This is about as good as it gets. Let's just say that I am supposed to not eat gluten or else I get really sick, but this is one of the few foods I am willing to feel bad afterwards for. Although I like every kind of Imo's pizza, I still order their cheese pizza every time. A trip to Imo's also isn't complete without an order of toasted ravioli and their salad (I even keep bottles of their salad dressing on hand for the rare occasions I make myself a salad). Still not convinced how good it is? My sister, her boyfriend and I shared two extra-large pizzas, an order of toasted ravioli, and a salad yesterday and there was not a crumb leftover (and yes that is a ton of food). I've searched high and low in Chicago for pizza that even resembles Imo's and I've yet to find it. I don't think there is anything else out there that compares. read more

We received a mailer with Imos coupons and planned to use one at the Kirkwood store. At the counter we were surprised to learn the coupons applied to the Webster store only, and Kirkwood would not accept them. A bit surprising since we ordered several additional items at menu price. As stubborn as I am, I called their bluff and we went to Webster. Best choice we ever made. We called ahead, upon leaving the Kirkwood store, and our food was ready when we arrived. The staff greeted us upon entering and leaving. They stopped through the well-lit, spacious dining area to all the tables on several occasions. Parking was reserved and spacious. The list goes on. First let me say, my delivery guy Bill was AWESOME. The person who took my phone order was not listening to me, his nonchalant tone of voice was my first clue. When my order arrived it was not complete. Missing was my 2liter of Diet Coke. Driver/Bill apologized and said he'd be right back. while he was gone, I discovered my order was wrong, both food and price. I called back and was told the manager was too busy to speak to me. I told the person I would hold, that annoyed her. Eventually the manager came to the line and guess what ?! same guy who took the order. he mumbled that he had taken care of everything - including crediting my card the overage. my delivery guy - BILL, did everything was supposed to do. Good afternoon, I order 8 Hot Wings and Small Chicken Tenders. The wings were normal. The chicken tenders were dark, hard and extra dry like they had been re- fried. I called the next day and issued my complaint and I was told, "sorry sir." I've ordered delivery and eaten-in for about 12 to 18 months and I understand food service as with any business has an off day. The chicken tenders were terrible and I won't eat there again. What to say.... Imos is Imos. I wanted something a little different for lunch and came here. There was a salad bar, but I passed on it because it didn't look as fresh or as well maintained as I like in a salad bar. So I just got the pizza. I know a lot of non-natives just don't "get" Imos, but being a native I was raised on the stuff ( no, not literally). That being said, I just like Imos and get cravings for it. My usual at imos is sausage, green pepper and onion buy i was in the mood for even more of a change up and just went with cheese. Yes, give me the provolone!! I love it! It was a nice change up from my usual lunch routine. The pizza was delicious and the restaurant was clean. The staff was friendly. It's not the best Imos I've been in, but not the worst. It's Mother's Day and I chose Imo's Webster because I like Imo's Pizza and have enjoyed eating at the Webster location in the past. (Haven't been there in a while as I've been going to Imo's on Forsyth in Clayton). I did not have a good experience today. For my family, we ordered an extra large and a medium pizza, 4 side salads and 4 drinks and our order came to over $60 bucks. WAY, WAY too expensive for what we had - by $20 bucks. Basically the low score was because of value. $3.25 for 1 trip to salad bar on small plates is robbery and we didn't have "to go" cups. The drinks were $2.50 each and we all had one round of soda. Finally, and here's where I'm most disappointed. I ordered a mushroom and black olive pizza. The pizza that I was served had black olives but I'm not joking here. I didn't see one whole slice of mushroom on the pizza. I saw three bits on the whole thing. I didn't want to make a "stink" of things on Mother's Day but did mention something to one of the male workers who apologized. Unfortunately, I had my two sons with me who both had made pizza's in the past for other restaurants and they were embarrassed that I said something at all. When will Imo's restaurants learn that people who like mushroom pizza LIKE MUSHROOMS and want to actually eat some on their pizza. I bit that I didn't have 1 whole mushroom on my pizza. That ingredient cost me an extra $2.40. Owners - put up a photo of what your pizzas are to look like so your young workers know how to make pizzas when you're not around. Love their pasta lunch deals. For less than $10, I almost always have enough food left over for a second lunch or at least a snack. The staff is friendly and the food comes out fast. I love this place. Yeah a little expensive but worth it. I'm very picky with pizza but me and my friend ordered delivery one night and i've loved it ever since. we get it practicly every week sometimes twice a week. Imo's pizza is always a delicious treat if you ask me! I love their cheese garlic bread and their awesome lunch specials. This particular location has pretty amazing delivery drivers. They always seem to make it to my house in about 15-20 minutes or less, which is pretty amazing and convenient. Ordered my Pizza for delivery to my Kirkwood Hotel and I really liked the sauce and thin crust but my biggest concern was the lack of sausage on the pizza. I don't know if they think because I am a traveler that they can get away with it but I was a tad suprised at the lack of sausage. The people acted like it was a problem or i was wrong for having a large order quess they dont like pay checks.

They took my order almost at close, after having a horrible experience with bonefish grill in Brentwood. They reassured me they would.d take care of my order no matter the time, even though we felt horrible due to the time we wasted at bonefish grill. called up and asked what specials they had, which is common in any pizza place, I know because I worked at one in high school, the girl let out a big sigh and said "well what size pizza do you want?" I told there that would depend on the specials. She still acted completely annoyed with me, but after asking again, she did finally give me the specialst. I said I would call back, and I never will call back this location. There are other Imo's or better yet....there is a Cecil Whittakers not too far away from me. At the Webster Groves location, I have been a delivery customer for going on seven years now. A loyal inhouse dining and delivery customer for about 25+ years. Apparently, there is a new policy of having your drivers license address match your check address. It does not discriminate between loyal customers and deadbeat customers. Upon having a pizza delivered tonight, we were confronted again with being treated like a deadbeat because my girlfriend, who was ordering and her checks don't match my address, our money was no longer good to Imos. We have never bounced a check or screwed over Imos. Unfortunately, Imos new policy to treat everyone like a deadbeat is here to stay. Well, we as 25 year customers are not! We called to complain to the manger, who did not give a damn, and thanked us for trying to tell him how to run his business, very sarcastically, I might add. Well, someone had to, because he is an extremely incompetent manager. Treats loyal customers like crap! Been ordering from Imo's for the past 7 years at my address and now they need drivers license to match check. The manager is damn rude, incompetent and can stuff his pizza up his ass, which is probably where it came from to begin with and what we told him to do with it! They act like they're the only pizza in in town. I would recommend buying pizza from ANYWHERE but from the Webster Groves Imos ... unless you like to be treated like dirt. They bought their own pizza tonight, and we'll never order from that moronic manager, or any other Imos ever again.
