I should have asked what came in the salad because I was surprised I had a box of lettuce. My fault because family said the salad is just lettuce and cheese. You know, I can buy a $3 dollar pizza from Walmart. I can buy 2 medium 2 topping pizzas from dominos for $5.99 each. Tell me why I hope that when I pay $30 dollars for a IMOs pizza with a free galic bread due to points that for $30 dollars the second order in a row, you can't seem to put enough sauce on the pizza to last the oven cycle. I paid you $30 dollars for 1 pizza. With delivery given. And you still can't sauce a pizza? I left comments on your Facebook page the last time, you sent me coupons. So I tried you again. And you still have no sauce on the pizza. What's with you skimping on product seriously. I loved the herky location. Best pizzas around I ordered as much as I could afford. I have family that I order for and they love this place. The biggest issue I have is that they get the order wrong about half the time. They online ordering changed so the comments are no longer with each item but at the end of the order. So the would have to actually read the comments at the bottom and about half the time they do. Spoke with the manager and we discussed the issue. He agreed they needed to pay more attention to the order however, it didn't last long. So food is good but I'd advise you go in and don't try and order online. I won't be ordering again. read more

The Festus Imo's has always been good in the past and I would pick up food to take home at least once a week. Something has really changed there; the last two busts were a real disappointment. Missing food in the order, and really poor food quality. We would usually get a small pizza an a house said to share, pizza is still good but the last two salads had old lettuce with parts the lettuce "core" that should never be served. We went in on a Sunday evening around 6 pm for a pizza. We ordered an Egg-ceptional pizza, a whole chef salad (split into 2 bowls), draft bud light and a soda. We really appreciated the fact the split the salad for us, most places give you a 2nd bowl and let you do it yourself. I ended up having to go back up to get my beer. Let me say we were the only people dining in. When I asked the girl if I could get my beer she asked if I had already ordered it...yes. ok what table are you at? Um, the only one with people at it. ( she knew this, she had interrupted us just a few minutes prior to fill our napkin dispenser while we were eating our salad..this could have waited until we were gone) Finally got my beer. Then here comes our pizza, literally slid it on the table as the guy was walking by..didnt say a word, just slid it on the table and walked to the bathroom. Imo's is one of my favorite places! Since I live out of town usually as soon as I get back in town this is one of the first places we try to stop.... With that being said I cannot tell anyone HOW HORRIBLE THE MANAGEMENT TEAM IS! At the Festus location. I have repeatedly reported them, I wish everyone else would too, when they have a bad experience. One of my biggest complaint about this location is the Monday and Tuesday special after 4pm. It's been a deal for as long as I can remember but unless you ask for it "the person who takes the order will not give it to you". Extremely Rude an poor business skills. I actually will drive the extra to go to the location in Hillsboro, Desoto or Imperial. It's a shame their still in business. read more

We stopped in the Imo's at Festus Thursday afternoon looking for some delicious pizza to please our palates. Both wife and I were very hungry and looking forward to hot tasty bacon, sausage, onion pizza. We order the pizza and both got salads. The salad bar was full and fresh but very limited selection. No tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, just lettuce, cheese, olives, and a few other less popular items. We ate those and the pizza arrive promptly. maybe just an off day, but wife and I both agreed that the pizza had not pizazz. Even after salting it up, it was very bland. Was just totally humiliated by the manager Andy. Had gone in for the lunch special at 4:15. The lunch special ends at 4:00 pm. I go in there for lunch at least 2 times a week. This happened to be a Sunday and I guess Andy doesn't work through the week cause I haven't seen him before. So the young lady went back to ask him if I could get the lunch special even though it was after 4pm. So from the back I could hear him tell her in a very sarcastic tone to do it this time but to let him know that it was after 4 and the lunch special was over at 4. When the young lady came back up I thanked her, and asked her if I could speak to the manger. When Andy came up to confront me is when things got interesting, I asked him if he had a problem with me asking, because I didn't appreciate his tone back there. He said it was after 4 and we don't usually do this, and turned to the young girl and told her to forget it, it's after 4. I told him I didn't appreciate they way I was treated and how loud he was, he said that was too bad because now everyone knows not to give anyone the lunch special after 4. I proceeded to let him know that I will be calling his boss, to let him know how I was treated, he said he didn't care what I did. I have been in the service industry for more than 30yrs and would never have treated a customer that way, much less dress me down that way. Andy has no business being in a management position. One plate we recieved was not 100% clean or didnt look it but they had a stack of plates to pick from for a new one. Restrooms were clean but out dated. While the food was good for this visit, and service decent. Eating in restaurant on a Friday was not a good experience. Place was of course busy, and there wasn't a clean table in the joint. I love Imos. I live in the bootheel of Missouri, so I am 60 miles away from the closest one. I generally stop at this Festus location on my way home from the airport. The people are nice, and the pizza is hot. It is sometimes overcooked, but mostly, it's just really good. There are some locations that consistently have burned pizza. Nothing compares to Imo's pizza! Every time I come in town it's the first stop! The best part about it is the cheese. I usually ask them to cook ut a little less than they normally would - it comes out crispy which most people like but not this girl. They have tv's as well and a few video games for the kids. Also try: toasted ravioli, bossco sticks, and the house salad. The salad is huge so share if you're getting pizza too!. And the beer is always cold! Advice - bring a jacket. My wife and I have eaten at Imo's probably once per month. We went there tonight, August 1, 2014. When we stepped up to the counter that blond girl told us that they were full tonight? What, she then asked another girl what the wait time would be! How rude and inconsiderate. We will never eat there again with this type of attitude. I am totally appalled by the treatment of Aaron, who is a shift leader at this current store. Megan took my order over the phone, in which totaled to $49.54. When the man delivered my order, I did not receive my simple half house salad, in which only cost $3.55 before tax. I called back to let them know about the missing item in our order, and a young lady tells me I need to call back when they are not busy to speak to a manager. Needless to say, I called back when I could. I have a life and kids so it wasn't that night. So when I called back to speak to a manager (Aaron) and explained my situation, he said there is nothing he can do for me. My family and I order from this Imo's at least once a week. Its delicious, and usually exact on everything. I know I've spent over $1000 at this location with out a single complaint. So, for me to call with a simple $3.55 salad missing from an order, and the response I get is to call the complaint line... I was quite surprised and disappointed. Good going Aaron! I was in the pizza business for 5+ years, and I know for a fact that one lost customer turns into ten lost future new orders due to word of mouth. Came in from Saint Louis County on Saturday to pick up a couple pizzas to take to the Pevely races, for some out of town IMO's fans. When I went back out to my car, the battery was dead. I went back inside to ask if they could recommend a local service station, and a very nice employee volunteered to pull her car around and jump my car, herself ! The manager said it was ok, and she really gave it the old school try, several times, but it was just an old dead battery. We did have to buy a new battery, but this store definitely went the extra mile for customer service ! Since I had a big hot/cold bag for the pizzas, they were still warm an hour later, and were a big hit at the race track, even if the races were called for rain that that night ! read more
