk tried to collect an additional $80 from me. I personally had a great time here with my group of friends. I came with the intention of relaxation and catching up with them and that is exactly what happened! We got the 60 minute scrub and massage ($80) with the entry fee ($30) plus cash tip. Originally I had called and made a 3pm reservation, the day before the appointment they called and asked me to move me appointment to 4:40 instead. Not a huge problem for us, so we just used the tubs and showers then chilled in the rest area until 20 minutes before the new time. Ok first of all this is not your Burke Williams or high end spa experience- this is a distinctly Korean spa with its own culture. Everything was very clean and people were courteous. When you check in you are given a T-shirt and shorts and very small hand towels. You might consider bringing your own flip flop and larger towel. You can start by relaxing in the different co ed salt or clay rooms. Then get in the nude and use the hot pool, cool pool or steam room. If you are doing one of the exfoliation seaweed treatments make sure to be using the hot pool for the 20-30 min prior. For the treatment be warned you are naked, in a private area with four other women, also naked getting their treatment, adjacent to you. Your spa masseuse is wearing a bathing suit. The exfoliation is its own experience, throw modesty out the window! It was an overall pleasant and relaxing experience. My skin was so soft. Not sure I'd do it again as the being nude and scrubbed head to toe on front of other women was a lot for me. read more

Jacuzzi aka hot tub...would be nice if they used jets like a jacuzzi. they always try and upsale you more tickets $260 and they can get a bit pushy even though you been firm and say no a million times. Not much steam but plenty of heat which makes no sense to me as it spose to be a steam sauna more like a half dry half steam. I've been coming here for years. Today is the last time I will ever support this business. The front lady/owner is so rude and is watching you like a hawk. This place is suppose to be relaxing but she is always finding something that you are doing wrong. 1. She's extra rude af if you're not Korean. 2. My mom and I were scrubbing in the shower area, (with the water off and only on when we needed to rinse off) she comes in when we're basically finished and decides to tell us not to scrub in shower area and that we are wasting water since CA doesn't have much water... ................ Are you serious rn lady?! You run A SPA. WATER IS GOING TO BE USED. Can you guys see how ridiculous this is? 3. She has regulars that she's always talking smack about other customers with. This is probably the last Korean spa (jimjilbang) in the San Jose/South Bay. I usually go to the Lawrence one, but it closed down unfortunately. The admission is $25 ($5 more than Lawrence) for such a small space. There is a hot and cold pool, which can only hold 5 people max. There is no sauna room, only steam room. In the co-ed area, there are a few specialty rooms to explore. The hall ways have a lot of salt or sand from those rooms, so make sure you have slippers or else it would be painful to walk. I do like how they have a resting room and sell food. The restaurant didn't have any hours posted, which was annoying because I wanted to get food but they closed early. They don't open with the spa hours. Overall, it's an okay place. I guess I just need to get use to it because it's different than Lawrence. There are pros and cons to both of them, but I don't have many choices since these types of facilities are rare now. read more

Very poorly maintained and their ice room isn't even working anymore, yet they still charge a $30 admission fee. All their products are from the dollar store or Costco. Actually, I think the shampoo and conditioners use the Costco containers, but they probably refilled it with something from the dollar store. You also need to bring your own slippers. They don't allow you to wear shoes inside, but they also don't provide slippers. Doesn't seem very sanitary in my opinion. I'd recommend saving up a few more dollars and treat yourself to a nicer spa that's actually relaxing. You deserve it! read more
