The day of the move the team was thorough with their communication with us. We had the pleasure of being moved by Max, Ivan and Manap. These three men were extremely kind, respectful and easy to work with. They moved our belongings with such care and cautiously. They disassembled and reassembled our furniture with absolute no damage or issues. They reassured us that they respect our property and we made sure to respect their safety during the move. This was our first move so they also provided us with some education regarding the move. We moved from a first floor apartment to a third floor. I used Impel to move within my neighborhood (but up a steep SF hill). They did a fantastic job and I cannot recommend them enough. I booked them the same week I needed them and they squeezed me in. They warned me they had another job and could be late, which was the case but they were super efficient and completed the move in 4 hours, incl. packing and putting things in the right rooms. Not a single item broke and it was quite easy to unpack and get settled in. Dennis even made sure my Peloton turned on properly because it wasn't that day. They packed our items with no complaints and consistently checked in along the way to make sure everything looked good which I appreciated. We didn't know they disassembled/assembled furniture (our fault for not reading) so we were pleasantly surprised when they offered to put our bed frames back together instead of us having to hire another person. Could not speak more highly. They were responsive and so easy to work with. They also met all the HOA requirements of movers - req insurance, workers comp, and commercial drivers licenses. My building was old and required someone to watch as we move to prevent damages - the monitor loved the movers and appreciated how conciencous of damages they were. The actual movers were also great to work with. we had some random items that we had planned to move in our cars but they quickly packed those items up and made it easy. And to date, Impel Moving and it'll fearless leader, Dennis, have been the best. Dennis is super quick to respond and was very accommodating. Dennis and his partner did an amazing job with a tricky move: combining furniture and boxes from 2 multi-story duplexes in Oakland to a drop off an hour away in San Jose. No time was wasted despite and they were both great communicators. Furniture was handled carefully and arrived without any damage.
