He is very conservative in his approach, and if possible, will provide options based on the necessity of the repair. My wife got a nail in her tire a few days ago, due to our busy schedule it's difficult to find a day and time to make an appointment. I spoke with JR on the phone he gave me eta on about how long it would take to repair the tire. I was in and out in less than half an hour. I even made it to work an hour early. I didn't have to replace the entire tire, JR was able to patch up the tire and save us some money which was great especially right after Christmas. I went there on Dec 29th for a last minute tire issue on my trailer that has been loosing air and 2 different tire stores could not find a problem . They said it was the rim so I even bought a rim and still the problem . Art could of sold me a tire because that's what I called him for . He said let me take a look I am pretty good at finding leaks !!! And guess what instead of charging me for a tire which is what I went there for he found a pin hole and in it and patched it on the inside and guess what hasn't lost any air and just got back from a 300 mile road trip . Imperial Tire Plus is a great place to get not only tires but other work done too! The owner is really friendly and helps you figure out your options and doesn't pressure you at all. This is super important because so many shops in the area use BS fear tactics and stuff as well as just being generally overpriced when it comes to brake and tire jobs. The service is usually really quick and is at a very good price. I like the fact that they have both new and used tires and they try to save you as much money as possible. Limped in to the shop on my spare donut and they had my tire patched and replaced all within 15-20 min. $20 out the door. Awesome experience and I can feel safe heading back down to San Diego today. I chose them from a Google search based on their convenient hours and location. I had hit a nasty pothole, severely damaging two of my wheels beyond repair. The dealership wanted $615 per wheel plus labor but I was able to purchase 2 brand new wheels online from Minnesota for $500 with free shipping. However I needed someone to mount, balance, and rotate the tires. For $40, these guys did the job in under half an hour. They also filled my donut and showed me the damages on the original wheels. Right before I left, they stopped me so they could check and adjust my tire pressure. I felt like they were honest and genuine.
