    Paneng curry? Nope

Orderd Paneng curry and received what was pretty much slightly flavored coconut milk. Asked them about it and was told this is how they make it...don't do it!

We liked it! In town for a day and wanting a non-beef meal and liking Thai food, we decided to try Imperial Thai. I ordered Garlic Stir-fry Chicken and subbed Fried Rice vs white. My wife ordered Panang Curry Shrimp and subbed Rice Noodles vs white rice. She ordered Hot Tea as well. We were here on a sunny Saturday around 12:45 pm. The place was not busy at all. The wait staff was young females. They both made comments that they were sort of filling in for the summer. They did fine. The Tea came about 15 minutes after she ordered it. The water pot was about half full and was like warm. I felt the Panang Curry was excellent. My wife thought it was just okay. My Garlic Stir-fry was good. Lots of chicken and the sauce had good flavor. The Fried Rice was a bit too brown and sticky but quite edible. I'd come back for that Panang Curry!

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! They will charge you even though they never confirm the order and the websites order page will never finish. The owner themselves told me that they have no control over the website and no power to issue a refund

First I'm going to acknowledge that my group didn't get the usual Thai dishes, but what we got wasn't all that great anyway. We ordered wonton soup and Mongolian beef. The soup was kind of weird. It had large chunks of broccoli and carrots and the wontons had big bits of ground up pork. (There were no veggies in the wonton.) The Mongolian beef didn't have the worst flavor, but it had some strange chili sauce on it. When you're done eating, you get up the counter and pay. The young man asked us what we ordered. We were like, didn't you write it down?

Decent Thai place. Not much in terms of ambience, but full menu of noodle and rice dishes, soup, and curries. The service was the best part. Super friendly and attentive, even as they were getting ready to close on a Monday night and we were the last ones holding them up. My mixed vegetable medley came with broccoli, baby corn, onion, carrots, zucchini, bok choy, and a standard brown sauce with a side of rice. Tasted good. Nothing to rave about, but predictable vegetarian Thai dish, and portion size was about twice as much as I could eat. My boyfriend was super hyped on his Imperial red curry peanut butter dish with coconut milk, chicken, and pineapple. I believe he even called it something like "one of the best curries ever." Maybe that was his whiskey talking from the Crystal Lounge happy hour just down the street, or maybe it really was that good. I can't say definitively. I just wasn't feeling it quite as much. But worth giving it a try to make your own judgement.

    Pineapple Fried Rice with chicken

We found this place while checking our Door Dash options and this is one of the several Thai places available here. I'm general, there seems to be a large number of food choices within a few miles. The heat scale here goes from 1-10. I had the Penang curry with chicken and asked for it to be a 7. The curry itself was fine, but I definitely felt like the heat was closer to a 3 or 4 by the standards of most places. I thought it had good flavor, but this is the first time I've had a Panama curry and there were no vegetables. It had plenty of chicken, but I think the vegetables are the best part of these curries and it would have been great to have some. I also had some pineapple fried rice with chicken and it too was lacking in vegetables. It had a decent portion of cashews, raisins, and pineapple, but I'd have loved more veggies. The heat on this one was requested to be a 5, but again, it wasn't spicy at all. I was relatively happy with the meal in general and wouldn't be against eating there again. It wasn't my favorite Thai food, but it scratched the itch.

After all, they're located in the same space that USED to be Cham Thai. I'm please to say that the green chicken curry is the best I've had since Cham Thai closed. The Massaman Curry that my husband had was the best I've ever tasted. If you like Thai food, consider enjoying a meal at the new Tup Tim Thai!

I don't know, though; maybe being in the house and not circulating much in society owing to the virus circulating through the country right now, skewed my perception. But I don't think so. The drunken noodles were great - spicy as requested (thank you Thai chili), and with large slices of chicken, broccoli and carrots and the hints of basil. From the first bite, to the last reheated bite, the flavors came together. The chicken curry puffs are delicious. They are easily my favorite thing on the menu. I've ordered them twice and each time they were perfectly done. The wrap was the thin where you could see the yams, onion and cilantro. The pieces of veggies inside were still crunchy. They're a meal in themselves. Combine that with the quick and friendly service, and Tuk Tuk will be a regular stop when I see it in the neighborhood.

We ordered the pad Thai with chicken and medium spice. The noodles were adequately sauced, well cooked, but no spice. Our second entree was the red curry with chicken and again, medium spice level. There was a richness of coconut milk and not runny like many places. When the entrees were delivered, there was no spice and our waitress dropped off chili oil and sirachi for us to spice ourselves. This is not typical in Asian restaurants. The heat level should be incorporated in the meal, a standard unless you are not a talented Thai cook. The red curry contained an abundance of different veggies like multiple peppers and eggplant. Both dishes were ok, not memorable enough to return. Mia's Wok is working hard and feeding many loyal customers. The takeout service was thriving while we were there. I hope you develop and opinion on your own by giving them a try.

I think this was Phad Mahkeur, but not positive. Please correct me if my memory is failing me.
