Almost 2 weeks of texts and emails with the business to try and resolve these issues has been an exhausting runaround that has resulted in zero resolution. I decided to check them with the Better Business Bureau and found they have a C+ rating. I've had many house cleanings in 30 years- some good, some average. I never ever thought to write a review since everyone's trying, but given my recent experience and how much they charge I hope others can avoid the hassle and cost- not to mention broken items. They give a 3 hour window of when they'll arrive- that's a lot of time to wait around, but ok. We have a newborn in the family so I just said please don't be later than that (so we'd have him out during the noisy parts). The texted AFTER they were late to say they'd be an hour late. OK. I said, please no later. Only after I called (after an hour passed) was I told they'd be an ADDITIONAL 30 mins late. OK, fine. I shrugged it off. I did the cleaning as a gift to my sister who just had a baby. It was the OPPOSITE of a gift. After they left my sister sadly showed me the baby mobile that all of her friends had handmade for her as a gift for her baby shower. It was broken in half and the cleaners had just left it there. They said nothing to me before they left. I had to text the business who didn't apologize or offer a refund but said they'd file an "insurance claim". For a handmade irreplaceable baby mobile?? On top of all this, the cleaning wasn't very good. Instead of things left sparkling, it looked mostly the same. For example, I looked at the shower where there had been some black residue along the shower wall (we were obvs hoping they'd clean) it was still there- not touched at all. 2 weeks and a dozen messages with the business later- including photos of the non-cleaned shower and broken mobile- no resolution. They have said they will look into "why" these things were not cleaned and why they were broken. It's not helpful to know why I paid almost $200 for lateness that inconvenienced the family, a not clean apartment, and a broken treasured object. UPDATE: Per the response below, you can see this is not a detailed oriented business. I never mention the kitchen issue in my review. Yes- my sister did ask for that and there was a communication breakdown that wasn't ideal, but I decided to not even mention it in this review because the other issues were bigger. The black residue is not mold- I actually had it checked (given the baby). It could have come off with a cleaning. Even if that were the case (which it's not)- wouldn't it make sense to inform me of mold that you are not going to clean?? Finally, as to the broken item that was left behind (never mentioned to us): I wrote to you a few times- issuing an insurance claim for a treasured handmade item doesn't make sense. It's technical worth might be a few dollars but it was invaluable to us and now it is broken. The very very least I would expect of a professional business is a refund or reduction. But no. As you see from their response, this business can't provide that. So, as evidenced by the response below: if you hire them and they are late, break your things, and do a sub-optimal job, they will not resolve the issue or try to make you whole for your loss.

The team is always so kind, helpful, accommodating and does such a thorough, beautiful job! I have not found cleaners that would make my place sparkle so well with such great attention to detail. They provided me calm and support in the chaos of a busy life. After I had to move across the country for a job, my elder mother had a fall, she had to be taken to the hospital by emergency services and was there for weeks. Being across the country and needing help I knew I could trust Shanna, Mariana and the team. But I didn't know that they would treat me like family, and give so much love and care to my moms place while she was away. I didn't know what they would find but I knew the apartment was in bad shape. Shanna and Mariana did such an excellent job, communicating the situation, working through the logistics and giving such care with every detail so her place would feel like home again, I really don't have words to describe how grateful I am to them when I felt so helpless and emotional. It was beyond knowing I could trust them, it was truly like have the support of family. Thank you all so much! I wish there was more I could do to show my gratitude.

Initially, communication was responsive. I was told what services were included and that the day I wanted was completely open. However, when I mentioned I needed to call back before confirming, I was suddenly told availability might not remain open, which felt somewhat high pressured. When I called back, I was informed I needed to sign a waiver related to my sensitivities. I completed the waiver promptly, but I never received clear follow-up confirmation to finalize the booking. I followed up later that same day and again over the next two days by phone, but received no response or update. I completely understand if a company decides they can't accommodate a request, but losing communication with a potential customer after having them complete paperwork felt unprofessional. A simple "we're unable to move forward" would have been appreciated. Their pricing was also on the higher end compared to other companies I contacted. I ultimately hired another cleaner who had excellent communication, respected my fragrance sensitivities, and did impeccable work. Sharing this so others, especially people with fragrance sensitivities or accommodation needs, know that communication may be inconsistent.
